Location is stunning, superb views, nearby San Quirico d'Orcia is small but lovely just a short walk away. Restaurant Barbarossa next door has beautiful, unpretentious food and atmosphere. Pool is so clean and cool, in June plenty of sun loungers to choose from. Staff very friendly. Location perfect for several stunning day trips. We stayed 6 nights and didn't want to leave!

There was an electrical problem with the hob, but the hotel managed to get electricians to fix it on a Sunday and gave us a free breakfast to boot, so cannot complain at all.

Property is situated perfectly to enjoy the incredible countryside. The value of the apartments is excellent for what you get, the enormous pool is absolutely wonderful and kept very clean! Was super convenient to be able to park close to our room. Found the wifi strong in the room. Bathroom was nice and looked to be fairly recently redone compared to rest of room. Enjoyed the size of the 2 story setup room. Location is perfect for viewing the scenic stops in between Montepulciano and Montalcino by car. Plenty of daytrip opportunities. FYI: 4 night minimum for better apartment rate just be mindful of difference in amenities with that booking style.

I rated this property a 9 as the location, surrounding countryside, value for the apartments outweigh the negatives but I do have a few negatives and had I paid considerably more my rating would be much lower to reflect the considerable negatives. The view seems like it should or would be better than it actually is, as there is always something obstructing the view. Whether that be a parking lot, other buildings, or trees blocking the scenery, etc.. I think the property is not laid out to reach it's fullest potential nor does it make a great impression outside of the main building and pool. The rooms are very dated and the bed was definitely in need of being replaced as could the rest of the furniture as well. Due to the bed being higher had to keep the air con on very cool to prevent the sleeping area from getting hot. The town of San Quirico is very close, but walking there does not seem very easy as it involves walking on a road not designed for walking. Be aware of the swim cap rule which is enforced. We packed and used one. Not sure if next door restaurant is same ownership or not but while impressive on the outside did not have a great dinner experience so would not recommend. We added breakfast (not included with the apartment rate) a couple of mornings and had mixed feelings. Overall you can get enough to eat but only average at best and they really seemed to frown on allowing people to take their breakfast to any of the numerous open air tables on property which when Covid is still around sounds quite odd to keep everyone in an enclosed breakfast room with no windows when the weather was beautiful and there are a dozen outdoor tables unoccupied. Had it been setup better to enjoy the outdoors at breakfast we would have added the breakfast each morning.

Great, clean place, very nice modern furnished apartment and also the outside area very tastefully decorated. The houses are clustered with terraces, greenery and walking paths in between for a lovely ambiance. Very nice large pool with diving board, and with a fantastic view over the Tuscan landscape. Lovely adjacent, affordable restaurant. Within just 5 minutes walking distance from the adorable village for an evening walk and to get some delicious ice cream in the evening. Would recommend it.

The use of the wellness center ( indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna ) was not included in the price. Quite a surprise and did not expected to pay extra for it since we thought we booked including the facility Wellness Center. The acces to the wellness could be reserved though for one hour for no less than 30 euro per adult. The noisiness of the apartments can be a problem for light sleepers. When the neighbors used the steel staircase to the void we could hear every step of it in our apartment ( construction design failure ). Also the shower of the neighbours we heard. Something a pair of earplugs did fix.

This is an excellent, well run hotel. Both the hotel and swimming pool have a superb panoranic view over the southern Tuscan hills. Swimming pool and its surrounds are excellent - well maintained. Apartments are comfortable, though somewhat old fashioned. Staff are efficient and helpful. Adjacent restaurant offers a good Tuscan menu, food is well cooked and served, value is excellent and the views from the terrace are wonderful.

Kitchen was fine, but had limited equipment and there were no 'starter' supplies (except for chargeable mini-bar). Apartments are not serviced at all during stays, however long. Fresh bed linen, towels, toiletries only supplied when requested (and somewhat reluctantly) mid-way during nine night stay.

Within a 10min walk from city and restaurants. Kitchen.

We expected a view from our terrace. But the onlyv view was the parking with cars. Garden side rooms even worse. No daily cleaning of the room.
