We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, modern farmhouse! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved having access to the lake, along with the private pool, hot tub, and easy-to-use outdoor gas fire pit. The house was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, and appliances, including two refrigerators, two dishwashers, and a large stove—perfect for preparing large family meals. We also appreciated the abundance of pool and bath towels, as well as the provided toiletries and laundry supplies.
The only minor drawback was access to the lakefront, which was down a hill on a private drive. The lakefront also had weeds that made it tricky to use our e-foil board, and the shallow water required us to go slowly when using the motor boats. However, this didn't take away from our overall experience. Alan was an amazing host. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway!

The house was stunning and big. The hit of the experience was the wonderful pool that my grandchildren loved. If I had one complaint it would be the bedding- some of the mattresses were stained and the sheets were quite flimsy. The location was great and we had a great family vacation

Our stay at this beautiful property was so enjoyable, we already booked it for 2025!
The home is situated on Canandaigua Lake with lake views and access to the two kayaks provided at the well built dock. Daily kayaking was a delight as was using the hot tub and swimming in the cleanest pool we have ever had at a rental. The grounds are inviting and provide restful views from the many lake facing windows.
Without a doubt, this is the best rental my group of ten adults has enjoyed in the Finger Lakes. Great quality throughout, a gourmet’s well stocked kitchen, and five minute drives to stores and restaurants…and ice cream shops!
Treat yourself to a respite from day to day life and enjoy this Canandaigua Lake retreat. We can’t wait to go back!

The house was gorgeous, and even better than described. The weather was a little bit cool so we spent a lot of time around the fire pit! The kids loved the pool and we had huge family wiffleball games in the front yard!
Alan was just a phone call away if we had any questions and we would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting Canandaigua !!

We had a wonderful time!!! The gorgeous farmhouse was ideal for our family of 16. ( 8 adults & 8 children). Our 8 grandchildren range in ages of 1-13 and it was perfect! They loved the pool and the front lawn great for lawn games! There was plenty of room to spread out in the house and the kitchen fully equipped and large enough for several of us to prepare meals. We met Alan & Brooke ( the owners) who were delightful and quick to respond to our questions.
It truly was a special time for our family!

Our family gathered from all around the country to enjoy this gorgeous house for a week. We had ample room and all the amenities we needed. The pool area is immaculate, and the hot tub was great. We enjoyed visits from fawns and deer, and especially enjoyed the show from the fireflies after dark.
The screened in porch was so great to have.
Bring your water shoes to the lake, and plan to enjoy the water. We all had a lovely time in a lovely setting. Thank you!

WOW! The pictures do not do this property justice- it really is so beautiful. I stayed with a group of 15 for my friend's Bachelorette celebration and this house had enough beds, bathrooms, and amenities to make the weekend spectacular. The booking process was easy and everyone at Lupton was extremely friendly and kind- especially Kailey who provided suggestions and was incredible throughout the whole process!
While the house was 5 stars- I would suggest to provide some more toilet paper (only 2 rolls in each bathroom) when servicing a larger group. By the final morning everyone was using the master bathroom because there was no more toilet paper. Also only provided with one roll of paper towels- these just seem like basic things you can easily provide especially when paying $$$ per night.
Also- pool workers come every Friday at 2 PM- which is awesome as they cleaned and serviced the pool for our group- but we would've loved more of a heads up (even just a text the day before) as we were all down by the pool when they came.
Overall- it was a great experience and if you are looking for a house that truly defines beauty and the excellence of the Finger Lakes- this should be on your list!

Stayed with extended family for a wedding in Rochester (12 in all). An absolutely gorgeous house and property. Usually, pictures can be hit or miss, in this case the description and pictures are spot on and then some. A big plus was the good sized fenced in backyard area as we had the family dog with us. Directions for all amenities are descriptive and well thought out. Communication with owner was great. Gathered in the incredible oversized kitchen, around the firepit and enjoyed walks to the lake (a little too cool to use the pool but looked awesome). Played lawn games in the oversized side yard and all in all had a wonderful stay.

We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from college. We had 10-people total from 20 to 80-yrs. It was perfect place for us and had plenty room. We would definitely come back. Note the property does have waterfront access, but it is a walk down the road.

Family from Chicago, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Jersey and New Hampshire all came together in this beautiful home for a family reunion. We enjoyed the fire pit, and nice hot tub soaks while enjoying the beautiful view. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Location was perfect for trips to Watkins Glen, Niagara Falls, Lake Ontario and Rochester. We all enjoyed it and would come back again!

A lovely property with lots of space to spread out. The kitchens are amazing. Only suggestions are:
Have Coffee and tea available for first mornings brewing.
Have more than one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and at lease one extra roll of paper towels.
We didn't see the bath towels on the porch until the last morning and were short of towels.
I couldn't find a tablespoon measuring spoon.
the late check in (4 PM) makes it feel like we lost half a day for what we paid for.
We all have hot tubs and felt this one was not clean or needed the filter changed as there was small white stuff mixed in with the water.

Gorgeous home with lots of character. Owners we’re great to work with. Would stay there again. However, the dock is a decent walk down the road and I didn’t realize it wasn’t connected to the property by viewing the listing. Highly recommend if you do t expect to have lake access right from the house.

My 2 sisters and I rented this amazing property for a cousin reunion. It had been nine years since our last one. People came from NYC, Florida, California, Greece NY and Pittsford NY. We enjoyed the heated pool, the fire pit and the dock on Canandaigua down the road. The house was impeccably furnished and very comfortable.

The house was easily big enough for 8 adults and 6 children. It was very clean. We loved the huge kitchen with two dishwashers and two islands. The pool was perfect and quite large. Loved the ping pong table. The only down side is that it is a 5 minute walk through another property to get to the small dock and the water is filled with aquatic plants-not at all swimmable. A very small murky entry into the lake if you want to kayak. Two people used the kayaks twice. Otherwise, the house was perfect with lots of beds for our large family.

Beautiful spacious house convenient to town and lake with nice private pool. I had two adult daughters and their spouse/fiances and grandchild and everyone had a nice private room. Some had to work during stay and they could always find a nook to disappear. Kitchen was very modern and well-equipped.

This was a beautiful, spacious home which was just what we needed for our large family. The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. The home was very clean and decorated. We enjoyed playing games and reading on the screened in porch. The hot tub, fire pit and pool were enjoyed also. We did rent a boat to enjoy the lake. The host, Alan was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place to vacation.

The property/house is absolutely beautiful! From the moment we all stepped in it felt like home. We didn’t want to leave.
It was immaculate! I usually don’t walk around in my bare feet except at home but here I did as I said it felt like home!

Our family of 12 rented this house located near the northern part of the Canandaigua Lake. Great location near boat rentals, restaurants, ice cream stands, and parks - we went to all of them ! The house, the pool, the hot tub were all incredibly clean. The bedrooms were nice size and the upstairs bedrooms have additional A/C units which were great. The overly large kitchen has 2 dishwashers. 2 trash cupboards, and 2 large countertops. Tons of kitchen gadgets, small appliances and utensils - you won’t need to bring a thing ! One thing not mentioned in the property listing is that entire backyard is fenced in! A really nice surprise- great if you are bringing a pet like we did. There are also plenty of beach towels for the pool and hot tub so leave yours home ! We washed the towels only once ( laundry room is great ) We drove to 3 nearby wineries on the rainy days. My favorite part was all the large gathering spaces for our family to sit around the pool. The fire pit. The family room and dining spaces. The owner/host has instructions thru out the house which made using the hot tub and fire pit easy. I would highly recommend-especially for big families !

We had a fantastic stay at this historic property that easily accommodated our large group of 6 adults and 8 young kids. The house was immaculately clean, charming, and well-maintained. The spacious kitchen was a standout feature, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor amenities such as the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and screened porch with a TV. Almost everything we needed was provided, and the property's convenient location near commercial areas and the historic downtown area made shopping a breeze. We loved the quick walk to the lake and had a great time using the dock and kayaks. The host was incredibly attentive, responsive, and helpful, ensuring that our entire experience from booking to departure was smooth. We're already excited about the possibility of returning in the future.

Our stay was wonderful! We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 young kids and the property was accommodating that we barely left.
The house is historic, but clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. There was plenty of space, (especially the kitchen!) and the outdoor amenities (pool, hot tub, fire pit, screened porch with TV) were a hit.
The house provided almost everything you could need, so you only need to bring yourself and personal items. But the location is so convenient that you can go to Wegman's and Walmart for anything.
Not only is the property near the commercial area, it's right by the historic/downtown area and city pier. The lake is a very short walk from the house and the dock and kayaks were great to have access to.
The host was so accommodating, responsive, and helpful that he made our stay an easy process from booking to departure.
I would definitely stay here again and looking forward to it!

The house and amenities were spectacular! Alan was so easy to reach and respond. We hope to return in nicer weather to really get to enjoy the beauty of the property and area. Only recommendation would be to put a blind on the master bathroom window near the deck and a door to this same bathroom. It was a wonderful experience!

We had a great weekend in this spacious home that easily accommodates 10 people. You could get lost in this house with all the bedrooms and places to sleep. The kitchen - actually two kitchens in one - is huge with all the necessary appliances and accessories. .
The firepit was awesome - we had great times in the evenings sitting around drinking our wine talking about the day's events. The view from the dock was so scenic and peaceful. There is so much more the home offers: a covered covered porch dining area, a swing and rocking chairs on the front porch, the pool (in Summer), and life on the lake (the dock and the kayaks).
The host was quick to respond to questions and issues - the living room fireplace was not working on our arrival and he was over within a half hour with fresh batteries to get it started!
A real gem of a getaway to share with family and/or friends.

Alan’s spot was exactly what we were looking for when planning a family vacation. Plenty of space to host, enjoy the outdoors and great bed rooms. Feels like a home away from home! Alan was helpful and incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be recommend and hope to stay there again!

A group of friends rented this beautiful home for the week after Labor Day. It is a lovely historic house that was very large and gave our group of 8 adults plenty of space to spread out yet come together in the common areas. The bar was a perfect area for appetizers and drinks in the evening. The beautiful kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals and eat them on the screened in porch. (The dining room we used for puzzles) We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub at night. Overall, it was a great week, and the house served as the perfect location for us to explore all the area had to offer.

An amazing property with all the amenities. Spacious, quiet and perfect for a large group. The layout of the bedrooms allowed for privacy while the spectacular kitchen was the hub and hangout spot when we weren’t in the pool or exploring the town. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed here with 3 families with a variety of ages. The house was very clean and the property manager Alan was amazing and very accommodating and always answered the phone or called back quickly. This is a gem! Beautiful home in a great location.
This does not feel like a rental. Well stocked with everything you need. It feels like you borrowed a home from a friend. Nicely decorated and close to many great restaurants and attraction all in a beautiful setting.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful sprawling home and had fun cooking in the chef's dream of a kitchen! The kids spent the week swimming in the pool and kayaking the lake. This a great property!

Great time was had by all. The kitchen was amazing and very well stocked as far as cooking utensils and dishes. Loved the pool, hot tub, lake access and the gas fire pit. My only complaint was the sleeping arrangements. Should have more queen size instead of doubles. Great time was had by all 18 of us!!

Family enjoyed the large house, pool and covered porch for game nights. Great location to everything. House was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. Not much of a view of lake, but it wasn't a priority for us. Rented a boat and dock was easy to get to. Owner very easy to communicate with and quick in his responses.

Great Family Vacation Home
All of the amenities made our family vacation wonderful. The pool and the hot tub were very popular and the stroll to the lake gave nice opportunities for leisurely walks and access to kayaking and fishing.
The house provided many living spaces for relaxing, family game playing and dining. The large kitchen and grilling area made meal preparation very convenient. All the bedrooms and bathrooms easily accommodated all 16 members of our family. The house was meticulously clean and very nicely decorated with antiques and vintage inspired accessories emphasizing its history.
The owner was very accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. All 16 of us highly recommend this vacation home.

Beautiful property ideal for a large family
Beautiful property with huge, well equipped kitchen, amazing outdoor gathering spaces, screened porch, heated swimming pool, hot tub and gas fire pit. Master suite is spectacular. Plenty of beds- though a couple are awkwardly placed. As long as you understand the layout and have some people who are ok with semi private sleeping spaces, this rental is ideal!
