We absolutely loved it! The location was amazing with a beautiful window overlooking the downtown mall. We went to many restaurants and two shows just steps away. The room was beautiful and super clean. The decor and amenities were just right. Checkin and checkout was effortless. Quick responses from hosts, even after hours. Any future visits to Charlottesville will definitely include staying at the Jefferson!

From the musty smell upon entering the room to the stained carpet and generally tired/dirty looking furniture, the property just wasn't clean enough to warrant a repeat stay.

Was in for a show at the Jefferson, the proximity can't be beaten. The check-in process was super easy, and being right on the mall made for a nice evening of walking around and seeing things before the show.

The very best location and so so cool!
We absolutely loved this rental. Obviously the location is where it SHINES but there’s more. It’s so comfortable and well furnished-like your super stylish friend’s studio apartment. It’s very clean, has mostly everything you need, a wonderful bathroom and shower and it even has the sound (Bluetooth speaker) to go with it.
I highly recommend this apartment for anyone (single, couple or small family) who wants enjoy the downtown mall all while staying in a uniquely charming place.

Perfect location!!! Great communication to fully explain parking location, necessary key codes, check-in check-out. Absolutely fabulous decor, comfort, and spotlessly clean! Will visit again next time I am in Charlottesville!

Hard to imagine finding a more centrally-located room in downtown Charlottesville that is this nice. Clean, uncluttered and comfortable. The only downsides to the room were: 1) no luggage rack or other place to put your clothes--the suitcase had to sit on the floor, 2) the air conditioning unit points right at the bed and there was no obvious way to redirect the airflow in a different direction.
Proximity to the parking deck was also fantastic and made it easy to get in and out.

I met some friends for a winery visit and shopping. It was a perfect venue with lots to do. The suite was amazing! Would recommend it highly!

Lovely room, great location. I would prefer a door between the sleeping area and the living room, but it works. Nespresso machine was a nice touch, but we were only given 3 pods for 2 nights. I wish there was an ice machine or water fountain. The tap water is very warm and not pleasant to drink.

Was a nice room with lots of great features and a view of the mall. Great spot to stay and lots of good restaurants around you.

We were so happy about our stay. Only complaint was that there was not toilet paper when we arrived. Other than that no complaints!

Great location. Convenient to great shops and restaurants. Loved looking out on the mall thru large Palladium window. Was informed it was a walk up and there was no convenient parking. So if you have heavy cases or a lot of gear probably not the best. Room could use a coffee pot and Kleenex. Would definitely recommend and would return if back in the area.
