Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Apartment mit der traumhaften Terrasse. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen obwohl wir viel früher als gedacht beim Check-In waren. Uns wurde alles sehr nett erklärt und gezeigt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Sie ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hier trifft Design auf Funktionalität. Top! Die Betten sind sehr bequem, es sind genügend Handtücher und Bettwäsche zum Wechseln vorhanden und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Strand, Restaurants und der Ortskern sind nur in wenigen Laufminuten entfernt. Bis aufs Wochenende findet man immer leicht einen Parkplatz auf der Straße. Man sollte seine Ausflüge daher besser unter der Woche vornehmen. Die pittoresken Städte Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Noto und Syracusa sind leicht zu erreichen und machen daher Marina Ragusa zu einem idealen Ausgangspunkt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Giorgio è un ottimo host, ci ha consigliato locali e zone balneari dove passare bei momenti. La casa è molto curata e attrezzata a qualsiasi esigenza. È caldamente consigliato il noleggio bici per non perdere tempo nella ricerca dei posti auto.

Una location meravigliosa. Posizione perfetta per dimenticarsi dell'auto. Tutto raggiungibile a piedi, spiagge, ristoranti, negozi tutto! Consiglio vivamente il soggiorno.

Lovely flat as described, lovely furniture & decor-Nice walking shower room- Welcome pack of fruits left on arrival - We really enjoyed Marina di Ragusa - The piazzetta is charming lovely cafes & i cream parlour - we had a really nice time- The only minus is the wifi but it’s awful all over Sicily- We never got to meet Guenter - but Sylvana was charming -

We rented both Casa Aurora and Vespro. Both wonderful views of Marina. We also rented Vespro last year so came back as we loved it . In both apartments the spec is high but lacking decent bedroom lighting and plugs for gadgets. We would rent Vespro again but NOT Aurora due to very uncomfortable furniture in living area and unbelievable noise from road maintenance just outside, garden maintenance, and a VERY noisy bar. Last few days also noise from neighbours all together making it impossible on occasions to stay in either apartment. Disappointing but hoping not on going.

Very nice apartment with all necessary facilities. Lovely view of the marina and easy walk to beach and restaurants. Perfect for touring the area. We visited Noto, Syracusa, Marzamemi and Modica. Guenter very helpful and on hand if needed.

We had a fabulous stay in this most amazing place, the view from the balcony overlooked the harbour and the beach, bars and restaurants were all in easy reach with a short walk. The resort was buzzing at night and had plenty of restaurant choice at a very reasonable price too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this fantasy apartment and also the location. To see the nearby towns such as Modica , Ragusa, Noto and Siracusa a car is definitely required and certainly worth a visit.

Cet appartement est un pur bonheur! De la demande d'information à notre départ tout à été parfait. Les indications de Giulia, puis les échanges avec Gunter et l'accueil de Giorgio. Nous étions 5, 2 adultes et 3 enfants de 6, 10 et 11 ans. L'appartement est pratique, accueillant et vraiment bien décoré. On s'y sent bien tout de suite. La luminosité de ses grandes baies vitrées, les lits très confortables et tous les ustensiles ont fait que chacun de nous 5 se sentait bien. Vous traversez la route et soit vous flânez dans le port soit vous avez une agréable promenade le long de la plage et des palmiers. Nous recommandons bien évidemment l'appartement en attendant de pouvoir y retourner. Gunter, Giorgio é stato veramente un piacere.

Schöne, modern eingerichtet Ferienwohnung mit überwältigendem Ausblick auf den Yachthafen von Marina di Ragusa. Eine besondere Überraschung war das Begrüßungsgeschenk von Günter: Obstteller, Oliven, Mandeln, Rotwein, Käse. Auch für Kaffee und Milch war gesorgt. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet: Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist durch eine asiatische Tür vom Wohnraum getrennt, alle Schlafzimmer sind groß mit üppigem Schrankplatz. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der riesige Balkon mit Blick auf den Yachthafen von Marina di Ragusa, der Balkon hat ganztags Sonne und ist mit elektrischen Sonnensegeln ausgestattet, abends kann man bei einem Glas Wein den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Parkplätze gibt es direkt am Yachthafen oder in der Seitenstraße, kleine Geschäfte sind fußläufig über die Strandpromenade zu erreichen, ein Supermarkt befindet in ca. 2 km Entfernung. Das Wetter ist Ende November im Süden Siziliens mit um die 20 °C tagsüber mild und gut für Besichtigungen geeignet. Viele kulturelle Highlights sind in 1 bis 2 Stunden mit dem Auto zu erreichen, besonders gut haben uns Syrakus, Taormina, Villa Casale (Piazza Armerina) und Agrigent gefallen, auch Noto ist einen Besuch wert.

Met Guenter, as arranged, and he took us into this absolutely stunning apartment. Massive windows and wrap around balcony linked with a most fantastic view of the Marina and the sea - what a way to eat breakfast !! There are many fine restaurants within easy walking distance, and also mini and large supermarkets. Guenter was incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and the welcome pack he personally provided was both elegant and very tasty. All in all - very highly recommendable !

We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks, top location with stunning view, the welcome pack given by the host set the pace for the rest of our time in this beautiful corner of Sicily, when we did have an issue with the electricity ( it is Sicily after all) our host was on hand in no time and fixed it. Highly recommended if you want to discover holidays the Italian style, spend all day on the beautiful beach and spend the evening and night in one of the many bars, restaurants on the sea front.

Apartment was modern, spacious, clean had everything we needed, nice welcome basket of wine, cheese, fruit, salami etc. Great view lovely to sit out on the balcony for breakfast and evening drinks. Very few foreign tourists mainly Italians which was nice, restaurants are very reasonable but mainly sea food and pizza you need to book for Saturday night as the town gets very busy with locals. Good long beach with many cafes, many sites/temples and Baroc towns to see but you need a car

Very clean, spacious, beautiful apartment and great setting. We took morning walks along the marina, up to the next village to the west and into town. The apartment is set up with excellent linens, kitchen equipment and comfortable furnishings. It is light and opens on to a large deck with a great view. The town has a fun selections of restaurants and great people watching. We loved our week there.

As we pulled up outside the apartment, all we could say was 'wow, we have arrived' - a small town square right on the marina front. Stunning! We were met by Guenter, who so kindly helped us up one flight of stairs with our luggage. Casa Aurora is a stunningly beautiful apartment; modern, bright and spacious with a touch of contemporary, incorporating some eye catching design features. Especially the Blue Indian Doors to the main bedroom, Everywhere was spotlessly clean, plus well equipped - the kitchen containing enough crockery & glasses to entertain a party, to providing every comfort for your stay - including beach towels. The bedrooms were large and had more than ample space for all your clothes. The beds very comfortable. Guenter had so thoughtfully provided an array of fruits (some from his own garden) nuts, cheese, biscuits and wine, so that you could just kick of your shoes and enjoy your first evening sitting on the terrace watching life unfold on the square beneath. Water, milk and coffee for the espresso machine were also waiting for you. Casa Aurora is entered though a delightful courtyard garden which has a table & chairs beneath a tree which provides shade from the hot sun should you feel the need to escape to a cool area. The beach is a mere 3 minutes walk, but for those who wish to relax in private can do so on loungers on the expansive terrace. Parking is right outside your door or in the square in the front, but on a Saturday and Sunday the 'must be seen crowd' hunt for spaces from around 6.00pm onward, so park early on these days. The apartment has its own ADSL router, not shared, so it is fast and reliable and signal strength is excellent. We quickly realized that Marina di Ragusa is 'THE PLACE' to meet & be seen! From the 7am joggers, walkers and cyclists (all very quiet ) to the 'sunset crowd' - those just rendezvousing for an evening walk and stroll around the marina. Many families, young children as well as the 'Those wanting to be seen' - but it was all very quiet, orderly and peaceful. There was no night time noise to disturb a good nights sleep. Step out of your apartment and you could choose from a variety of bars or restaurants. An evening walk along the wonderful seafront was a delight. Would we recommend this place - oh yes !! Would we return - in an instant. Our hosts were 5 star in the accommodation they provided in a 1st class setting. Will we back. try and stop us. :)

The apartment was fantastic, at least as good as the photos. It was comfortable, spacious and equipped to a very high standard. On arrival, we were greeted with a table full of local produce which was very welcome and fed us all for the day. The location, overlooking the harbour, was a perfect place to relax after a day on the beach or out sightseeing. There is a large deck furnished with comfortable loungers and a good size table. In the evening , when it cooled down, the glass windows still provided a great view Highly recommended .

The owner was wonderful and the "snack" that was provided for our late check in was incredible. The apartment's location was superb, overlooking the Marina and included parking. We enjoyed the apartment immensely and can't wait to go back!
