Excellently furnished and well decorated.

No information on how to work the hob.No channels on TV and no info. how to work the TV.
Are the fires not to be used?
Could do with a few more kitchen utensils.
Not suitable for elderly as stairs very steep and steps very narrow.
Information on how to work a dishwasher but no dishwasher there.
My friend broke her necklace in twin bedroom and when she got home realised a charm was missing. If it is fou d please contact me.

Really great location in the centre of the village, close to shops and restaurants as well as lovely walks straight from your door. Clean and comfy house, good selection of crockery and kitchen equipment not that we did any cooking. Reasonable size double room and big twin room, good size bathroom with a decent shower over the bath, love a bath! Plenty of hot water. Lots of storage if you were there for a week you could unpack and have plenty of room. Nice touches on arrival like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits as well as a few games and decent tv. Good communication with the host.
Lots of air fresheners which were very over powering, but easily solved we just put them outside.
We couldn't open the upstairs windows, don't know if they just needed a firmer hand but as it wasn't hot we didn't worry.
Would really have liked thicker curtains or blinds in the front bedroom as a street light just outside made the room very light.

The location was perfect for us as we were visiting some of my partners family in Whalley and it was walking distance from everything we needed.
The house was lovely and clean, perfect for the 4 of us. Kitchen was well equipped. Check in was very easy as communication was great.
We would definitely stay here again upon our next visit.

The cottage was lovely, really well appointed, roomy and warm. the location was perfect for us as we were visiting friends in the village, with lovely views and walking distance to the village with lots of shops and eateries.
it would have been nice to be able to use the log burner which is pictured but there was no logs or way to use it. we would have also wanted to use the washing machine which was locked so that was a shame, but other than that everything was perfect.

Our stay at the cottage was very comfortable - could not have been better!
Well furnished to a high standard and fully equipped- we felt very much at home there.
Beds and towels changed and a clean half way through our stay was a welcome touch.
Local amenities all close by and great transport links make Whalley a good base for exploring the beautiful Ribble Valley area.
Highly recommended.

The location of the accommodation was central to the village, with a wide range of small shops, Restaurants, Takeaway's, with a selection of various pubs, not forgetting the breathtaking scenery.

the cooker hob was impossible to work could have done with a instruction card but that is being a bit picky. it is a lovely place in an very comfortable, cozy and welcoming

refurbished and very nicely maintained property...everything was fully functional, no issues and got prompt responses from owner.

the property is well located and the host was excellent. inside was clean and welcoming. there was also an enclosed rear patio which was nice especially with my dogs. parking is more difficult but there was always parking within 300m of the property but it’s on the main road with limited bays. we didn’t have a problem with parking but it is a good note. our stay was lovely and the host is quick to respond and communicate and was very accommodating. we had a great stay :)

Location is excellent (except parking) with easy access to restaurants, pubs and great walking.
Beds were comfortable and kitchen was small but well equipped.
No bedside table or lights in room with double bed (room is quite narrow for size of bed), twin bed room is much larger.
No guaranteed parking and the road outside is quite busy so parking car was a bit of a lottery.

Well equipped property, a good size. Convenient for local facilities, and good access to surrounding areas.
On a busy road, parking in the village was restricted or chargeable. It was quite cool in the evening but we were not able to put the central heating on as it was hive controlled and we did not have access to this. There was a log burner but no logs.

These are only minor suggestions. Lacking in some basic items such as corkscrew, salt and pepper in provided pots, wooden spoons/spatula. Front bedroom could use a blackout blind like rear due streetlight.
