The place was very well stocked with everything we needed for a family and children, There were plenty of areas for the kids to play sports and lots of space for everyone to have their own time. Great property this is our 2nd time here and we will keep coming back as it is so convenient and exceptionally well looked after.

In winter I don't think you should have rugs on the floor in common areas or at the front door, it rained heavily on day one and there was a lot of mud around the property, especially at the fire pit where it was clay mud. Hence, we are a respectful family and were conscious of not bringing dirt into the house on the runner or rugs. There was no vacuum so we had to use the broom a lot at the front door ;-). But those were tiny issues compared to the amazing house

The homestead was very spacious and accommodated the entire family of 13 comfortably - there was enough T & B , spacious kitchen, large dining area to celebrate the 2 birthdays. The fireplace was a good addition to our family's reunion. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit in Wine Country - Balloon flight, vineyard and farm visit, weekend market etc.. My family especially those visiting from overseas had a grand time.

Bigger and more conspicuous signage and lighting from the highway to the dirt road leading up to the homestead - we kept missing the road especially in the late afternoon and evening when it was dark. Would have been perfect if hot water didn't ran out on our last day.

A great house in a great central location close to lots of local vineyards. Very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a range of indoor and outdoor common areas for eating and relaxing.The wood burner was a welcome bonus. Great to have a separate bed for all 9 of our group of retired friends. Bathroom facilities excellent. Highly recommended.

needs a bit of upkeep, paving considered dangerous to walk on. 2 bbqs and no bbq utensils. property managed through Weekenda, you get bombarded with emails and txt.

The location was great, but we thought the Blaxlands Inn was part of the Blaxlands Homestead and assumed we would be able go there for a bite to eat at 5pm on Saturday afternoon. We were told they were full (the place was empty), so we ended up hungry with nowhere to go on Saturday. We booked Goldfish the night before, but there was nothing on the Blaxland website that they were not accepting customers at the Inn.

It was fine, just the bathrooms could have been a lot more modern for the price. Extremely old school.
