the cabins are lovely, the breakfast was banging and everyone working in there was super friendly.

the only downer is it’s hard to find. Google Maps has it marked in the wrong place so it’s best to get a lift there when you first arrive. When you know where it is, getting to and from town takes 10 mins and feels super safe.

This was quite honestly the most lovely stay we have had in Colombia! The owner and the chef were so kind and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was to an extremely high standard, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we also ate dinner there one night - it was so incredibly delicious!! We cannot recommend this accommodation enough. Thank you for the most wonderful stay!

Everything was perfect

Everyone who works here is just friendly and so helpful, the breakfast was super delicious and I really loved my stay in this beautiful cabanas. There is a terrace in front of the room, where you can look into a nice green garden area and enjoy a cold beer... It‘s also not that far away from the center with bars / shops and just about 10 minutes walk to the dock. Thank you Team of Cabanas Luna Escondida!

The area is hard to find with maps.me, so maybe a description after the booking including some pictures of the way would be great :)

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! The cook made the most amazing breakfast we have had in Colombia! The room was comfy and very pretty and so was the bathroom! Super clean!

Bit far away from town and not super easy to find!

A peaceful oasis close to town but far enough out to feel calm and hear the jungle. Everyone was extremely welcoming, food was delicious and we even extended our trip by a couple of days.

I would give 12 stars if possible. John and Georg were so nice, it was incredible. John was picking us up at the dock when we arrived with the boat from Necocli. And later he even took us around Capurgana and to the natural swiming pools and on another day he helped us to explore the way to Aguacate. He gave us many tips where and how we can go. The hostel is a bit outside, but therefore it is more quit. In 10 minutes you are at the dock and even faster at the first restaurants and bars. The food was really good. You can absolutley feel how Georg is cooking with passion. We even got invited for two very delicous dinners. The breakfast was very good and every day different. The hostel was designed by architects and you feel that. The garden and the Cabanas are very beautiful.
