Overall, we loved the location. We were concerned traveling into Ventura as there was flood but we weren’t affected. The itself provided what we needed.the listing said there was parking the garage but that wasn’t possible due to the bicycles, beach stuff, etc. the house furnishings were dated. The cushions on the front porch were soaked and dry out during the visit.

Great property and location, Well stocked, such as towels and household supplies. Only regret, had to leave so soon.

This cottage is about 4 houses away from silver strand beach. The beach is quiet, and this is at the quiet end. There is a lot packed into a small cottage. 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 baths and a delightful front patio. They supply plenty of both bath and beach towels, and there were extras of all the necessary supplies (trash bags paper towels etc). Very kind of Gary to leave wine for us!! We had one blip - a prior renter must have disposed of the blow dryer. This was replaces within a few hours once I drew the owners attention to it. Overall a fine experience. I would rent this unit again.

This was our second year at this property. Everything is clean and well maintained. The beach supplies are plentiful. The place feels cozy and roomy. Walking to the beach is great. Thank you!!!!! For another great vacation!!!!

We had a wonderful time! Everything was as listed; roomy, well-equipped, easy access. We love vacations at Silver Strand and this home suited us perfectly.

Great place for a family vacation. Very close to the beach. Garage full of bikes / chairs / wagon to rest and relax. Nice clean house. Try the local bar which is very close. Will stay again.

It's clear the owners want people to enjoy their stay. plenty of towels, wine, etc. neighbors were loud. location to beach is ideal.

The house is exactly as noted, plenty of space all the amenities you could ask for and need. The Hosts are very responsive and so pleasant to work with. This is our 2nd time here and will probably come again!

We had a really great time. The house was nice and clean. The only thing my son didn't like was the pull out bed. But the rest of the beds were great!

We stayed here two weeks and were especially appreciative of Gary and Joyce’s prompt responsiveness to our questions and needs. The beach here is one of the great secrets of Southern Calif. and if you have dogs, as we do, all the more special. House is a good price, not fancy, but very, very comfortable. Everything functions well and fully enclosed Front area — not really a yard - is very good for dogs. Neighbors are really nice people.

Everything was great! I appreciated that it was quiet . Very close to the beach. Exactly as advertised. Really appreciated all the toys (bikes, frisbees, etc), the beach chairs, the fully stocked kitchen, and the bottles of wine. One small suggestion would be to maybe put bunk beds in one of the spare bedrooms. I plan on renting the property again!!

Great house and packed well with everything you’d need for a beach visit! Kitchen is stocked with amenities as well as the bathrooms. Garage is full of bikes and beach supplies for guest’s enjoyment. Renter was quick with responses to questions and very accommodating. My family and I had a great time!

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but unfortunately it isn't fair to future renters not too. Starting with the good. The location is close to the beach and a lot of towels are provided. Now the bad. The property was NOT clean, the tub was dirty and had hairs in it (and needed to be re-cleaned). There weren't any trash bags. The baseboards look like they have not been cleaned in months, along with the floor and by the fridge. The living room smelled faintly like smoke. When we sat on the couches we all felt immediately itchy. There were stains on some of the pillow cases, towels and the couch cover. There was a lot of noise from the base very early in the morning, sounded like jet engines at 4am, we could not get a good nights sleep. The beds themselves were cheap and it was impossible to get up without waking the other person because of the creaking. There is a sky light in one of the bed rooms. Dead bugs on the floor. The place was obviously not cleaned before our stay. It felt like the least amount of money was spent to maintain the property. Half the windows are older style, single pane and aluminum. Lastly be careful if you have young ones, the water is very hot and it will burn them if not careful. Im sorry but we just cant recommend this place for the various reasons above.

The place was very clean. It seemed quite spacious. Lots of beach paraphernalia was included. We could see the beach from the front yard. It was a short walk to the sand. We had great weather. The street was quiet and the kids were able to play ball, tag, etc in the street because there was minimal traffic.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is just a minute walk to the beach and was very roomy and comfortable. Gary was very helpful with any of our needs.

Host is so easy to work with, responds very fast. House is exactly as described I was pleasantly surprised how spacious the home is! Newer appliances in kitchen, minutes to the beach. I will definitely try to come back again. Highly recommend this property

This cozy beach community house was a nice relaxing place to stay for my family for the week. Very short walking distance to the beach. And it had everything we needed.

This little beach house is older but charming and perfect for a family. Close to the beach and they have lots of supplies to make your time at the beach enjoyable.
