We had a lovely stay; people loved the little arcade in the basement as well as the sauna. There's a great swing set at the edge of the property that looks out into a marsh and it's so beautiful to just sit there and enjoy nature.

Rita was super communicative from the beginning, responsive to all my questions prior and when we arrive, which was greatly appreciated! The home itself was perfect for our family and the lower level game room entertained my kids all weekend! The outdoor set up was perfect for our grilling and smore-making needs. Loved having the extra lights so we could see what we were doing post fire too! The girls loved exploring the property and with all other activities close by, it was an easy and fun filled weekend. Would rent again!

This owner is very responsive. Like within minutes Rita would answer my questions. Great house and lots of games… mortal kombat was not working sadly. Kids had a great time. The ski hill wasn’t opened yet but we still had a good time. Not much going on in this area if it isn’t skiing or lake season but that wasn’t a surprise. Clean house and welcome treats were provided. Highly recommend for the Poconos.

The owners were extremely responsive to our questions. The house is set up nicely for families with kids; the included sports equipment (fishing rods!) were very convenient! We appreciated that the bed linens are included and we didn't have to pack any sheets. The game room was a big hit with our grandkids. The only disappointment was that the 2nd bathroom is in the basement, not on the 2nd floor near the bedrooms. Not a huge deal though, we made it work. We really enjoyed the fire pit - great for smores' night!

Property had lots of fun activities, arcade games for the kids and having bikes and kayaks made it very nice. Firepit was great and had plenty of wood cut to use. Beds were comfortable. Wish it were closer to the lake. Neighborhood was safe for walking. Thought the cleaning fee on top of the POA fee was rather high as we thought house was stuffy upon arrival and outside tables and chairs had to be swept off before using. Working with home owner was easy and she was very helpful.

We had 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) and it was just perfect. The games room was a highlight for sure and the other one was the fire pit, which was gorgeous. Perhaps the best part of our stay was communication with the host. I must have asked 20 questions and all were answered straight away. The quickness of the responses made our stay very enjoyable. We had a very nice stay of 5 nights at this property. We have 3 kids (8, 6, 2) who had a great time with the games on the lowest floor of the cabin. The pool and lake areas were within biking distance and the host was nice enough to leave the passes to use these areas. Another favorite aspect of this property was the fire pit area. It is a gated community, which adds a different element to the stay. There is a community feel, but also many regulations to be aware of during the stay. The host was great and very communicative. Off the hideout property is a nearby grocery store and farm stands. Otherwise it is generally rural so we ended up largely enjoying the house and hideout property. Other attractions in the Poconos are up to an hour or more away for a day trip outside of the gates.

Great weekend away. House had a mountain/cabin feel with excellent outdoor scenery, fire pit area, and wildlife. Game room was perfect for the kids. Good lake fishing a couple lots away, and decent restaurants nearby. Home owners communicated effectively and were responsive upon request. We had an enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very spacious and has a lot to offer. The kitchen is outdated so if you want to do a lot of cooking, consider bringing stuff from home. We would definitely love to come back.

Our family of 2 adults and 4 young children had a great stay at Rita's beautiful house. Both the kids and adults have really enjoyed the game room. Just awesome!
My group of 7 had so much fun in and around this home! We enjoyed the spacious, private outdoors, playing games, having fires and relaxing. I thought there would be a lot of bugs, but we were fine! The basement game room is just fantastic for all ages! We also used the kayak and paddle board at the lake next door, which was beautiful. The hideout amenities were an added bonus, too. Rita is a great host and we will definitely be back! Thanks, Rita!

Clean, fun and comfy
We enjoyed our stay , it was clean, beds were comfy, game room was awesome. The only issue we had was the amenities of the hideout, No snow tubing, ice skating and we chose this place 1. because it had a big house and gameroom but 2.we didn’t have to leave the hideout area that was not true. We had to travel to do snow tubing the owner was very nice and helped answer all our questions. We would stay again if in summer not for winter.

Great place to escape
We stayed at the Treehouse Thanksgiving week. It was a great place for our family of seven to get away and relax for the week. The house was clean when we arrived. Check-in instructions were clear and communication with Rita was timely. The weather was a bit cold and rainy (and snowy) but we had plenty to do inside like playing ping pong, board games, and watching TV by the fireplace. If we ever stay in the area again, we would go back to the Treehouse.

Wonderful family getaway
We had a great time at the Treehouse. Everything others have written were spot on. Rita was very responsive and helpful with suggestions and it was a very easy and smooth communication process all along. The house was immaculate, very comfortable and incredibly well-equipped. Family get away
My wife and our 2 boys loved our stay. Rita was very easy to work with, the house was perfect, and the amenities were above and beyond. We had kayaks, fishing gear, a fire pit, a wooded yard to explore, ping pong, board games, everything and anything you could want. And we used them all. It was exactly what we were looking for. My wife summed it up perfectly after being there for just a few hours when she said…” I haven’t been this relaxed in over a year”. Thank you Rita. This is just what we needed.

Fall weekend
We had a great time at the Treehouse. The weather was a bit damp so we didn’t get to enjoy all the outdoor amenities but we were very comfortable inside. The beds and couch were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed, and the kids really enjoyed the games in the basement. Would definitely return!

Great weekend
The house was very nice, clean, roomy, and we enjoyed our stay. We were up for the weekend for my nephew’s wedding and we decided to rent a house instead of staying in a hotel. We had a great time hanging out in the basement playing ping pong, pac man, and relaxing in the sauna, and also sitting around the fire pit at night. Rita was extremely responsive, and was a pleasure to rent from. She even sent me a txt on check in day to make sure everything went smoothly. We liked the area, and would love to come back for a longer stay for a vacation at some point.
