The house was clean and well maintained. Loved the open floor plan. Loved the gated back patio so the kids could eat outside if they wanted to. Quick ride to the beach and other things. Quiet neighborhood. Will be back.

We had a great week at this rental. It was larger than expected which was perfect for my husband, his two sons (both taller than me) and our two 50-lbs doodles! The fenced in back yard was especially great; it is primarily stone but wraps around on either side to grass which was easy for cleanup! And there’s a hose and spigot for rinsing sand away. I did purchase a small air tight Tupperware to store the doggy waste until we were able to throw it in the beach trash cans (which there were daily excursions to the beach with us being a few blocks away anyway). The home itself was spacious and very clean. We were comfortable and had a great stay. The boys gave the Internet two thumbs up (as avid gamers who HAVE to travel with laptops to stay connected). The bikes in the garage were a treat to use as well. St Augustine was a short 15-min drive and was a very quaint experience. St. George street reminded us of a safer New Orleans but with beaches nearby! For the 21+, try the blueberry daiquiri Popsicle from Hyppos. Of note, I can’t recommend Commanders Shellfish Camp; not sure how the seafood boil doesn’t come with clams when that is a claim to fame for your restaurant! But Redfrog and Mctoads has a red (tomato based) clam chowder that was awesome. Definitely don’t miss out on this rental!

This was the perfect rental for our family vacation. AWESOME price for what it offered. Close to the beach, clean, roomy but cozy, well appointed. We had everything we needed. Only wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever get back down to St Augustine, we will definitely check this property for availability.

The property was just as the listing described. The property was clean and maintained. It was great to be able to walk out the door and be at the beach within minutes! Dawn was quick to answer and help resolve any issues we had. I honestly could not have asked for a better rental experience and look forward to booking again in the future.

We loved gathering on the veranda in back, the two youngsters loved the swing, and it is a lovely house. Everything worked well, and we all had a good time.

Excellent location in terms of beach access and a wide variety of culinary delights. Not to mention the incredible old town of St Augustine just a short drive away. Nice enclosed backyard to relax after time spent walking or sunbathing at the beach

This was a good space for us, adult couple in 50s, and my parents. The house met our needs perfectly. The location was close enough to downtown St Augustine but good to be few miles out also. The walk to the beach was fairly close and made for a nice afternoon walk.

We really enjoyed this VRBO. It was convenient to the beach and other local attractions and services. We have family that live in the area and we came to visit them, but decided to have our own space. The house was pleasant, bright and comfortable. It had what we needed for cooking and eating (breakfast and easy lunches/dinner). A couple of suggestions: 1. Put together a binder about your VRBO that explains how to get internet access, get to the beach, and what your house rules are. The guestbook is a nice touch. A prior renter did not pick up their pet mess and we spent an afternoon cleaning up a lot of large piles, which may have been avoided if it was clear to clean up after Fido. It also means your signs around the house can come down because there is a central information hub. Almost all of the other VRBOs we have stayed in had one. 2. The master bedroom mattress is very soft, we had to sleep close to the middle of the bed in order to avoid rolling out of it. The other mattresses were great. 3. The light on the back of the house does not work. 4. Just an FYI for any guests who travel with small dogs, there are some gaps under the fence they could get under if you’re not paying attention. We had a minor issue that I messaged Dawn about and she was very responsive. Overall, a very nice home away from home. We would stay again.

Great week at beach. Warm weather for Dec. We were in beach everyday. Roomy house. Beds could use bed mattresses. They were uncomfortable. Our dog lived fenced in back yard.

This property was great! It was very clean and well equipped. The owner is prompt and quick with responding. The walk to the beach is about 5-8 minutes. There is a path out the back, but some of it is through a bushy/grassy area. The use of the garage was great (especially during hurricane Ian). We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I really enjoyed the space! It was so nice to be able to take the dogs with us so they could also enjoy the beach! Great location and very easy to walk onto the beach. We will definitely stay there again!

Had a great time. The walk to the beach wasn't to bad but my daughter had a hairline fracture in her foot so it made the walk far. The drive was fairly close to everything we wanted and needed. Enjoyed our time.

We had a great time. The property is less than an hour from our home so it was great to get away close to home. There was plenty of room for our family. We swam with the dolphins at Marineland, ate great food and went to the beach, which was just a 4 minute walk away, several times. The only thing I'd note about the property - our map took us in circles around the block of the property. It's on the main road, so don't trust your map. Ha!

My family and I had a blast staying at this house. Everything was very clean and well kept. The house is nice and open and also has a great fenced in back yard with an outdoor table to enjoy morning coffee at! Location is close to all the best beach restaurants as well as a 5 minute walk out the backyard to the boardwalk on the beach. We will definitely be back!

I would definitely rebook this property and stay here again. We had 10 people staying here ranging from 4yrs- 80yrs we had 4 generations there for a family vacation and we had 20 total in the family between this house and 3 other places to stay. The house was clean and spacious. Loved the decor and how close it was to the beach. The neighbors were friendly. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with and book with.

Nice big house, very close to the beach. Very comfortable for 4 adults and 4 kids. 5 min walk to the beach! Definitely would stay here again.

The location is ideal for beach access with kids since you don't have to cross A1A. House had everything we needed and the host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Property was as advertised and more. Beautiful house. Walk out the back gate and up the not busy street to the fantastic beach. It is on the beach side of A1A and it was easy to get in and out onto A1A so traffic was no problem. A1A was great access to everywhere we wanted to visit. It is a dog friendly house with a fenced in back yard. I would 100 percent rent this property again. Thank you Dawn for allowing us this great adventure.

My husband and I visited St Augustine 25 years ago and decided to bring our kids here for spring break family vacation. We didn't realize how much downtown/ historic St Augustine had grown! We enjoyed visiting all of the things St Augustine had to offer but were so glad for the quiet beachy location of our house just a short drive back! Once we were all peopled out, this house was a welcome place of relaxation. It had everything we needed and more. We loved that we could bring our sweet old pup too. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The bathrooms were well supplied too. The games, boogie boards and extra beach chairs were great to have also! I enjoyed sitting out on the patio reading and we ate a couple of dinners out there as well. While I read, my son and husband enjoyed catching up on some shows on netflix. There was a bad storm when we first got there which took out the connection but it was easy for my husband to reset. The house was open and roomy, plenty of space for our family of 4. The beach is just a short walk away. The trip to the beach was lovely with wild flowers, turtles and rabbit burrows. The beach was just beautiful too! We took some great pictures, my daughter found a sand dollar, many shells and we enjoyed time reading and boogie boarding. The sunrise was perfectly centered above the boardwalk - a gorgeous shot! I absolutely would stay here again!

House was great and clean and location couldn’t have been any better. It was just a short walk to the beach. And had plenty of room inside and out for a family with kids. Or just friends. The owners were awesome and helpful and responded to anything I asked! Highly recommend

Our experience is probably a little different than most since we were there for a month. The house was spacious and the property good with a fenced back patio and excellent access to the beach off the back. Just a short walk. The fact that it was pet friendly was a plus for us since we could bring our dogs. The house could use a deep cleaning as there was a lot of dust on ceiling fans and dressers. The shower was not inviting as we scrubbed it to remove mold from the grout. It also lacked a traditional tv service as it was a streaming service. We’re old school so we missed being able to flip through the channels. Again, some of these issues could have been overlooked if we were there for only a week. With a little TLC, would be a better review.

Location was well situated. Cleanliness was not good– I opened the couch ottoman and noticed poor cleaning. Both garbage cans were full and there was bad odor in the garage throughout our stay. The most disappointing thing was the BBQ. It was a mess, unusable, and we had to scratch the meal since it needed a deep clean. Garage door issues, but finally resolved. Thank you.

My family enjoyed our weekend at the house. It was clean and had plenty of space for all of us.

This property was conveniently located within quick walking distance to the beach. This listing works best for families of no more than 8 people max as a couple but we made it work for our larger family. The washer and dryer on site which was nice for our small children that mess up their clothes quickly. If we come down to St Augustine again, we will definitely make sure to see if this property is available.

This is our third stay at this nice home. It's close to good restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Dawn is an excellent property manager. Great patio on the back side of the house to hang out and relax.

The is very nice house and the location is even better. It’s two blocks from a beautiful beach and in a very quiet neighborhood. A great place to rest and relax. The host could not be any nicer and she is easily accessible!
