A very pleasant time away

The house is well equipped and lovin the decor. Wish we had more towels for the kids(only 2 provided) and no heater. It was freezing! Nothing major though, we loved our stay as it was easily accessible. Walking distance to the beach and our furbabies loved it too🥰

The property shows wear and tear. Grubby lounge chairs, dirty windows , tropical garden very neglected and pity there’s only one toilet (in bathroom). Well equipped kitchen cupboards but no dishwasher. Good location near the beach.

Amazing stay at the palms! It rained the entire time we were down there but the accommodation was everything we needed!

Everything was so easy. The booking, the comfort, the access to the beach and a beautiful house with many extras for a rainy day

My son and I love to fish - from the wharf , in the surf - this was a perfect location to do both and our very active vizsla had a great time on the dog friendly beach. The little schnapper was an unexpected gem for sunday lunch So great location, great house set up, great yard

7yo son declared it the best holiday house ever! He loved exploring the back yard with the dog. Proximity from beach and town was excellent.

We had a great time in this lovely house, so close to the beach and well stocked with everything needed. It was thoughtfully organised and decorated, we would definitely recommend to friends!

We stayed here with our young family and dog. The location was fantastic, just 5 mins walk from the beach, with a playground and skate park close by. The property is fully fenced and secure, which was perfect for our medium size dog, who loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.

The house itself is quite nice and a short walk to the beach. This is where the positives of this trip end. We decided to sit outside despite some mosquito infested ponds in the backyard and within an hour of arriving at the property we were trying to find an emergency vet to treat my dog who had found a packet of ratsak that had been left near the barbeque. I notified Professional Holiday Homes ( the managing agent) who were very quick to try and point the finger elsewhere for failing to provide providing a safe environment for a property marketed as “pet friendly “, even providing a screen shot advising they take no responsibility for children or pets in their properties so if you value your children or pets I would not recommend staying in properties managed by this company. Over the entirety of our stay we had to make multiple trips to Nowra for further treatment of my dog who still remains unwell from the rat bait. This has been an extremely stressful and costly trip. This was the first time we have taken my dog on a trip to a “ pet friendly” property and unfortunately has been so traumatic it will probably be the last. I would hate for anyone else to go through what we have so feel it is only fair to warn potential renters about this property and the managing agent.

We had an enjoyable stay. Relaxing place and modern decor. Nearby beaches were lovely.

This was a bright and comfy beach house, walking distance to the beach and shops. It had everything we needed, the garden is a tropical oasis, and lying in bed listening to the sound of the frogs in the garden and the crashing of the waves on the beach was soothing and relaxing.

Lovely large grassy yard, very close to the beach. Only top part of the apartment was available so cozy but well maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The 2 minute walk to the beach made frequent trips a pleasure. We had a dog with us and were able to walk him on the beach (off-leash after 4pm). The home is well cared for and had all we needed. The garden is spacious, with interesting and private features. We had a good meal out in the village (at the Little Snapper - short menu, but quality and service were both good), and coffees at several of the local spots. We also visited nearby towns, beaches and shops. We would happily stay here again. Thank you to the owners for making our holiday possible.

The Palms delivered all that was promised and more.The photos and descriptions were accurate. The home itself was very comfortable and clean. A very generous amount of condiments, spices, Cleaning products and quality shampoo, conditioner and soaps were provided. Very tropical backyard which was very pleasant to listed to the wind through the trees and of course, the waves on the beach. The beach was just a 2 minute walk and the shops about 10 minutes.The only thing that could be added was towel racks in the bathroom.We didn’t arrive until 4.30pm (check in is 4) and the cleaner was still there. We drove around for a short while and got in around 5pm.If you have a large, jumpy dog, the yard may not be suitable, as some of the gates were low. Our dog was fine though.The only other negative, which was not the property’s fault, was some very loud, drunk and foul languaged neighbours having a gathering on Friday night. It was quite invasive and unpleasant.But, all in all, we have a terrific time! Thanks.
