Everything we needed, a great family vacation. The property is impeccable. Our hosts were wonderful. The pictures are good, property is even better. Spacious, perfect deck, great yard for our dogs to run, quiet cove with dock to enjoy the lake, top quality kitchen, supplies, linens. Ping pong table was a fun option for evening. Highly recommend!

Could not have gotten a better place. Everything you could need is there. For a family that loves to cook it was perfect. Loved the house, the property was beautiful as was the area. Our 2 dogs certainly loved it We have stayed in many Vrbo all over and abroad and have one so well stocked. We also loved the bird watching ! Incredible and close to a bald eagle preserve. They gave us a great show. Already planning out trip back!

With the exception of the shower, the whole property was wheelchair accessible. A 4ft wide sidewalk led to the dock and to the lower level. Also, the entrance was ramped to the front door. No problem for the chair to enter the deck area. Large king-size bed in the owner's suite. Everything was available... don't worry if you forgot something. Dish detergent, trash bags, bug spray, marshmallow sticks for the fire, air compressor etc. All the kitchen tools were top-of-the-line. All-Clad pans etc. We had a great time. The boat dock was totally accessible for a wheelchair as well. Our 3 and 4-year-old grandchildren loved swimming in the lake. The concrete dock pad went out 15 -20 feet and wasn't but about 5.5 ft deep. Not much boat traffic so the water was calm. The owner swept off the pad for us so it was nice & clean for swimming. Amazing property. Not many nearby stores for food so bring your food with you. When we left we ate breakfast at JoJo's in Benton. The service and food was fantastic! Thank You.

Beautiful lakefront home. We own rentals ourselves and travel a lot. This home is very clean, well stocked with supplies, beautifully decorated, comfy beds and in a perfect location! Thank you for a great weekend!

Everything was amazing! Beautiful property , owner were friendly and really think about whatever you may need while staying at their home. Reallly liked the fact that they welcome pets to stay , not alot of properties are pet friendly. I would highly recommend this home and plan to revisit this fall!!

My sisters and I returned to this lovely house for the second time! The house was well stocked and had everything we could want! The view of the lake was wonderful. The private dock was great to fish from! We will probably return!

Was a great stay extremely friendly and helpful people my grandpa's in his 90s and wanted to go fishing and they were more than willing to help me accommodate the trip to do a great time

Kentucky Deer Run was our favorite stay to date at Kentucky Lake! Beautiful and Cozy furnishings along with the tasteful decor is everything the pictures told it had to offer. Although we were only a family of 3 this stay, we hope to come back with more people and enjoy the outdoor space this property offers ☺️

My husband and I along with our 3 kids and my parents were able to enjoy a wonderful weekend on the lake for my dad’s 65th birthday. The lake house was clean and had easy lake access. The amenities were great! We hope to come back soon.

This was our second visit to KY Deer Run. This time was for a fishing trip with my father and father in law. Great location for fishing and access to the lake. The lake was down but the owners graciously let us use their dock. Speaking of the owners, they are very friendly and accommodating. They are accessible and easy to communicate with. The property is clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Cooking equipment and utensil are in good shape and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property and we’ll be back again.

I cannot express enough how wonderful this property is. If you’re looking for a clean, beautiful, well-equipped and spacious home directly on the lake then KDR is your only choice!!! It is miles above any other property we’ve ever stayed in and the owners are beyond thoughtful and most generous. We’ll be back again and again.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! Nothing beats sipping coffee on that deck looking out on the water. The owners were so easy to contact & so helpful with recommendations. Will definitely be coming back.

2 queen size beds and 4 twin beds. Spent a weekend with friends catching up and sitting on the back patio and cooking mostly. If you've got a boat to bring along it'd be perfect. Super clean, super nice, extremely well furnished. Fully furnished kitchen.

We loved this beautiful, private and spacious setting. We rented a pontoon for 3 nights and had fun tubing, exploring the wildlife including bald eagles, and swimming in the coves. The home had everything we needed and more: kayaks, sturdy wagon for transporting belongings to the dock, towels for dog washing, well-organized and stocked cabinets in the kitchen, hummingbird feeders, two small refrigerators perfect for beverages in garage, towel racks and sound machines in bedrooms, and so much more. The owners, who live next door, are accommodating and very friendly. My family would love to come back!

Truly home away from home. Home was fully stocked with everything you would need except for the food! Had a gift set with waffle mix & syrup waiting in the kitchen for us. Beautiful location right on the water with access to your own private dock we were able to swim from. Owners were extremely nice and helpful! We will return!

I can't begin to tell you how happy my family was with this house! It has EVERYTHING you would want in a rental. It was exactly how it was pictured and the kitchen has any kind of dish/appliance you would need. The deck is very generous and the yard going down to the dock/patio area at the water is parklike. Such easy access to the water was a plus. The gradual slope of the walk down to the water is wonderful for those who have mobility issues. We had plenty of parking for our 3 vehicles. Thanks so much to Sharon and Bill for renting us this wonderful house and we are looking forward to coming again next year!

Kentucky Deer Run is the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at. The setting was so peaceful! A gentle slope to the lake, trees providing shade but not obscuring the view. The lake itself was calm — no boat traffic, so the kids could float away from the dock without worry of watching for incoming boats. The cabin was CLEAN. It seemed brand new and as if no one had ever stayed there before. Beautiful lake views from all the windows facing the lake, and the furniture and decorations looked like pages from a magazine. The Kentucky Deer Run cabin has everything you need. Measuring spoons, a blender, large mixing bowls, sandwich baggies, foil — Sharon and Bill have thought of everything guests might need. The owners were so nice and helpful. They provided a list of local places to eat/shop, how far away they were, etc. We ended up at Popi’s on our last night. Food and service were both great, and everyone loved what they ordered. (Side note: the mozzarella sticks are the size of small logs and are delicious.) Bill even brought us a rope at one point when we needed one. And because they are right next door, he was there within minutes of our text to Sharon. If you’re considering renting Kentucky Deer Run and are reading these reviews to see if it’s as good as it looks in photos — it is! The property, the house, and the amenities are all impressive. We would love to go back!

The house was even better than pictured. It’s decorated well and well stocked with everything we needed. The property is gorgeous. Lots of room for everyone to play in the yard. The water was easy access and there is a boat dock. The owners live next door and we’re very friendly.
