The view was fabulous, we loved the little balcony. had great dinners & breakfasts looking at the lovely view. The apartment was great but on 2 levels. The staff provided us with lots of good information & parking was nearby was easy.

There were no lighters or matches that worked for the stove. Also we loved the view & quiet so we really liked the location but it was a 20 min walk to the shops/ ferry terminal.

It has the most amazing view.

Car parking was poor,often difficult to get a space anywhere near the property which was on a main road with no path. Apartment in an old building looked quite scruffy. Lots of stairs to the apartment. The polished wood staircase within the apartment was a safety hazard and was unsafe with inadequate handrail.The bottom step of the staircase was a concrete block.Access to the bathroom was also difficult.

the description was very truthful as we overlooked Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore we did not mind being a 1/2 hour walk into Stresa as it was a panoramic walk with bars and restaurants along the way

Location was fabulous, spacious apartment which was comfortable with the necessary amenities.

A kettle or alternatively a pot with a pouring spout if gas has to be used. A couple of the pots/pans slightly unclean. The heating system downstairs was very noisy and had to get used to it to sleep, maybe a plan could be made.

During our stay we had a problem with the water supply. For approx. 24 hours we didn´t have any water in the appartement, making the stay very uncomfortable and resulting in extra costs for us. After getting in contact with the owner/renting office we agreed upon a refund of an amount of one night as a compensation for the inconveniences and the extra costs we had. After approx. 14 days I got in contact again with the renting office as we didn´t receive the refund yet. Then I just got an answer that we are trying to blackmail them and that they will not refund the amount. Up to now I haven’t received any refund and the renting office is not cooperating at all. Very unfriendly. I am definitely not going to book this apartment again.
