Room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and Lena was great at answering all our questions. We had an early checkout on the Sunday so would have missed breakfast, but Lena arranged for delicious bacon sandwiches to be waiting for us to take on the ferry. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Located in a residential area and very quiet. A Co-Op supermarket within walking distance. However, it is at least 40mins drive to places such as Sandown and Shanklin and if you do not mind country lanes, you are sorted. Nice breakfast, generous portion. Place is nicely done and very clean. Lena was very welcoming and friendly.

Did not have time to explore their massive garden and pick up a few apples and pears!

The accommodation was fabulous. Spacious and decorated tastefully. Breakfast room. Very large garden with hidden corners, a sitting room and tea and coffee making facility in the room 😍 Breakfasts were varied and delicious. Cooked to perfection 🥰 The area was 10 mins by car from the ferry and a great base for exploring the island. Nights were comfy, dark and oh, so, quiet. The host was helpful with visits and restaurants and accessible while inside. I would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't fault it at all

We were made to feel very welcome from arrival to departure. The place was quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, and the owner took great care to cater for our dietary special needs. The room was large and well provided, the building imposing, everywhere seemed spotlessly clean. COVID safety measures were good. The grounds are vast and most pleasant.

The shower room was adequate but the toilet should face a different way to give more room for knees. The water in the shower took several minutes to get warm enough, and the flow was never very strong.

Light, clean and airy. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Pretty, quiet location. Would definitely stay here again.

This property has got a beautiful garden where you can relax. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and all was delicious. Lena, the owner, was a wonderful guest.

Beautiful breakfast, attractively served - home-baked pastries. Location: the huge garden and orchard are adjacent to the leafy footpath leading direct to Freshwater Bay - 20 mins leisurely walk.

We would have liked to used the fridge and work surface in the breakfast room but Government restrictions limit what the host can offer. Hopefully future guests can make use of those and the bbq facilities
