Very well equipped and in a beautiful area. All amenities worked perfectly, and the place is stocked up well to cook and serve a good size party. Downstairs bunkroom is awesome for the kids, loved our stay!

The host respond very quickly to any messages we had which made us feel more comfortable staying in there home.

Cabin is located very close to town and easy to find. The home is so lovely, clean, spacious with lots to do. The rooms are big and beds are very comfy. Tvs everywhere. We had an amazing time making dinner and enjoying the fireplace. There is a creek right behind that is perfect for exploring and makes for a majestic picturesque background. And finally, the host is so attentive, caring, and helpful, honestly what more could you ask for.

The layout of three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and the bunk house and bedroom with bathroom on the bottom floor was a great layout for some privacy. Cozy cabin with all the amenities. Short distance into town.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and so spacious for our big family. Alex, was always available to answer any questions I had. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

We stayed at this property for a weekend to celebrate three family birthdays with our adult kids and our grandchildren. It is a beautiful three level log cabin, nicely decorated with fun themed room, right on a stream, two huge decks(upper and lower), swings for the kids, great lower level room that our grandchildren really enjoyed ( they called it their kids’ hotel), close to the quaint town of a Idyllwild, quiet street with beautiful view of Lilly Rock, fully equipped with games for all ages. We had a spectacular weekend with all our family together!

I booked this cabin for a family of 12 adults, for a wedding event at the Harvey’s house venue, it sure is the perfect place for big family, the kitchen is fully stocked, cook large or small quantities. Great coffee pot, big dining area, it’s was a little chilly, but we had plenty of blankets. Not to mention the outdoor, so much to do, the hail and rain we had brought so much water to the creek, the sound of it was so relaxing, I reach out to Alexander a few times and he was quick to reply, my experience and my family really enjoyed the stay thank you so much, we sure return again for a little longer time.

A great cozy cabin with a terrific deck and lots of room for a large group. Good location, more or less walking distance into town. Lots of beautiful new appliances in the kitchen. A terrific cabin! One thing to be advised about is that one of the bunk beds is pressed so firmly against the side of the wall that an adult cannot fit into it, so this only reasonably sleeps about 9 adults.

Plenty of room for our family of 10. Lots of games inside and outside. Easy drive into town. Had everything we needed for a fun time.

The cabin is just a short distance from downtown, which gives you the option to sit on the back deck and listen to the stream flow by, or head into Idyllwild and explore the town. We had 10 people, and the kitchen/dining area made a great space to cook and converse around mealtimes. The 3 upstairs rooms were great for couples to use, and our one large family group took over the basement room and bunkhouse area. We explored several of the local nature parks to enjoy the mountain views and take in some moderate hikes. The town has a good selection of local artist shops and dining options. We had Sunday brunch on the La Casita patio and were very impressed by the friendly service of the owners and staff. There were no issues at all with the cabin and the owners have a done a good job of providing visible instructions for light switch locations, woodstove/heater operation, and suggestions for local activities. We had a great vacation and would love to stay here again.

Cabin description was a match!

We are two families with 6 teenagers between us who have been spending Memorial Day weekend in Idyllwild for the last 8 years. This house was one of the best we've stayed in. The large living space and dining room table accommodated all of us nicely. The three floors provided plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and the stream down below was so relaxing. Alex is a wonderful host and was very responsive to any requests or questions.

Super fun weekend in Idyllwild! The cabin is comfortable for a large group with lots to do outside for the kids. The bunk room was a great hit!!

Stayed here with my 3 kids and 2 other families for a total of 7 kids and 6 adults. We had a blast! Bunk room is perfect for the kids. Decks and backyard is perfect with tire swing, access to creek, rock climbing. Would definitely stay here again!

We wanted to go to idyllwild to see the cute little town and spend time with family. The Cabin was nice but they had had a pipe burst in the basement(kids room) before we came. So the bottom of the bathroom walls were gone with plastic sheeting and tape covering. Needless to say the bathroom was really cold since it did end up snowing. Cabin experience was cozy and fun. Plenty of towels and all appliances worked. Had a hard time figuring out the stove. Owners got back to me quickly when needed. also arranged for someone to come dig us out of the drive way! View was absolutely beautiful especially with the creek behind the property. Would love to go back in the spring, summer to do some hiking!

This place feels like home. We had an amazing experience here and it is obviously set up for family fun in nature. Alexander was great in hosting us.. great time and we hope to be back.. love the energy of this place.

The property is awesome , clean with everything you need, the host Alex was super nice and extremely easy to get a hold of. Definitely would recommend this place, great location and plenty of space to do lots of activities without having to leave.

Cabin had everything we needed for a fun weekend getaway with friends. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, were grateful for all the kitchen supplies, and enjoyed the easy walk to town. Kids had fun in bunk room and outdoor space both pre and post snow! Great cabin and great location.

Our three night stay in the cabin was fabulous! The cabin location was just what we were looking for- close to town, and the stream running through the property was beautiful! We had snow to play in and property was perfect for kids sledding and building snowmen! There were more than enough rooms for our family, and our three kids had a blast in the bunk room with the 7 bunks and trundle! The kitchen and family room was perfect for the adults to have happy hour wine and cozy up by the belly stove ! Overall we had a blast and really enjoyed the cabin! Thanks for a great experience! The Creekside Cabin was a perfect getaway for 13 of us! Alex responded promptly to all requests. The woodburning stove kept the space warm, and the kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend this cabin!

We had an amazing time at the cabin! We booked for a week before Christmas to celebrate with the family ahead of time, and had a fantastic stay. We got some snow the second day, and were able to do a few sledding runs on the hillside of the property. All the snow-covered trees were just magical for a White pre-Christmas celebration! Even in all the snow, the wood stove kept us nice and cozy inside. I would totally recommend this cabin to anyone, it has just about everything you'd need for a really fun stay in Idyllwild.

Very charming property. Had a great time

We had a large family group of 8 adults and 5 small children. This cabin gave us room to spread out with three floors and a spacious yard with a creek! Pros Bathroom on every floor. Dining area seats 10 at the table and 4 more at the kitchen bar. The wood burning stove did an amazing job of warming up and keeping the cabin warm. Also a very generous supply of wood! Lots of games for kids and adults (especially loved the giant scrabble board!) Cabin was clean with a well stocked kitchen and lots of blankets and pillows in every bedroom. Easy check in/out. Host Alex was the best! Attentive to all our needs and responded quickly to our questions. Cons Lots of steps from driveway to front door and not lit at night. Spacious yard but too steep for small children. And a con that turned into a pro: We couldn't find a broom anywhere( I wanted to sweep off the steps because of the wind) and so I contacted Alex. The next day (Thanksgiving Day) a brand new broom and dustpan arrived at the door!

This cabin was perfect for our group of 10 women having our annual weekend getaway! We have been doing this for 15+ years and this VRBO cabin ranks at the top. Check is was easy, owners very responsive and personable. Cabin is very clean, and well appointed. Kitchen very well stocked and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The wood burning fire place heated the cabin really well and there is tons of wood and fire starters provided which was a big plus! The dining table was perfect for a big group dining and doing crafting. The deck over looking the creek is so peaceful and the property is really well maintained. Walking distance to town and local hikes. We had an issue with the heater downstairs but because the owner was very responsive and helpful and it did not negatively impact our stay. Until next year!

Spacious yet cozy, convenient yet private. We absolutely loved this cabin. "Nooks and crannies" for every member of the group. All with great décor. I felt like I was in a cabin I would see on HGTV. It had a great layout - 3 levels with a full bath on every floor, 3 large bedrooms on the top level, a huge bunk room and a private bedroom on the bottom level which opens to the lower deck. The main living space opens to the large upper deck which has a covered area and a large open area. There are a lot of trees and there was always shade to be found. Speaking of shade, we happened to be in Idyllwild on the hottest, busiest weekend of the summer and unlike Big Bear, the town did not feel overly crowded and there was zero traffic. We could walk to town but it was easy to drive and park too. So many great restaurants! We did have A/C but we only turned it on for a couple of hours the first day we arrived. Otherwise it was comfortable the entire weekend. The property itself is lovely with 2 swings and a big boulder to climb on. Lots of stuff to do for all ages - we kept finding fun games throughout the cabin. We could not have been happier - I only wish we had one more day to spend! Thank you to our amazing host!

Nice cabin and perfect getaway for family

The property was fantastic with plenty of room for the 7 of us. The themed rooms were fun. Plenty of toys for the kids to keep busy with. Great outdoor toys (darts/cornhole/ping pong) for everyone. Set on a peaceful nature backyard. A little too steep to let our little ones play without close supervision but they still had fun in the tire swing. Close drive to the cute little town. Owner was very responsive with communication. Would recommend!

Absolutely great for the kids! They loved the swings outside, the balcony has a direct view of the children playing so adults can BBQ and still watch the kids. The area was beautiful and close to the shops and trails. Would stay here again anytime!

We had a group of 12 and the cabin was absolutely perfect for this group. 100% as described in the listing. This cabin is more than well stocked, the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of games to keep all ages entertained. This group will definitely be back again next year.
