The host is very respectful, friendly, and helpful.

The breakfast was a full Irish breakfast with tea or coffee available when I required it Location was perfect for my work. Scenery was great and a peaceful stay.

Castlebaldwiin was close enough to Sligo centre, which was great. The house was v well looked after. The ensuite room we stayed in was a lovely temperature, spacious and v clean. Damian was a v welcoming and attentive host. The breakfast was excellent both mornings. Castlebaldwin Country Residence was just really good value for money. Also, the local Mc Dermotts Bar and Restaurant, a few minutes walk away, was a handy option for us for a lovely evening meal too.

Lovely host, Damian is a really gentle person that really cares to make anything confortable for his guests. The room was nice and the breakfast really good and plenty. The place is peaceful and also parking is simple and next to the structure. Absolutely recommended.

Pretty good. Maybe a bit more variety eg. Cereals, but we did say we wanted a fry and just stuck with that. Scrambled eggs were well cooked (not always easy) but maybe a fried egg one morning. So pretty happy. Good mugs of hot coffee!

Maybe a chair or two in the bedroom . Nowhere to sit except bed. But that was comfortable.

The break fast was perfect for us and just the right amount of food cooked to perfection just how we like it It was only a 10 min drive away from our sons place which was perfect for us it meant we could see our son and his wife everyday of our stay Damian is a very friendly and easy to chat to which was great It was good that Damien was able to join us for breakfast both mornings which was nice of him to take the time to sit and chat with us I would definitely recommend this B&B to all our friends and family will definitely be staying again next time we visit

I discussed with Damian about adding a bin in the bedroom area aswell as the bathroom area Also about the headboard knocking against the wall when I turned over in the bed

Lacks of TV

It was so relaxing and damian the host was absolutely amazing he made us feel so welcome and relaxed would highly recommend this house to everyone its a must stay we will definitely be calling again 😀

Everything was perfect

Damian was a very attentive and conscientious host. The house is very close to Mc Dermot’s an excellent bar and restaurant with fantastic staff.

This place is very clean, neat and tidy. The beds are very comfy. The location is perfect if your main destination is the Caves of Kesh and around. We did not have to drive for more than 30 min to reach our destinations. Damian looked after everything, very kind. He was concerned to make the most of our stay. If you message him beforehand he will have the hot water ready for you to get a shower. He also took into account our opinion and feedback. We suggested getting some plug extensions in the bedrooms as we carried cameras and such which needed to be charged at the same time as we were on a road trip. Also, we would like to suggest him a glass in the bathroom to keep toothbrushes.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Great nights sleep and conscientious host.

While it was perfect for us, the location is remote. Very near Carrowkeel and Lake Arrow, but a good drive from Sligo.

Very friendly host, house and room were very clean, breakfast basic but good and abundant, convenient location to explore Sligo area. Nice pub at 1 minute walk with great food.

Shower in the main bathroom could use a better water pressure

Damian the host was very attentive nothing was to much.He went above and beyond and took us on a 15 mile journey and picked us up again.Room was clean and en suite bathroom and the breakfast was amazing.He couldn’t do enough a true gentleman highly recommend.

Very nice place, near all most interesting sites. Host was very friendly and gentle. Very good breakfast and clean rooms.

Breakfast was basic but very homely. Damian made a great effort to accommodate our requests. He will never be a Michelin chef however provided a nice breakfast. Location was far into the countryside however suited our needs.

Extra pillows would have been preferable, possibly a tv in room if staying fir a few nights.

Legend. He's a local historian and is great for a chat. Lovely cosy home, offered us anything we needed after finishing a rainy day hiking along the Beara Breifne Way. Breakfast was lovely, he's very accommodating.
