For us it was all about the deck, overlooking the beach. Part of it is covered so if there is a little rain, you can still sit outside and watch the storm pass by. The house is very nice, cozy, well stocked, comfy and sparkling clean. Exceptional. 10/10.

The property was amazing. It honestly looks better in person and I didn’t think that was possible! The beach was beautiful and private and being able to just walk a few feet to the beach was perfect. We were left beach towels to use, plenty of beach toys and chairs, and shampoo and body wash was even supplied (good brands too). Every little detail about the place was above and beyond. Alexander was an awesome host as well and made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be back!

This property is great—exactly as shown in the listing photos and as described in the listing. The location is perfect for a quiet beach stay, but super quick to get to St Augustine attractions and about 2 miles from a Publix grocery store. The house is probably the best stocked house we have ever rented anywhere. It’s got just about anything you can dream up—drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, blender, paper towels, TP, giant Costco sized shower stuff, all manner of kitchen utensils, beach towels, gobs of bath towels, bed linens galore, dishwasher, toaster, candles, matches, Draino, sponges, can opener….i mean…. The beach front location was sublime. Giant windows looking at the Atlantic and a massive wraparound deck with seating to just watch the seabirds and dolphins and people go by. (The beach is uncrowded and very clean, the sand not hot even in a tremendous August heatwave) The host was a great communicator and gracious and welcoming and I couldn’t ask for anything more. We recommend this house and this host to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation stay in the St Augustine area! Thanks, Alexander!

We had a great time staying at La Anahi! Immediate beach access from our patio, and a great view of the ocean from the deck! We would definitely stay again!

This was our second time staying at this location and it was just as wonderful as the summer before. This home is cozy, has everything you need for your stay, the oceanfront view is unbeatable, and the beach was clean. 10/10 recommend!

The house was clean and functional. It had lots of stairs but so did all the surrounding houses. Communication was ok but two messages were ignored; one using the VRBO platform and the other using email. Lots of toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. were available but a lot of them need to be maintained or thrown out and replaced. All in all it was a great vacation and the house is super cute. Great view and location! Best part was the beach, it was very secluded, not many people up against our party, very nice.

We had a wonderful time! The large patio was ideal for entertaining visitors. Management was very responsive to all questions/requests. Have already booked for next year!

Very practical layout to the house, with large windows and a very nice porch that doesn’t obstruct the view of the ocean! Our family loved staying here. We had about 50 yards of beach to ourselves all week - almost a private beach! Everything was clean, well stocked kitchen, fairly comfortable beds, water toys and beach chairs were available. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely think about coming back!

This property has windows all across the back of the house for spectacular views of the ocean. You have great options for being under a covered deck or out in the sun and even a great firepit for chilly evenings. Will definitely be staying here again.

Living downtown St Augustine, every year during springbreak I like to stay a week at Vilano Beach. Every time I look for a different vacation house and this was a good choice. Beautifully renovated bathrooms and excellent mattresses. All what you need for a relaxing beach stay and enjoy the view and sound of the waves.

We stayed for 3 weeks, had lovely weather and a really nice time. Property was true to pictures. Really appreciated the ease of parking and the various options for outdoor seating. Also enjoyed the fire pit a few times. We would recommend this house to anyone visiting Vilano Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Anahi. We were able to do a lot of cooking in the large kitchen and Publix only being 2 miles away. The views from the house and the large deck are unbeatable. There is a ton of wildlife to watch and the beach is accessible right from the large patio downstairs. Lots of space for storing our bikes and beach chairs under the house. The openness of the house and the large rooms were very comfortable. The house was very clean upon checkin. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

Great stay. Would suggest adding microwavable cereal bowls.

We had a wonderful time at La Anahi! The house is great and the water is so close. Mornings sitting on the deck with my coffee was my favorite!!

The size of the house was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kids under the age of 5. There was a pack n play already there. Access to the beach was basically in the backyard and the locals are very nice! Publix was only a 5 min car ride from the property. Unfortunately we had to cut this stay short due to hurricane Ian but we were refunded the remaining stay without asking. We'll be visiting again, hopefully not during hurricane season.

This house was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We had a great time. My favorite part was sitting on the deck with my coffee and watching the sunrise. It was all right there!!! We hope it is doing well through hurricane Ian.

This was an excellent experience for my sister and me. Very well maintained and very clean. Lower level Outdoor shower, paved patio with fire pit, along with covered parking were a huge plus. All updates inside and out, made for a relaxing and comfortable week. Can’t wait to come back.

Our family loved this vacation rental. There were four of us. The full length porch on the beach side of the house was a beautiful place to hang out and the morning view was spectacular. We were blown away at all the amenities the house had, too. There were beach chairs, surfboards, beach umbrellas, and even a huge basket of new beach towels. The fire pit was an amazing feature. We really liked the open floorplan. The house had a huge wall of windows facing the beach and ocean. We would definitely recommend this house to any family. The beach was really private and not crowded during our stay (mid August). We will be back!

House was clean and came with all things needed for a week on the beach. Beach was not crowded at all, often seemed like a private beach. Very happy with the property!

From the opening of the car doors when we pulled in till we left a week later, everything was so perfect and clean and awesome. Such a beautiful home .

Everything you could ask for in a vacation house.

The home was everything we wanted for a relaxing week at the beach. It is very obviously set up as a rental home which allows you to sit back and enjoy the peace of vacation. We had beach toys and accessories, but still utilized ones that came with the house as well. The location is close enough to Publix and St. Augustine yet still feels far from the bust tourism that Vilano Beach can bring. The only suggestion that I could make for the owners would be to invest in some newer mattress. They have definitely been wore out. I would rent this home again.

Our family loved this home located directly on beach and accessible to everything in ST.Augustine. I’ve been to many VRBO properties in past. This place is top of the list. Plus Alex is very responsive and helpful. I plan to reserve again in 2023

La Anahi is a beautiful, well-maintained home! “Home” is a good word for it! It felt like home from the minute we walked in! Beautifully furnished, but not overwhelming! Amazing views from everywhere in the family room and kitchen! The communication with the owner was pretty incredible! From staple items in the kitchen to beach towels and chairs, it was so nice to have things that we needed without packing up the house! Definitely a 5-star experience! Highly recommended! Hope to return!

Our stay was enjoyable. The home is on the beach which can be enjoyed from the porch area or to spend your day at the beach walking, sunbathing or swimming. Villano Beach’s proximity to Saint Augustine is only a few miles Which makes it easy to visit often during your stay. We found the nearby restaurants All had nice atmosphere and great food would highly recommend Caps, Aunt Kates and The Reef for lunch or dinner. Aunt Kates offers a good happy hour. The owner stays in contact with you to make sure that your stay is what you expected. We would not hesitate to come back another time.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here! We took advantage of the beachfront, volleyball net, fire pit, hammocks, wrap around deck! It was wonderful. We didn’t want to leave! Plan on coming back next year for longer. So nice to wake up to the sunrise on the deck every morning.

Perfect location from our favorite dog friendly restaurants & Publix. Best view on our pretty much private beach, for sunrises and also hanging with the locals who are all so kind. Our 7 day stay was too short.

There are many pros to this property including a stellar location and ocean view, the responsiveness of the owner, comfortable beds, high-end supplies (Kleenex, bath tissue, shampoo, hand soaps, lotion, etc), wrap-around deck, lower patio with firepit, and great supply of beach chairs and gear. The big downside to this property is actually accessing the beach. We learned from neighbors that the city had recently put in (or maybe added to existing) a large sand dune in front of all the houses, completely covering up any stairs. This means that you have to traverse a ~ 6ft steep incline of loose sand to get to the beach. You could dig your heels in and safely get to the bottom to go down, but getting back up was nearly impossible for me as I felt like Roadrunner trying to gain traction for the steep incline without falling or sliding back down in loose sand. We found an informal path with a less steep incline one house down that appeared to be an semi-public access point for a condos across the street. I could more easily navigate this path, but it was still a climb over loose sand. It was impossible for my 76 year old parents to access the beach, although the next door neighbor very kindly allowed them to use their steps. Also I think that the porch area could be really enhanced with more plentiful and cushiony seating. There was a couch with padding, but after an hour or so it became less comfortable. The other issue to consider is the busy highway. I brought a fan, so always had white noise and it did not bother me. My mother who is a lighter sleeper was surprised at the amount of traffic throughout the night. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the view from the fabulous back porch, but due to the lack of easy beach access would probably not go back. The other very positive aspect was the responsive owner. We requested a Keurig machine and extra hair dryer that were waiting for us when we got there. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. I would recommend to others if you do not want to access the beach or are younger and can easily navigate the sand dune. My teens had no trouble.
