Wonderful house and great location. There are 12 of us and can be a little tight in the main living area but the covered porch with rocking chairs is convenient for spillover. Excellent communication with owner/rep . It is a short pleasant stroll (less than 5 min) to the beach. The pool is great - it was cleaned twice while we were there. Highly recommend this home!

We had a wonderful time. We’re already talking about returning next year. The house doesn’t have an ice maker.

Fabulous location and great house for a family reunion. Plenty of space to spread out, very convenient to the beach, right on the bike path, and just a mile from restaurants and shops and a great playground. Lots of beach amenities at the house to make your stay a delight.

We rented the house for our children and young grandchildren. I have to say the house exceeded my expectations. When we drove up I thought I arrived at the wrong address....the pictures did not capture its full essence. The location to beach and nearby town with many restaurants was accurately described. The beach magnificent and both easily walkable and great even for bike riding. The weather better than I thought this time of year reaching mid-high 70's. Beautiful pool with plenty of toys. I do recommend heating it this time of year. There was a good supply of beach chairs with a transport cart. Although beach and regular towels provided , I would suggest a second set be available. as well as greater supply of paper products for larger families. Would consider having a pac n play or portable crib for families with younger children. Bikes would be a great idea. Items we didn't have were easily rented. Our family enjoyed this special time we had together. Thanks

We ranged in age from 2 - 65 - I can honestly say this property was perfect - The house was perfect for those who wanted quiet time - to those who wanted beach and shopping - The kitchen is setup well for cooking breakfast or dinner - Uber was quick for pizza night - my favorite.. as the senior in the group - was the first floor master - with the prvt door to the veranda for my early morning mug of coffee- my 25 yr old loved the outlet malls and close walk to the beach - while our two year old paddled in the prvt pool - the large open floor plan allowed for fun family evenings ... Just a beautiful place for family gatherings

We had a large group of family stay at this wonderful property and can't think of a thing we lacked. The ocean and beach every morning with sun at the pool each afternoon. The house/kitchen was well stocked and the pool was even cleaned twice while we were there. Only suggestion would be the addition of a door alarm system for pool safety since there is not a fence around the pool. Not a problem for us as the kids were quite young so constantly supervised but as they get older an alarm for the doors opening would be helpful for any unknown exploring that may occur. The owner was very responsive and answered all questions promptly. This could easily become our regular yearly stop!

Very nice property

This was our second visit to this home. We had a wonderful week. The house was very clean - the pool was lovely with some floats available. The kitchen is well stocked - linens are very nice and there are beach chairs and towels available. A nice gas grill is also available. I had to contact the host and he was very quick to respond. We have already secured our week for next summer!

The site is perfect to the beach, short walk to village, and overall perfect! Decor is nicely done with a beach theme, but not too much…

Location, Location, Location. The home is a two minute walk from the beach, 10 minute walk from all kinds of great shopping and food and a short drive to many world class golf courses. We had 7 family members including a 10 month old baby (the house is not baby proof, but we did not expect that either) and a 2 year old. The house was perfect sized and had everything we needed. When there was something that was not working or was broken, Steve did an amazing job of responding and fixing it immediately (there was not much that needed his attention). The home is just as it looks in the pictures. It has everything you need, including lots of pool/beach toys, beach chairs, towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Steve was very responsive heading into the trip and durning the trip. The only thing I would recommend is know that they give you a "starter" kit of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap and laundry soap so if you are staying more than 2 or 3 days with a large group make sure and get some on your trip to the store.

Decided to spend the week after Christmas in Hilton Head with family and could not have been happier with our decision to stay at 22 Mallard. This home has everything (and more) that you could ever need for a week stay. With walking path next to home you’re 0.8 miles to Coligny and the multitudes of shopping and restaurants. Beach access is across North Forest Beach and a very easy 1 minute walk. We had an issue with one of the showers and owner fixed it immediately. From the time you step inside you will feel at home and the owner (Steve) will make sure you feel that way. If I had one suggestion it would be placing white grip strips on outside steps as they can become slippery when wet. Thank you Steve for sharing your wonderful home and Go Flyers!!!!

Our family of 7 adults and 2 children had Thanksgiving week at this property. The house was immaculate. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The heated pool was great. We could walk to the beach and the shops in Coligny Circle. Steve was easy to work with. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our Thansgiving meals. Very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and appliances. We had a wonderful family time!

The house was absolutely everything we needed in a great location. Love the secluded pool but close enough to easily walk to the beach, dining, grocery and shopping! Communication with property manager was excellent!

The house is beautiful!! We loved sitting on the porch rocking in the rocking chairs and having coffee. We loved the pool area!!

Our family of 12 had a wonderful week at this beach house. There was enough room for all of us. The beds were fine with nice linens and the children really liked their cute bedrooms with the Jack and Jill bathroom. Comfortably decorated, a well stocked kitchen and a nice gas grill were all appreciated. The pool was great and was cleaned during the week -- we really enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs. The walk to the beach is a straight shot from the pool side of the house - about 4 minutes (you do cross a street but it is not very busy). We needed gas for the grill and the contact person delivered a new tank quickly. This was a great house with quick responses from the owner. We have already secured a week for next summer!

Quite pleasant without any hitches

Great location: just a few minutes walk to the beach and about 15-20 minute walk to Coligny plaza along a shaded walking/bike path. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances and everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time on the large porch in the rocking chairs above the pool. Host was always quick to respond. Would recommend!

We loved this house and it’s location! Very clean and nicely staged. The kids rooms are adorable!

We enjoyed staying at this lovely home. I would suggest a railing to get in and out of the pool for safety or to have the steps better marked. Other than that everything was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the house for Spring Break! The house is perfectly located for the quick walk to the beach, walking trails and nearby shopping and restaurants. The house was also the most well-stocked kitchen we have seen with VRBO! Fully enjoyed our stay and are already thinking of when we can get back!

We had a wonderful stay at A Southern Charm! The house is absolutely beautiful. It has just been repainted and refreshed, and the owners thought of every detail we could have asked for. The house is very well organized (including labels on light switches and in kitchen cabinets!), and we had everything we needed to cook and serve meals, including a never-before-used gas grill and sparkling new grill tools. There are pool floats, noodles, beach toys, chairs, and four new beach towels, too, which were such a nice touch. It is a very short, manageable walk to the beach and North Forest Drive wasn’t heavily trafficked so crossing was easy. Coligny is very close too— an easy bike ride on the path or a nice walk. The kitchen had a coffee maker and a keurig (though we did struggle with the keurig). There were good knives, cutting boards, plenty of plastic storage containers. The beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not feel right on top of one another. The porch and rocking chairs were a hit with all of us, as was the pool! On rainy days there was a perfect area under the house for the kids to ride their bikes around and still play outside. We would highly recommend staying at A Southern Charm and North Forest Beach in general and we hope to return!

The house was well equipped and accommodated our extended family of nine well. They’re was plenty of bedroom space and the location was great!

Loved the property! It was large enough to give privacy for our group of friends. It was convenient to shopping and restaurants. The beach is a short walk away. Overall, it was just what I thought I was getting. Hopefully can rent again when I return in 2 years.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is on a quiet street and the proximity to the beach is great. Everyone enjoyed the pool - it was large enough for a big group. My family had plenty of space to spread out in the 6 bedrooms and the common living area. The bathrooms and linens were clean, but some areas of the house could use a little TLC as it's become worn from renters over the years. Melissa was delightful to interact with and quick to respond to questions. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Great place for anyone looking for a perfect beach experience. Walk to the beach and an easy bike ride to food and shopping. Plenty of bedrooms, parking and a large private pool. The interior is getting a little dated, but did not detract from the experience.
