Very easy for families.
Nice size, high quality, nice spa area, ski literally to the front door of the boot room - ski out is a small walk for Avoriaz but only 100m - or ski out to the bottom of a green run and take the lift to Avoriaz central area.
Boot room is so easy and big lockers
Close to loads of restaurants
The supermarket is 5 min walk.
Parking is easy in the basement
Ski hire is a 30metre walk from the front door which is perfect. Best discount is online so book in advance. Also a great ski/ sports shop attached so be careful as lots of nice stuff in there!!!
Owner was always quick to reply and good instructions how to get in. We will def come back :-)

The property was just as pictured, and our host was so pleasant to deal with. The receptionists at Pierre Vacances were so polite . Nothing was a problem. We had groceries delivered to our apartment by the local Sherpa. It was a very relaxing, pleasant stay.

We had a very good holiday in a very nice and spacious apartment. The owner was though full, the location is great (both for skiing and dinner) and the pool is a great addition. We will definitely book again.

This was a truly beautiful, spacious apartment with an amazing view. All amenities on door step!
Avoriaz is a lovely resort particularly for families with horses trotting around and no cars. The Amara location is excellent and includes underground parking. The apartment looked over the valley towards Morzine and gave the most incredible sunsets. The property owner was superb, responding to all questions quickly and in a useful way. Highly recommend!

Très belle vue et appartement extrèmement confort
appartement de confort pour 8 personnes avec une excellente literie à l'exception du canapé lit du salon.
Tout est bien prévu pour le ski (local à ski directement relié par l’ascenseur), tout est fonctionnel, pratique et de qualité, le coin cuisine, les salles de bain et sanitaires.
Je n'hésiterais pas à le recommander...ni à y revenir!

This is a beautiful apartment; probably the best we’ve ever stayed in: big rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of seating, lots of shower/bath facilities and great views. There was also a washing machine in the apartment which is very rare and most welcome.
Access to the lift and the heated ski locker was very easy. Skiing conditions were as good as any in 40 years skiing.
On arrival we were dropped off by taxi (ski-lifts.com) right under the block in the car park which was very easy. To get to the main ski area you simply ski down the Proclou run from outside the ski locker and then take the TSD Proclou chair lift to the plateau (~15 minutes) giving access to the whole area. Or you can walk out of the back of the ski locker and onto the Beginner’s Plateau at the back of the block then down the Boulevard des Skieurs.
To ski back to the apartment you simply come down from the area at the top of the Proclou lift, aiming for the square (not the round) tunnel under the road skiing straight back to the ski locker without stopping or poling. The ESF rendezvous is right at the back of the apartment and very easy to get to.
We did the Portes de Soleil circuit. Apart from a 100m walk across the road in Morgins it was all skiable and very easy. The trick was to navigate to the Gabelou lift in Chatel which goes up and then down across the road meaning you don't have to take a bus at all. Lots of social media say that the circuit is difficult and takes all day. Even in the blizzard conditions that we had and a vin chaud stop it was only half that.
All the local restaurants were good. There are two actually in the Block and several more 10 minutes walk away.

Une semaine très appréciée
Une semaine parfaite de relaxation. Les skis aux pieds. Les équipements sportifs à disposition. Un appartement spacieux. Un accueil appréciable. Un petit souci? La réception est disponible pour répondre efficacement au besoin des vacanciers.
Les garages au sous sol sont très pratiques pour décharger et charger les bagages. Petits et grands avons passés une merveilleuse semaine en famille.

Idéalement placé: proximité de tous commerces, aux pieds des pistes, Parking accès direct (rare à Avoriaz) , casiers à ski avec un système chauffage pour vos chaussures ( que du bonheur 😀).
Après ski de rêve : sauna, hammam, piscine (gratuit) . Massages, jacuzzi en plein air avec vue féerique ( payant) . Pour ceux qui aiment le ski ou pas , c' est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre .

Swimming pool a bit chilly but facilities overall very good. Couple of minor problems when we arrived but swiftly dealt with by apartment managers.
