The TV was Streaming Service only and kept buffering. It wasn't a massive problem for us but maybe for some families.

Very confortable and well fitted out apartment overlooking the river . Great location to explore the région,some great walks nearby. Very good check in and out process.Can only recommend.

Nowhere to put your recycling,it would be great if this could be put in place.

This place exceeded my expectations and was a most wonderful stay. Apartment Abraham has 2 generous sized rooms with super comfortable beds and duvets. The open lounge, dining and kitchen area was great for self-catering dinners. We ate in and cooked ourselves for all 4 nights, as we didn't want to leave. Lovely view of the Victorian bridge and a part of Matlock Bath High street from the front window. I will definitely return to stay here - it was so relaxing and immediately felt like a home away from home. Great email communication and supplementary information from the hosts.

Everything was superb. Only minor suggestion would be to provide a baking tray (or two) in the kitchen.

Lovely, clean apartment with all facilities you could need . Situated in a central location to expore Matlock Bath. Fab, comfy bed. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided for you on arrival. Highly recommended!

The wifi dropped out 1 night, which affected the TV.

The parking spoilt our stay as we had to keep waking early to move the car. There was no easy chair to sit on which would of been fine if we were younger

The welcome pack was a nice touch and we found the bed extremely comfortable.

The apartment

Parking I booked the abraham apartment that on site parking but other people parked there and there was nobody to report it to

The location and space of the property was excellent for our family of 4. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was a nice touch to have the essentials waiting for us such as washing up liquid and drinks.

When we entered there was a strong smell of damp or cigarettes - a musty smell. But there wasn't any visible damp in the property and it didn't take long for the smell to go unnoticed.

Lack of parking - there was no available parking on arrival

The way the room was carefully laid out, and designed,. And the pint of milk in the fridge waiting for us. So we could have a hot drink. Very thoughtful and insightful!!!

Parking was a bit cramped

Everything was there that I needed, studio was spacious light and well layed out. Very easy to access property but also felt very safe. Prime location! I will definitely stay here again, already recommended to a few friends. The welcome tray to make tea/coffee with biscuits was lovely. I had a little query on my last night and got a response within minutes!

We had a lovely stay here, studio was a little gem! Honestly cannot think of anything negative, the TV was slightly crooked and I daren’t tweek it but don’t hold that against anyone. Matlock Bath is lovely, cute and slightly odd .. it’s a bit like small seaside prom without sea or sand! No late nights either, most seem to close at 10pm .. very quaint.

One thing that could have been mentioned as this is self-catering .. no groceries at all can be bought in Matlock Bath. I know Matlock is not far and there was milk, tea, coffee and soft drinks left for us but if you’re unprepared you might not be too happy.

Newly furnished and decorated to a high standard. For a Studio I was very pleased with the layout and modern design. A nice welcome basket upon arrival,much appreciated. Exceptionally clean . Compact but perfect for a Single Person or a Couple.

No on site Parking Spaces except for the 3xSuite/Apartments. A hairdryer would have been handy

Not great for parking as i was in a work van, but always found somewhere, no normal TV channels unless you went through iplayers but plenty of other options

The location is brilliant, was especially nice to have milk in the fridge and tea coffee etc as it was self catering and it's a bit of a trek to get to a shop/off license (well it's a three minute train journey but the strikes were on and the service limited at the time). I liked the bird song coming in through the window, I liked being left alone and how easy it was to pick up the keys, and the lack of noise from other people staying there.

We loved it all - perhaps the bedding was on the warm side but most people probably like it like that!

The room was beautiful. Tasteful decor, immaculate, new furnishings and floor coverings and a functional kitchen. The bed was large and comfortable. Another bonus was access to a shared, spotlessly clean laundry. The bathroom was modern, spacious and with opening windows for ventilation. The little touches, nice cookies, a pint of milk, washing powder, detergent and handwash were greatly appreciated. Our apartment was on the ground floor with car spot right out the front on the property. Highly recommend a stay. Location is superb.
