We wanted a different Caribbean experience from staying at all-inclusives and Kadi’s property delivered! Our kids loved the paddleboards, snorkelling gear, kayaks and fishing equipment. The Kaibo condo grounds are well kept and the pool is amazing. Kadi was a gracious host, keeping good contact and even helping out with our son needing a prescription. The location is great as many of the “touristy” experiences are on the east end. Wonderful stay, highly recommended!!

We had the best time staying at Tortuga Kai. To start off, the place was so clean and had absolutely everything you could ever need plus more. I have never stayed anywhere that had so many fun and useful things to use. There were toys for the beach, beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, bikes, snorkel equipment, the best pool floats, kitchen utensils and gadgets of every kind, phone chargers, bathroom supplies, beach towels, hair dryer, scale that came in hand to weigh suitcases before leaving. There was so much more but this was to name a few. The view was prettier than the pictures and the location was perfect. It took us like 2 minutes to drive over to Starfish Point where we spent a whole day because my daughter fell in love with the clear shallow water. We ate lunch next door one day at Kaibo which was so convenient to just walk over to. We relaxed in the hammock on the beach and spent every single evening/night at the pool and loved it. The pool was so clean and taken care of every morning. We even had our own 7am rooster alarm come by each morning which we thought was so funny (the rooster deserves a paycheck haha). We rented a car and drove the island to the Blowholes, Cemetary Beach which we loved so much, mailed a postcard from the town Hell, ate at Heritage Kitchen, Tukka, Lloyds Smokehouse, and Kaibo, got groceries at Foster’s, Chisholm’s, and Hurley’s. When I had questions Kadi was so kind and helpful with her responses. This trip was a dream!!

Tortuga Kai is simply an amazing property!!! We've been coming back since 2018, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else on the island. The condo has everything you could possibly need for a fun and relaxing vacation including a well-equipped, spotless kitchen, comfortable accommodations, and a variety of equipment for outdoor activities including bikes, a kayak and paddleboards. The pool and hot tub are steps from the condo. As an added bonus some of the best snorkeling and Stingray City trips depart from the dock right behind the condo.
Tortuga Kai is steps from one of the best restaurants on the island and great little coffee shop too! The newly renovated Rum Point Club is also short drive away.
Kadi sets the standard for Premier Host!!! From initial rental through check-out communications were clear and super responsive.
We can't wait to come back again next year :)

Let me tell you, I’ve been using Vrbo all over for many years and this is hands down the best experience ever! This property has EVERYTHING that you need or want or may have forgotten while travel. Easy to communicate with and accommodating to literally having all the amenities possible. You are away from the hustle and bustle of seven mile, basically on a private beach with a restaurant and bar right next door. I can’t speak highly enough about this vacation or the owners of this property! We are already planning our next visit here and will definitely be staying here again!!

From the first communication, to the check out process this was easy and wonderful.
The property was exactly has shown and described. Clean condo, with enough room for 4 adults. 2 nice size bedrooms and baths. Kitchen was well stocked with tools, dishes and glasses. Lots of beach towels to enjoy the great pool (that’s steps away from your door) and ocean. Lovely to have a porch to sit on to enjoy a beverage, food or relax.
The property was very well kept outside. Loved the view of the ocean from the condo and the opportunity to enjoy the water. Lots of toys (kayaked, paddle boards and more) supplied at this property.
Already looking at dates when we can come back to this condo!

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at this property and it was absolutely amazing. The location for us was perfect as we enjoy a quiet and relaxing environment. Waking up to the amazing view with coffee on the lanai was the best way to start each day. The unit is very spacious and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We always felt safe and everyone we met and spoke to around the complex were always so friendly. Prior to our arrival Kadi provided us with so much helpful information and the communication with her was always top-notch! We rented a car for the 2-weeks and we enjoyed exploring the Island/beaches and then returning to our quiet oasis. We don’t often return to the same place twice, but this place has captured our hearts and we look forward to our stay next year. Thank you Kadi for providing a wonderful experience for us.

This was our first time to Grand Cayman, but it won’t be our last. This condo was perfect! It is better than advertised. The location could not be any better if you are looking for a quiet resort with every amenity imaginable included. You literally walk out the back door and step into sand with the option of taking 10 steps to the pool or 50 more steps to the beach. Condo was very nice and came with things we don’t usually see in condos. 2 SUPs, 2 kayaks, fishing poles, tackle, bikes, etc. Lots of towels and everything needed for cooking. The beach in front of condos is one of the best on the entire island, and starfish point is a short walk away. You can snorkel right in front of the condo if you want, and there is a dock for chartered boats to pick you up and take you to stingray city. I wouldn’t change a thing, and we will definitely be back to stay in the same place.

My husband and I and three grown children stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas. Wonderful place to stay. Roomy, clean, and well stocked kitchen and bathroom all very clean. They have all the water toys you could want (do not have to rent anything) unless you want motor activities and you can get that right next door at the marina. Plenty of outdoor chairs and tables. We used the grill several times and it was nice having that. Also a restaurant next door good food but drinks are a little high priced. But it’s vacation!! Everything looked as it does in the listing. Showers have great water pressure and the beds are comfortable. Couch pulls out to a bed but the mattress probably needs replacing. It was ok for us as only one person slept in it. The owner was great communicating with me. Overall when we go back we will stay here. Thank you Kadi for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The condo was in a great, quiet location with impeccable views. It is well maintained, clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, and cooking supplies. The storage garage has all the water toys you could want. Description is accurate. Would definitely return.

We had a amazing stay! Everything was perfect, we enjoyed the hammocks. Very relaxing and such a beautiful place. Communication was easy and the helpful information before we arrived was very helpful.

Five of our family (all adults) stayed here for a week and we had absolutely everything we needed! The condo felt like home and we could kayak, paddleboard, bike, sit by the pool, enjoy the beach, etc. We cannot recommend this property highly enough for a relaxing and/or active vacation!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we really like it. The Kaibo and Rum Point restaurants were open this time, so there’s more options for eating out if that’s what you’d like to do. We prefer to grill and did a lot of our meals on the grill. Our expectation is to stay here when we return to Grand Cayman.

The condo was exactly as described. Very well appointed for all of your activities. It was nice to have the beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles and a soft cooler bag for trips to 7 Mile. We could pack all of our food and drinks and lounge all day with no worries. Also, having the water filtration syatem was a plus as well as the coffee maker. Loved the interior, pool, and grounds. We like quiet, so the secluded location was a plus! It is an easy drive to the other side so don't let that stop you from booking!!

We had an amazing time as always!!! This was our 5th stay at Tortuga Kai, and we’re looking forward to returning in 2024. The home is well appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The pool and hot tub are only a few steps from the patio door. There is so much to do nearby. The kayak and paddle boards are great for exploring Starfish Point, and some of the best snorkeling trips depart directly from the nearby Kaibo Dock.

The property was quiet and relaxing. It is well stocked with anything you will. The owner was very quick to respond. Make sure you kayak to starfish point, all the starfish are between Kaibo and the point. There is a lot to see just snorkeling infront of the condo. Rum Point just down the road offers good snorkeling, good food, and a quiet relaxing beach. My kids are already wanting to come back.

We loved this property and the location of it in Grand Cayman!
We did three excursions and they all left from the dock right on the beach—which made them stress free.
My kids had fun swimming in the water right in front of the place and the pool. We loved all the amenities with the place.
I would recommend kayaking to Starfish point—it took about 20 minutes and about 1/2 way to the point there are a ton of starfish! I think they are hiding from all the boats that go to Starfish point.
My kids loved all the toys as well.
It felt so nice and homey it made for a good stay.
Two recommendations if you stay here:
1) get bug spray! Ton of bugs at night and stores are not close
2) I would have bought more groceries to use in the very nice and well equipped kitchen to have saved money, since you are not close to many options.
We loved staying on this side of the island.

Kadi is a wonderful host and ensures that we have everything we need for our stay. She is responsive and thoughtful.
The unit is so well equipped with everything from bamboo sheets to lots of water and land toys. The good snorkling gear is a major plus and the 2 paddle boards are great. The clear kayak is also fun! We can't wait to go back next year!!!

I’d give six stars if I could! This was my first trip to the island and my partners second where he had stayed on Seven Mile. We both can’t image staying anywhere else after this visit. The condo is located in a dream like little cove and the patio door opens right on to the white sand. Fully stocked for an active vacation, we did not have a car and didn’t miss that one minute. Bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, propane grill, pool, hot tub, cocktails within a stones throw at Kaibo bar… We hired a chef to come in and cook and he commented how equipped the kitchen was. We didn’t have small kids along, but plenty of gear if you did. The view, location, the well stocked and thought through condo furnishings all make this a 10 out of 10. We will be back for sure.

We especially enjoyed the grill and screened in porch and being able to make our own meals since meals out with a teens tend to get expensive! Beds were great and the owner sends you a very helpful packet of info about some great places on the island. My teenagers loved the pool and hot tub. The community here was not busy and very quiet which we loved! Plenty of beach chairs, hammocks, and towels which was so nice! If you want some peace with all of the amenities, this is the place to go! We would recommend and also stay here again!

Everyone on the property was so nice. The unit was perfect in every way. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of dresser and closet space with lots of hangers. Tons of beach towels. Use the tour operators that leave from the pier next door. The stingray, snorkeling, and starfish point are all on the condo side of the island. The guided tour at the botanical gardens is a must. You not only get to know what you’re looking at but Hal gave us a lot of island history since he lived on Grand Cayman all of his life. If you take the kayak out to the right of the cove, and go near the shore, there are tons of starfish. The beach at the condo was very nice with plenty of chairs and hammocks. Starfish point was also beautiful and a short walk away from the condo. Car rental was a must. We used Andy’s car rental. Kadi, the property manager was great!

Tortuga kai was perfect for our family of four. The beach and pool was quiet and footsteps away from the unit. The unit was one of the most organized and well equipped rentals I have ever stayed at right down to every possible extra toiletry you could need if you were in a pinch. The host was very responsive and had information in key places in five unit.
Location was excellent, and we saw ton of Starfish at the beach in front of the unit. More than ag starfish point. We would definitely return, and it would be a great place for families, seniors, or visitors with no kids.

My family of 5 stayed at Tortuga Kai. The condo was really clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and more. My children loved the kyacks and the pool floats and there was tons of snorkeling equipment. The area is fairly quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile beach. Tours leave right from the pier at the restaurant next door (sting rays, snorkeling, bioluminescent bay). Our only complaint (if you can call it that) was that the water in the cove in front of the condos was full of sea grass and a fair number of jellyfish. We stuck to the pool for swimming while at the condo and took several trips to better swimming and snorkeling spots around the island. Having a car is a must. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we highly recommend.
