The facility was wonderful. The staff was friendly and and extremely helpful. Our time was brief and it was our first time at an All-inclusive facility, we totally enjoyed ourselves and will be doing an all inclusive again.

Everything was perfect. The friendly staff, the comfortable beds and classy/traditional architecture making this hotel a great place for couples.

All inclusive muito bom, localização excelente, mar bem calmo em frente ao hotel. Muito legal poder frequentar os outros hotéis RIU com all inclusive, festas no RIU Caribe inclusas, com transporte, bebidas e comidas. Preocupação zero. Vale muito a pena.

It run like a well boiled machine

Restaurantes muito bons e com boa diversidade de opções, sem precisar fazer reservas para os restaurantes de especialidades. Equipe e serviço de bar extremamente simpáticos e não ficam pedindo gorjetas para um bom atendimento. Quarto espaçoso e bem arejado. Ótima localização, praia limpa, cadeiras suficientes na praia e piscina mesmo com o hotel lotado.

Excelente localização, pé na areia com uma praia particular. Serviço "All inclusive" realmente completo e a vontade. Estrutura do hotel excelente, duas piscinas enormes, entretenimento, vários restaurantes, bares, teatro, café, etc.

A decepção foi no primeiro quarto que ficamos: fiz a reserva com vista para o mar, mas para ver o mar tinha que esticar o pescoço. Ar-condicionado com problema, torneira do banheiro com pouca água, ducha do banho com pouca água além de muito quente, cheiro de mofo no andar e no quarto. Devido ao problema no ar-condicionado nos mudaram de quarto no terceiro dia de hospedagem. Neste novo quarto, aí sim tudo ficou dentro das expectativas: linda vista do mar, torneira e ducha com bastante fluxo de água e sem cheiro de mofo.

The best part was the beach and the location

Food in buffet area was sub standard. There was no options for people from Indian/ South Asia. If you add couple of dishes will make a difference. There was no change in menu for our entire stay, not a big deal but few changes here and there should work. Pizza was ok but could have been made better. Property is little outdated as compared to the Riu next door. Need some work. But you get what you pay for.

Wonderful water views, right on the beach and fairly good selection to eat on the property. Rooms were clean and hotel staff friendly.

The rooms could use all the overhaul a bit outdated. The balcony walls were to high to enjoy the views while seated. The main swimming pool had some corners with accumulated dirt. The restaurant seating was nebulous spite posting on the outside of the restaurant that the second seating would start at 9:30pm Some restaurants would not seat you at 9:15pm even though they had availability.

Entertaining.We we’re expecting more activities just because it said adult only.So boring.

The attention by the staff is great, they are on top of every details!

They could have a service including transportation from the hotel to parks or excursion. Taxi are a reap off in the area

This is my second time staying at the hotel. The food is always good and wide variety of options. It makes the stay that much better. The staff is always helpful, attentive and always very nice.

The facilities are good, but some areas need updating - I.e rooms, gyms. The amenities are good and there is always something to do. Some of the fixtures within the rooms are dated, or weathered or don’t work. I also noticed that some of the staff had tattered uniforms, leading me to believe the hotel doesn’t take care of its employees. It’s unfortunate because a hotel charging this much should invest in its employees. They do great work and I hope they are compensated fairly.

I selected RIU Palace Las Americas Adults Only because of their clean beach after a long research of the Caribbean cost this summer. As you know Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean sea experience serious Sargasso's contamination of the sea waters and the beaches. The beach/water was in perfect condition during my stay the first week of July 2023 and I enjoyed to the fullest. They have also 2 big infinity/party pools and one smaller and more private pool on their premises in great conditions as well. If you are party person you will like this hotel and their full stocked with alcohol dispensers rooms as well. I did not stay all the time in the hotel so my main experience was related to the beach when I was there. I love the beach waiter who was bringing fresh drinks non stop. Great guy. :)

The main shower head was not working in my room but honestly this time decided to tell them on my leaving instead of wasting my time trying to fix room issues. I had a fan above the bed and it can get really cold in the room and I don't like blowing in my head as well. I did not figure out how to stop the fan when the electricity was on and I forgot to ask them as well. I just wanted tranquiller vacation this time so I ignored small issues on purpose.
