House was absolutely fantastic. Loved it. It was stylish and comfirtable, well equipped. The location was ideal being just back from the High Street and beach. I would love to go all the time, but live in Devon so a little far. Will definitely be back though!

A perfectly positioned property for the high street and beach. Excellently appointed with good storage, parking, courtyard garden, huge kitchen table, all the cutlery and crockery you would need. Contemporary and bright decoration. Issues we had with the property were responded to quickly and hopefully feedback will be acted upon for future rentals. We were a family celebrating a 90th Birthday with ages down to 21. Perfect that the property was on one level, however note that the (beautiful) sofa was way too low for anyone with mobility issues (or middle aged!)

Shellseekers was a lovely house for our well earned break. Everything we could have wanted was there. I have been inspired by the wall art to recreate this in my own home. It was great to be in walking distance of the shops, restaurants and beach. The town was very quiet when walking out at night to eat and many of the restaurants shut early. We didn't venture far as we were content to stay in eat, chill & watch TV.

Loved this place, ideal location, super comfy and utterly gorgeous and stylish. The weather was sunny every day and the local eateries mean we could drive out in the day and walk out to eat in the evening.

Shellseekers was an amazing find. It’s finished to such a high standard we suspect the owners have only just started renting it out as it’s really like a second home. There is so much more there than the guide suggests so we ended up bringing more than we needed too; toiletries in every bathroom, plastic cutlery / crockery for babies / children, board games, the kitchen is well stocked with every gadget you could need. The pictures on the wall, the little touches in each room, it’s such a high standard we loved it! Location wise it’s perfect, genuinely a 5min walk from the beach and the high street with all the great shops, the butchers, bakers etc are so close. The fish and chip shop is at the end of the road so you can look out the front door to check how long the queue is before walking down ! The guide says there is only room for 2 small cars but with careful parking we were able to fit 2 large cars on the drive which was great! Only 2 downsides we can think of: 1. you have to take all glass to the bottle bank as it can’t be recycled with the household waste which was a bit annoying and 2. The fridge is just a half fridge which meant we needed to do multiple shops throughout the week as it wouldn’t hold a full weeks shopping for 8 adults! Something be bear in mind if you orebook an online shop like we did! We’d love to book again next year but with 2 other babies on the way we sadly won’t fit as a group which is a real shame as we loved it so much!

We hadn’t been on holiday for over 18 months before our trip so it was long awaited and happily lived up to expectations. We were a party of 8 extended family members ranging from 14-80 and the accommodation worked really well. Being on one level was particularly helpful for my mother who has limited mobility and being able to keep the younger contingent on the other side of the building helped keep the peace! The extra large beds were perfect for my very tall father and sons. The open plan living space and bifold doors meant we could keep the property aired and it felt very Covid safe. Aldeburgh ticked all our boxes and kept all ages happy; easily accessible shops and restaurants with plenty of choice and so close to the beach!. Loved the fact that we didn’t have to use our car all week. We enjoyed visiting Thorpeness but apart from that stayed local. Weather was mixed to begin but then lovely for the week. Our only complaint was the lack of blinds in some of the rooms (on the long thin windows) and the fact they let so much light in. Having said that after initially being kept awake by seagulls we slept very well and found the property very quiet. A lovely staff member from Suffolk Hideaways came to the house on one occasion when we were confused about the heating. Highly recommend- thank you

A stunning home with everything you could possibly require. Amazing beds & linen. Ideal location. Fabulous layout with a really sociable space. Pure luxury. We’ll definitely return.

Perfect house to catch up with friends in the large sociable living area, lovely and close to town and seafront for walks/meals/drinks/fish and chips! Beds were so comfy and everything has been thought of, honestly could not have been more perfect for our stay in Aldeburgh! We loved it ❤️
