If you like beautiful views this place is great! Ok, now our experience. My wife and I and two small 15# dogs and My Father stayed for a week. The cabin was clean but did have some dog Oder. Not bad but I could smell it. The main living area and two main bedrooms is were we stayed. It was laid out nicely with great open feeling with the island kitchen and the views of the lake and great big porch (screened). We walked down to dock and back up (pretty good hike). Did day trips all around the area. Only issues we had were that we felt the couch in the main living area uncomfortable and with the dogs; taking them potty was a bit of a chore as you really had to climb a hill to be able to walk them (our dogs won’t go on gravel). Would I stay there again? Yes! But probably would not bring our dogs. Thanks for allowing us to visit this cabin for the week.

Close enough to Athens, GA for a weekend getaway. Nice screened in deck for meals or just relaxing. Blairsville is only about 10 mins away. Lots to do and see.

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the screened porch, fire pit, well stocked kitchen and views! Convenient to stores and the marina for boat rental. Communication with the host was excellent. The pictures do not do this place justice. Wonderful trip. thank you

We had a short weekend arriving on Friday afternoon and leaving on Sunday. The Nest was a great place to land. It was easily accessible and sleeping accommodations were great for 6 adults. There are plenty of games and activities to do at The Nest and since it rain part of the time these came in handy. The kitchen is open to the living area and has everything needed for multiple people to cook meals if desired. The screen porch is comfortable with great view and bottom porch with spa hot tub is also enjoyable. We rented a boat from Nottely Marina which is literally less than 5 minutes from The Nest. The lake itself is nice and not as crowded as many others in the area. I definitely recommend staying at The Nest if you want to spend some time on lake Nottely.

An outstanding home with more than everything you need on a lake with a dock. Besides all that Blairsville, Georgia is a gem. My family and I have had a VRBO home on a lake with the kids and grandkids over the July 4th holiday for 5 years. We have never had a bad place or stay. Having said that "The Nest' on lake Nottley is the nicest place we have stayed in all our adventures. We plan and coming back. All the other reviews cover the amenities and they are all true.

Absolutely beautiful. Plenty to do for the kids. Open space for all. Above any expectations I had. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, TV's in every room. Loved this place. This is not a complaint, more so a warning, the walk to the lake/dock is straight down which is not bad but the walk back up is can get you winded. This was not a problem for our group but could be for some. If you can make the trip down to the lake/dock, that was the best place to be. I couldn't believe what the owners supplied to have fun on the lake. I would definitely recommend this location for large families!

The house was just as described. Loved the size of the house. There was enough room for us all to be comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the downstairs area. Much for them to do. The view of the lake is spectacular! The only complaint I had was the cleanliness of the house. Dishes were left in the dishwasher, used washcloths left in bathroom. Overall cleanliness of the bathrooms was not the best in the world. Looked as if they just had a quick wipe down. Trash can in the kitchen was just nasty. Hopefully this cleanliness issue was a one time thing. Overall our experience was fantastic!

This is a really nice lake house with hot tub, plenty of beds and space, really nice kitchen and family room. Nice location as well. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Had a lovely long weekend at The Nest. The screened in upper deck is the place to be in this house. Kitchen was very well stocked. Highly recommend.

Great lake house with plenty of room for our family of 10. Lots of beds and bathrooms. Kitchen, dining and family room all connected and open. Downstairs play area and rooms were great for the kids. Also plenty of games and activities for them. We used the grill Friday evening and had a fire on the patio Saturday evening. We rented a pontoon boat and used the dock. Lots of TVs and WiFi. The weather cooperated nicely for a wonderful weekend. No problems with the house or amenities at all. Thanks!

We had a family get away with my kids sister and dad. This place had so much space, and so much to do. We enjoyed sitting on the porch furniture in the evening while my kids played foosball and ping pong in the basement. The use of paddle boards and kayak was so fun! The water off the dock is very deep so my kids jumped off the top of the dock all day long. I would definitely come back to this place!!!

The views on the upper screened in porch were beautiful and enjoyable even during the rain showers. Plenty of linens, soaps, etc. We all enjoyed the double decked dock, the kayak and paddle boards. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Many ping pong matches and time in the hot tub also. Highly recommend!

Every year we take an extended family vacation to a lakehouse. This house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at Lake Nottely. The kids enjoyed jumping off the double-decker dock, mini ping pong table, foosball table, and hot tub. Well, the adults enjoyed it too, especially the hot tub. The views are beautiful off the screened-in deck, which was a tremendous asset to extending the living space. The room sizes are perfect, and I found the room downstairs with the 2 beds, daybed with trundle to be larger than the pictures made it seem. Overall, the house easily accomadated our group, which consisted of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, 4 5-10yo, and a toddler, in total 13. The house is located on a more quiet section of the lake and conveniently across the cove from Lake Nottely Marina, which was wonderful in supplying snacks, drinks, ice, bait, tackle, and anything else we needed for a day on the lake. The lake itself is beautiful, albeit winding at times, with mountain views seemingly in every direction. There are 3 rope swings on the lake, although they are on the northern side about 8 miles away by boat. We rented a tritoon from Young Harris Watersports, and we completely recommend them for anybody looking for a rental boat. We would've rented one from the nearby marina, but they don't allow pulling tubes with their rental boats. Overall, we completely recommend this place and communication was great with Elle from the time of booking to after check out.

We had ages ranging from 13 to 77 and everyone had a wonderful time! The kayak and paddleboards kept the kids busy and there were plenty of board games, foosball, and ping pong for when everyone was done swimming. The layout of the house was great for our group, and the views were amazing! We would definitely choose this property again.

We enjoyed the open, 2 story dock and 2 balconies with great views of the lake and mountains. The house is very spacious with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 3 bedrooms on the bottom floor. Well equipped kitchen and loads of games- cornhole, horseshoes, board, darts, foosball, kayak- great for teens and kids. Quiet street and easy to find the house. Owner was easy to communicate with and we woud definitely go back!

This house is beautiful! Loved the huge porches and the 2 tier dock. We took the kayak and paddle boards out daily and it was perfect! Enjoyed every bit of our stay and this house!

Wonderful property with plenty of room and lovely views as described on listing; on a clear day you can see the observation tower on Brasstown Bald! We enjoyed kayaking & paddleboarding around the lake and just relaxing on dock and porch. All was absolutely perfect!
