Great neighborhood. Wished pool area had longer hours

Really nice place. Very clean. Good amount of space and comfortable couches and beds. The kitchen was well appointed and the screened in porch was great! We didn't use them but I was pleasantly surprised to see a gas grill and a blackstone! The neighborhood was quiet and not too far from the beach. We would definitely rent this place again!

We have stayed in bear trap for a long time in different places. This unit was very nice and relaxing. Would recommend it and we will stay again.

The home is beautiful! I loved that we were able to move right in and make it home for the weekend. The condo itself was beautiful and spacious for our family and fur babies. We were especially delighted to have access to beach chairs and toys that made our beach stay comfortable and fun! The location is in close proximity to the beach and boardwalk it was easy to bounce back and forth throughout our stay.

Only a couple of miles from the beach, close to eateries and stores, this unit was great! Clean as a whistle, welcoming to my elderly pup with a dog bed and food bowls, a sunflower- themed breakfast table all set…looking forward to staying here again!!

In general it is a nice place to stay. Bed sheets and towels were clean, although not all beds and pillows had protection covers. Some of the bed sheets were of good quality and some were not. Most disturbing it was an weird smell in the house, especially at the entrance, kitchen and living area. The smell didnt go away even after we place the aromatizers, which we had to buy ourself as the house did not have any. The porch and veranda were not clean. There was dust and spiders nets everywhere in the porch and veranda. There was no dishwasher or laundry detergent and no spare trash bags. Everything else was ok.

They should not have a monitor size tv. Terrible!! Second bathroom was bad!

Overall a very relaxing experience!

great VRBO just up the road from Bethany. Clean, quiet. Spacious. Accessible. Wifi was hit or miss but aside from that., no complaints. Will stay agian.

Writing this review as I value an honest review when looking for a home best for our family. We were a group of 3 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 19 months. We have been traveling to Bear Trap Dunes for the past eight summers. We usually stay in a townhouse with more people, but stayed in a condo this stay since we had less people. We have always loved the places we stay and rebook right away for the next summer. We were sadly not thrilled with our stay at 53e. Pros: Size is good for 6 people. Air conditioning works well.Microwave, oven and refrigerator work well.Linens. Cons:This place needs some TLC. If extra cleaning is being done for COVID resulting in a later check in, we should not have seen what we did. Coffee pot had dead bugs in it. Electric can opener was so dirty we decided not to even use. All pans and cooking utensils needed to be cleaned before use. Mugs needed to be cleaned. The air vent in the living room was full of dust, so the air filter was way beyond needing to be changed. Mattress cover on pull out couch had a large brown stain. Needs to be replaced or washed. There is NO working gas grill! We were very disappointed as we planned all of our meals around having a grill. There were two gas grills. Both look like they haven’t been used in years! Rust and broken grill grates. There was a charcoal grill, but was full of ash and grate needed to be scrubbed. At this point we were so annoyed that I didn’t even want to deal with cleaning the charcoal grill. Master bed is very firm. If you like firm beds you will love it, but we found it to be very uncomfortable causing restless nights. It’s also VERY squeaky. If you have a baby or toddler in your master bedroom they will be woken with every turn you make, even with a fan and noise machine going. Hallway toilet kept clogging. We were not using too much tissue or putting anything that shouldn’t be in it. Also, in hallway bathroom the bathtub water drains while plugged after a couple of minutes making it difficult to give your child a bath. Master shower was too tight to use as a tub as you couldn’t get to your child properly with the glass doors. All four green patio chairs are chipping. Doesn’t seem like a problem until you realize your toddler took a chip of the peeling chair and is putting in their mouth! As expected the grounds were kept beautiful throughout the development. Pool was great. Staff friendly as always. We have never experienced these type of issues at Bear Trap Dunes. Once this unit has some extra attention for the above mentioned items and gas grill is replaced it will be great.

Great experience, the house was simple and I personally appreciated that. AC worked great for when it was hot out.

We loved the quiet and simplicity. The outdoor screened in and unscreened porches were our favorite.

Excellent location. The products within the house were definitely cheap. I don't know how to say it any different than that as, I'm referring to paper towels toilet paper and other products. Could use a larger TV in the living room.

Great community. Perfect stay

There were four light bulbs out,no microwave dishes, felt kitchen could have a few more items. The elec. can opener didn’t work. The two bbq’d in back, one charcoal and one has were both very rusty and not usable. The hedges had put holes in the screens. Beds were comfortable . Plenty of hot water. Great location! Pool was excellent!

Due to Covid, the beach shuttle wasn't running & there was no use of indoor pool. The resort still wanted $35 per person a week for use of outdoor pool. The pool closed every 2 hours for cleaning & you had to leave the area. No discount for daughters who were there a few days. The unit living area & kitchen was very nice & roomy. The master bath was very small. We frequently had problems with the cable feed to master bedroom. The screened porch was nice, but there was a hole where the gutter fell & it was still hanging there. A large tub of dirty laundry was on the front porch the whole time we were there. The worse, though, was communication with the manager...basically none. We never got a reply to emails or phone calls starting weeks before our vacation. We received no packet to report problems, though a paper on the frig said we were to have one. Parking in Bethany is now a nightmare. We don't plan a return to Delaware & were very disappointed.

Found trash behind nightstands in both bedrooms, huge hole in screen on porch, TV connectIon not good in master. We also found a dirty vase with moldy rubber gloves inside it under the bathroom sink. Other than the cleaning and maintenance issues we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in December. Very quiet neighborhood.

The property is exactly as advertised. Comfortable, clean, spacious and in a very convenient location. The appointments don’t lend to a luxurious feel, but neither are they spartan. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Very nice condo! Easy to get to the beach and condo seemed to have everything you needed.
