The view and easy access to the beach made this a hassle free vacation. The decor was a bit dated but very well maintained.

We loved the beach and sea colony in general, but the condo wasn’t very updated for the price. Had multiple friends stay at much nicer and updated condos for the same or cheaper.

This place is gorgeous! Cannot beat the beach view! Great proximity to everything in Bethany Beach. Stocked kitchen and comfy beds are a plus! Bathroom/furtniture/decor is a bit outdated but it did not bother us one bit !

The view was wonderful

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful oceanfront condo, and it exceeded all expectations! The condo itself was sparkling clean and very well-appointed. It felt immediately inviting and comfortable. One of the things we appreciated most was the fully stocked kitchen. There were a wide variety of dishes, glasses, pitchers, utensils, tools, pots, pans, and even baking dishes. You don't need to bring a thing from home to whip up meals during your stay. The view was simply stunning! Waking up to the sound of the waves and falling asleep to the cool sea breeze was pure bliss. Another big plus was the comfort of the beds. They were firm yet comfortable, and the linens were crisp and clean. We slept soundly every night, feeling completely rejuvenated each morning. Overall, our stay at this oceanfront condo was fantastic. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, and stunning views made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway!

We enjoyed a great "March break" getaway here. It was unseasonably warm the week we were here, so we had several wonderful days on the beach, and it was nearly deserted. Our own private beach! This home is very comfortable, had everything we needed, and has an amazing view of the ocean. We even got to watch dolphins swimming by. Cape Henlopen State Park is nearby, has a great trail system, and you can even borrow bikes (for free)!

We have rented at Sea Colony for several years and never had an issue. This time was a last minute booking and we knew we were getting a somewhat dated unit when we rented based upon the photos on the WhimStay website. But, it was oceanfront, with a large balcony and that was our biggest priority. Imagine my surprise when I check into the unit and the screen door to the ocean front balcony doesn't work. it's in the wide open position and it won't close - at all. I immediately called Vacasa and a maintenance worker stopped by on his way home that day to take a look. He was unable to address the issues and that was the last I saw or heard from Vacasa for the remainder of my 3 night/4 day stay - even after I called them 4x's to address the issues in the unit. Besides the broken screen door (which left me unable to leave the balcony door open during my stay because of the spring bug issues) the windows themselves were absolutely filthy. I went to the Sea Colony office and they provided me with a Manager in the Vacasa office to contact and she never returned my calls. I was forced to contact my credit card to dispute the charges for this rental. All we wanted was to be able to open the balcony door and listen the waves during our stay while we worked remotely and that was not an option. Vacasa didn't seem to care one bit about the issues in the unit and now it will reflect poorly on the homeowners, Vacasa and Sea Colony. We will never rent a unit that is being managed by Vacasa again.
