This place was perfect for our large family gathering. With 5 spacious bedrooms and ample common area space, everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the gated backyard which was perfect for safe, playtime for the youngest in our group. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the neighborhood was just wonderful. You can tell it is/was a well lived in and loved home :)

Our large family ( great- grandmother, grandparents and two sets of adult children plus their families, 11 in all) foregathered in Los Angles for Thanksgiving. This was THE PERFECT house in all respects. As we said to Sharon, the delightful, responsive and hospitable proprietor, the house reminded us all of the Room of Requirements at Hogwarts! Every time anyone wished for or needed anything, it was magically found in this treasure trove of a house. There was plenty of space and implements to cook and serve at home, many games and tables for games, an extraordinarily well-stocked library. This gracious and immaculate house had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all extremely comfortably, easy to access wifi, more televisions than we needed ( to the delight of the children who seemed to need every one). We enjoyed sitting and visiting in the garden and the children played extensively in the playhouse . It should be noted that there is also a fantastic playground a 5 minute walk away. Also easy to access were supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants. Sharon was remarkably understanding and flexible about our arrival and departure times and I am extremely grateful to her for all of her many kindnesses. We very much hope to be able to rent this house again in the future and tried to be impeccable guests who will be welcomed again. Many thanks for a great home base in Mar Vista.

Great space to accommodate multi generational family. A bit outdated baths and kitchen, but it all worked. No air conditioning which was an issue for a few warm days and nights. Overall very good- excellent location.

We had a very happy and comfortable stay in Sharon’s home. As a host, Sharon is super responsive and accommodating, She is a fast and reliable communicator , which is much appreciated when traveling to unknown destinations with larger groups of people. The home: large, bright, spacious, with comfortable furniture and mattresses. There are two dining tables indoors , and an outdoor patio dining table and ample seating. Two of the five bedrooms have either a king or queen bed plus one futon each for additional sleeping options. I can’t stress enough how well suited this house was for our group of 12. 12 is a lot of people ! But you just don’t feel it in this house. Kitchen is fully equipped and updated. Laundry machines are enormous and in an easy and convenient location (right off of kitchen). Back yard has enough space to toss a frisbee and kick a soccer ball around. Driveway has a basket ball hoop. The neighborhood is very residential, quiet and feels very safe. There is a sand playground three blocks down the road at the Mar Vista Rec Center with basketball courts as well and grassy areas for more running around. Grocery stores (Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s) are a ten minute WALK away. There are pharmacies a short drive away and many restaurants close by as well. The location is really pretty perfect as you are around 20 minutes from the airport . Venice Beach is close by as well, and for runners, a pleasant jog away. Driveway space is enough for two cars packed in tightly and there is also ample street parking. There is no AC so this is a consideration If you travel in the summer , though each room has a fan and at least 3-4 rooms have ceiling fans as well. I have no idea how hot it may feel in the dry LA summer heat, so I can’t say if having no AC is a big deal or not. We were there when daily temps were in the 60’s and 70’s and had no use for it. Other cool features are the wood burning fireplace, a charcoal outdoor grill , and an upstairs family room filled with sunshine, hundreds of books, board games,, musical instruments (piano, tambores, wooden flutes from all over the globe) and a karaoke machine! Kids had so much in this room. We would recommend this home wholeheartedly to others and would stay again. Thank you, Sharon, for opening up your gorgeous family home to us. Our trip would not have been nearly as comfortable and enjoyable otherwise!

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at this house twice with family and it’s so great! Has everything you need and so much space for LA! Back yard is great for the kiddos. The owner is very easy to communicate with and helps with anything you need. Right down the street from grocery store, Starbucks, etc! Hope to come back again!

Great space for large groups with adequate bathrooms as well. Easy to get to places, especially in Santa Monica and Venice areas. Fast communication with hosts. We only wish there was AC (as open windows is not an ideal solution especially if you’re trying to keep noise contained in this quiet neighborhood). Otherwise, great place to stay

The house was true to picture and perfect for a group of 6 women who all got their own room. And with 4 bathrooms everyone was able to shower and whatnot without waiting too long. The location was perfect, especially given how long it takes to get to everything in LA county due to traffic. Sharon was a wonderful host and very accommodating. For example, when we needed extra paper towels she had someone quickly deliver them that day. All in all, it was a great stay and everything functioned properly.

We loved the Reunion House! It was a perfect for our family and the location was great too. The neighborhood is very nice with Ralph's down the street and Whole Foods nearby. With the beaches and the airport only about a 10-15 minute ride, made this the perfect weekend reunion spot. We spent most of our time in the main part of the house. We all fit comfortably together inside or outside or a combination of both. The kids loved the playhouse and lawn to run around, while the big picture windows let the adults watch and stay inside if it was too hot or cold (spring weather) for them. The kitchen had everything we needed. The one area we didn't have time to really enjoy was the library. What a cool collection of items! If you're looking for a cozy place to gather, we highly recommend the Renuion House. Sharon was great as a hostess. Thorough and simplicity. I especially loved the ease of check in and check out. She was also very responsive to our requests. Some loved the pillows, some didn't, but when you have that many people, you can't always please everyone on every little thing. Sharon, thanks again! We'll be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO. The owner was so accommodating and responsive to my phone calls and requests before we arrived. The house was perfect for our needs--bedrooms were huge with very comfortable beds, the kitchen/living space was just what 10 people needed and the parking was plentiful. The playhouse in the back yard was a hit with the little ones and the adults spent lots of time on the backyard patio. It really felt like we had been invited to stay at a friend"s home.
