Everything about our stay in Placencia was wonderful. This house is amazing. It is exactly as pictured although the pictures cannot do it justice. The beds are comfortable, the bed linens white and soft, and the house is pristine. The pool is steps from the beach club and from 11-5 every day the club is at your disposal and those who work there are just plain fantastic. The pool is infinity and as you lean against it’s wall you look out at the Caribbean Sea—with a rum drink in your hand you might start to wonder how you ever live when you’re not here. Shane was so incredibly helpful in setting up our tours, accommodating our needs and letting us just have fun. We chose snorkeling and touring the Mayan ruins and spending a LOT of time in our pool and on the beach and all of it was truly almost unbelievable. The three king beds and the queen accommodated our needs perfectly (each room has its own bath) but there was also a set of bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. If you want to experience Belize and see how people here live—book Casa del Sol and get ready for a wonderful trip!!!!

Eight family members in a four bedroom, four bath house with a pool, a beach and the ocean. What could possibly go wrong? Well, actually, nothing. What could possibly be better? For starters, on top of a great house and a great location, there are things like the sidewalk into town being so close, the Chillpoint with its coffee for the morning, ice cream for the evening and wine for all hours, and the proximity to the Placencia Beach Club and its magnificent poolside bar. As if that were not enough, there is Shane, who makes everything happen and smiles through everything no matter what, as well as his staff, who are at all times both unobtrusive and incredibly helpful. Seriously, this experience was amazing. From the few excursions to the multiple meals prepared by a chef, no matter what we hoped the experience would be, this exceeded it and then some. Maybe the best part was spending hours at the private pool with our family, just enjoying one another and the time together. Cannot recommend this house and this experience strongly enough.

This was a great house. Everything was as pictured and described. Shane was very proactive, emailing us before our stay to give us helpful suggestions and provided us a overview of the town and what we could expect. Shane pick up groceries for us so we'd have something at the house when we arrived. It was especially appreciated as our flight was delayed and we arrived late. On the night we arrived, Shane was available to check us in and gave us a dinner recommendation-which was very helpful and appreciated. We had plenty of space, loved hanging out at the pool and having drinks beach club. The location was great - not too far from anything (most places were within walking distance), but not so close you felt like you were on top of people. We rented a golf cart from Shane and drove it around town, when we didn't want to walk. On our last day, Shane once again gave us a recommendation on where to have lunch in Belize City. If you dive, the diving in Placencia is great - but note, the dive sights are 30 minutes to 1 hour away. We had wonderful meals every night. Highly recommend Omar's and Wendy's and if you like rum, visit the rum bar by the The Shak restaurant (in town by the water).

We visit Placencia regularly, always staying at different rentals. This time we had 4 friends coming with us. Casa del sol was perfect for a couples stay! The home is beautiful, great A/C, great location next to the beach club and steps away from the sidewalk entrance. The staff was great and very responsive to our needs. Would recommend this place completely! We are even considering it for our family vacation in 2024 - there are 14 of us!

Casa Del Sol has an amazing view. We loved the pool and beach combo. The lower level veranda was spacious and comfortable. Shane was the perfect host. He answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. Our teenage boys really enjoyed the paddle board and kayaks.

The villa was very spacious inside and on the balconies and first floor varanda. The furnishings were high quality. The pool was very nice and inviting on the warm Placencia days and the trees provided shade during the afternoon. The special bonus was to have Shane as the concierge since he owns the Placencia Beach Club next door to the villa and provided us access to their facilities on the day of arrival before the villa check in time. He was pleasant and attentive throughout. That arrangement provides enhanced value to the villa accommodations.

Casa Del Sol is the perfect place to enjoy Belize! We were two families with kids, and we could barely drag them out of the beautiful pool every day to go explore. The house is close to everything you need, especially the Beach Club and the amazing Chillpoint, which had wine, delicious ice cream, and coffee! The house felt safe, the beach was gorgeous, and Shane was right there and ready to help if we needed anything. We’ll definitely be back!!

The perfect base for Placencia - ocean and private pool out the back door, walking distance to the village (down the beach or road), acres of indoor space, huge covered deck, large open deck, next door to the Placencia Beach Club (for drinks and food) and Chillpoint (for coffee and breakfast)! Concierge Britney can arrange anything! Owner Shane checks on you as needed (lives next door). Wonderful all around!

Wonderful property in a great location! The kids loved the pool and loved being able to go from pool to beach. We took advantage of access to tropical drinks right next door. The house is perfect for three couples or multi generational family.

We enjoyed our 8 days at Casa Del Sol! We were a group of 11 people, family and friends. It was a great place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and get some beach time and sunshine too. We had plenty of room for all of us. Great indoor space, bathroom for each bedroom and the 2 1/2 bathrooms made it very convenient. The outdoor space to hang out during the day by the pool and to gather and play games at night and have dinner. The pictures are very accurate! Location: Quiet, private, yet a close walking distance to all that you need. The Beach Club next door was awesome great food and drinks along with friendly helpful staff. We enjoyed having our own pool and a having the beach just a few steps away. Our host Shane and our Concierge Britney were wonderful to work with from booking, to tour planning, transportation coordination to and from airport. They also arranged for our first groceries to be picked up and ready for us when we arrived. We were well taken care of and enjoyed our time. We would love to come back and stay again. Book it, you won't regret it!!

Family Thanksgiving break was hassle free in a delightful setting. Shane could not have been more helpful and the staff at the Placenia Beach Club and at the house were all lovely.

This place is the most beautiful property along the beach. The pool is absolutely amazing. The house layout is wonderful with each room having its own bathroom. It is right next door to the beach club which adds a nice variety if you want to make your way over for some lunch and a cocktail. The location is just right as you feel you have the beach to yourself but not too far from the nightlife of the town. The hosts are unbelievably responsive and accommodating, they answered all of our questions and we are able to book meals and tours with them. They even had all of our groceries bought and in the fridge upon arrival! We would 100% recommend! The hardest part was leaving such an amazing place.

This property was so perfect for our family. We had 10 adults and 4 littles (ages 4-8). The property was well maintained, the layout worked well for everyone to have some space and come together, the beach club next door was quite convenient, but the most under advertised part of the trip was the property management team. Shane and Brittany from the Placencia Beach Club were so helpful in getting our tours set up, the chefs hired and of course all the back and forth questions about transportation and local amenities. The place is right on the beach, so we were paddle boarding and kayaking each morning and swimming in the pool every day. Our Xunantunich and Cave Tubing tours, Snorkeling, Scuba and Monkey River were all fantastic. The chefs that Shane and Brittany organized for us made the most delicious meals with fresh local ingredients each day. Highly recommend this VRBO and the Placencia Beach Club too!

We had 13 of us staying here for a friends getaway and it’s the perfect location. The beach, pool and beach club next door are all amazing and within walking distance to all Placencia has to offer. We will definitely be back and stay here again!

Our family celebrated my 60th birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary here in Placencia. This house was perfect. Shane and Brittany made sure all our plans were made and the excursions were amazing. Being next to the Placencia Beach Club made us feel we were in a resort setting yet having privacy to be with the family. The pool was perfect after long adventurous days. We will be back. The team who helped us while at Casa del Sol was wonderful. Shane was always available yo answer questions and Trinity was welcoming as we walked off the tiny plane in Placencia. The house is situated in a quiet area but it is just steps away from a family friendly Beach club which provides access to any kind of fun beach drink you can imagine! The sea was warm, the grounds clean and taken care of, everyone was helpful in connecting us to day adventures. Truly a lovely place in a welcoming, small village.

Casa Del Sol was nestled just outside the heart of Placencia… with a nearby walking path, friendly faces and beautiful views, it was the perfect location for our group of 10. We had minor power outage issues and the mosquitos were vicious at sunrise and sunset however, we enjoyed our stay and will look to return in the near future! It was such a nice touch too that the property manager and his team offered to make the first grocery run for us and have everything waiting inside the house upon arrival!

Casa Del Sol is an awesome place to stay if you're planning on visiting Placencia Belize. Shane is the best property manager ever! My trip from start to finish was fantastic. I reached out to Shane months prior to the trip about my plans and he was able to put me in contact with really great people for the tours that I was seeking. There was around the clock security that stayed out of the way but was readily available if needed. Staff from the beach club next door were friendly and helpful as well. I will be sure to reach out to Shane when we return in a few months.

The villa was wonderful. Plenty of room for our family of 7 adults and 2 grandkids. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. The location was perfect, walking distance to several great restaurants and shops. The grounds are gorgeous (the pictures don’t lie) pool cleaned twice during stay and beach raked daily. Shane was a great host, the communication before and during our visit was very helpful. He helped arrange a surprise birthday party for my wife with live music and beach barbecue. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property with private beach/pool/adjacent beach club. 4 large private bedrooms with bathrooms (only 4 of us, but could accommodate 3x that number as one room had two bunk beds), two kitchens, large upstairs deck. Adjacent high end beach club/bar/restaurant open Tuesday-Sunday 11am - 5pm that family used often during our 6 days there. June is beginning of rainy season, but the majority of our days were sunny/partly cloudy allowing us to enjoy several day trips. Placencia downtown is easy, safe walking distance for restaurants/shops/etc. Shane, the manager of this property and the owner of the adjacent beach club, is the star of this show. He provided us concierge-level service and communication, coordinating excursions/transport/etc. Top notch. Overall, a wonderful vacation in a beautiful country.

Gorgeous views, spacious and quiet private beachfront with a perfectly refreshing private pool. Air conditioning pumped throughout the house and everything felt up to date and clean. The dual kitchens/en-suite was a perfect set up for our three families with kids ranging from 4 months to 13 years. Never felt like you were on top of someone and so much room to find your quiet place, although we spent about every minute in the pool. Added bonus is access to the beach club next door with fantastic food, drinks and staff. Then there was the property manager, Shane. If I could rate him 6 stars I would. He was immediately available for questions, recommendations or help when it was requested. We had a guest wake up with immense back pain and reached out to him for a masseuse that could travel. He went out of his way to accommodate us and have someone there within hours, which in the off season on late notice was impressive. That’s not the only way he relieved our concerns, as we had travel issues come up at the end of our stay and he-again- came up with an immediate solution and put the group at ease. Don’t pass on this property for your group stay. Thanks again, Shane!

Casa Del Sol is a little slice of paradise. It has the perfect tropical location with your own private beach and pool and massive decks and covered terraces. Have a nap in one of the hammocks, take the kayaks or paddle boards out and make friends with the dolphins, or lounge in the infinity edge pool with direct views of the swaying palm trees and beach. Don’t forget to walk a few feet to the Placencia Beach club for pina colada's any day you like. Shane is the most helpful host you’ll ever find - helping with golf cart to tool around town, groceries waiting for you when you arrive, shuttle to and from the airport, even Covid test scheduling for return travel if required. Book this immediately if you like being happy.

Shane was "unbelizeably" helpful and a wonderful host. He helped us schedule our excursions, rented us out golf cart, and took care of every question or need that we had. The house is located on the most spectacular part of the beach. Highly recommend. The next-door Beach Club is also a real wonderful perk!

Spent 1 week on the property with my family celebrating my father’s 70th birthday in March. Shane and the crew made sure everything was perfect and that we wanted for nothing. Having the beautiful beach club next door was a real bonus! It was great to be able to pop over there for a drink or lunch. The sailing day trip, cave tubing, and the private chef prepared fish dinner we enjoyed on the top patio were highlights for us.
