This VRBO fit our needs perfectly. It was bright and cheerful with really lovely wall art. It was a small kitchen, but fully equipped. My only reservation was no air conditioning.

The cottage was perfect for our 5 day family vacation. We had easy access to multiple beaches. I was able to go kayaking from a put in right down the street from the cottage. The cottage was clean and user friendly. The owners have a nice binder with useful guides, maps and suggestions for enjoying the area. We would definitely visit again.

Perfect for our stay, ~20 minutes from downtown Newport, a 10 minute walk to a local beach. The only cons are no A/C and having the hosts on the property several times throughout the visit.

Perfect sized house for my small family of 3. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out on narrow river which was close enough down the street to just wheel the kayaks to. The house was very clean and the owners we very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed including towels, paper products, beach chairs, umbrella and kitchen items. The house was on the small side but so cute and tastefully decorated you barely notice. The outdoor gas fire pit was definitely a plus too.

Everything from the location to the house itself suited myself, daughter, and granddaughter perfectly!

We chose this property because we wanted to come down to the area to see family, but not actually stay with family and it was close by. Like I said, overall it was really wonderful. The layout was nice and having the washer/ dryer was huge. In a pinch, I would absolutely stay here again. There are, however, a couple things that I noticed that I think could be remedied. I’m super sensitive to dust and the minute we walked in I started sneezing, which confused me because everything looked incredibly clean. Then at one point I got down to plug something in to the power strip under the bed and holy dust bunnies! It was like no one had ever cleaned under the beds. This is less of a property issue and more of an issue with whoever is cleaning the house to ready it for guests. The other thing is that the sink in the bathroom is hilariously small. I couldn’t even wash my face at that sink for fear of getting water everywhere so I just used the tub instead, which also looked like it needed a good scrubbing. Like I said, these weren’t dealbreakers, and I would stay here again. But maybe I’ll bring a Dustbuster next time, lol.

Stayed to attend a college graduation. The cottage is adorably decorated, with an updated kitchen. Very clean. Thank you for including sheets and towels! Highly recommend.

Great house, In a great location

It was seem less to rent this property and the communication with the management company was superb!

The house is in terrific condition and comes with all sorts of excellent amenities (beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards, two kayaks). The host, Jen, was very friendly and responsive. And the location is good -- residential, but a short drive to a bunch of beaches, downtown Narragansett, the Block Island ferry, etc. One note of caution: it does not have A/C, and we happened to be there during a bit of a heat wave. Though there are ceiling fans in almost every room, they didn't do much and there's not much cross-ventilation.

This was my first time discovering the wonderful State of Rhode Island! I was so lucky to come across a vacation rental company, like EVOLVE, who seem to have cornered the market on the most friendly, patient and accessible customer support staff! They made this process easy and l felt as if l was their only customer! Now, on to our Narragansett cottage, where we spent my birthday week with family… Jen Wokoske, owner and host of our home away from home for that week, was warm, accommodating and accessible from the moment l was given her contact information. She has gone out of her way, to set up a well kept, updated and clean home. The description was accurate, down to the room with the bunk beds being better suited to kids. They supplied extras in the outside shed, that were of great use to our trip to the beach. It is best suited to 4 adults and 2 children, however, we did put a not so tall adult in the bottom bunk. There are a few beach towels, but definitely bring your own. The kitchen was well outfitted with all the necessary items you will need. Though the house does not have AC ( which l cluelessly forgot to check), there are ceiling fans ( no fan in kid’s room), that really are sufficient to keep you fairly cool. The drive to a public beach is less than 10 minutes and it wasn’t a problem. Within a mile of the cottage, there are a couple of stores, that are sufficient for your grocery needs, plus drug stores and gas stations, near by. I have no problem recommending this Narragansett cottage to future renters. I truly feel you will enjoy your stay. Laura M.

My family of four had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage was clean, well appointed and just the right size. The quiet residential location is close to beaches, restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed using the kayaks on the narrow river which was a very short walk. The rental process was easy, as was communication with the property owners. I would definitely recommend the cottage and would rent again in the future.

My girlfriends and I gathered here - them from NY, me from NC - and used it as a base surrounding my daughter's baby shower weekend. So comfy. Perfectly appointed. Easy location. GREAT fire pit! I can't wait to come back. The owners are so responsive and helpful.

I had a great weekend. Very relaxing just as I expected it to be. Narragansett town beach was really close & it was so nice definitely recommend going there bring money because there’s food shops if you drive around & areas to eat! 10/10 recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet laid back vacation!

It’s obvious the owners took great care in making this rental comfortable for their guests. All of the appliances were brand new. The decor was the perfect coastal theme. They thought of everything from extra blankets, fresh linens, well-stocked kitchen, and a welcome basket of treats. Hoping to return this summer when we can enjoy the firepit and front porch.
