Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Castaway 2 was a nice quiet place to stay overlooking the river, breakwall and ocean in the heart of Harrington. The property was well equipped for short term accomodation. We found the property to be quite dusty and the windows did not seem to have been cleaned recently,we also found lolly wrappers under the beds !The worst experience was the supplied barbque had a faulty knob and when initially lighting it there was a small flare up which resulted in the loss of some of my beard,eyelashs and eyebrows. After a quick repair we were able to make it safe again.I would reccomend that this gets replaced ASAP !We have stayed there before and willl stay there again .

Awesome location, exactly as advertised, clean but not enough cleaning equipment supplied to maintain property during stay...

Clean and spacious

Accommodation ideal for a family or just 2 people.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy going to Harrington but the last 2 times we have been to Castaway 2 it hasn't been cleaned properly including the lounge which is very dirty and needs a good clean. It is cleaner when we leave and we are paying a $100 cleaning fee. Had to ring the property management company to get pin number so we could enter property the last two times as well which they are are supposed to send to you the morning of arrival.

It was a great location the veiw from the balcony was great, it was right across the road from the pub and just down the street from all the local cafes. Some of the listing photos are a little out of date as there's no bunk beds and there's so very comfortable extra seats on the balcony but that doesn't detract from anything at all, it's a really lovely space and we would definitely stay there again

Close to everything in Harrington. Clean home. Great showers.

The only issue we had was with the cooking pans/pots and toaster. They need to be thrown out and replaced. Other than that- perfect little holiday spot!

It suited our needs perfectly. Unfortunately had an issue with the previous guests rubbish not being disposed of prior to us arriving, but once advised it was dealt with. Also noticed a shortage of batteries in the remotes for the TV and air cons but managed to make it work and report this issue. Overall a clean, well maintained property.

Our holiday was very enjoyable spending time with family in Harrington. Our townhouse accommodation was excellent. Very clean spacious and the water views were excellent. Would love to stay again next trip and recommend staying here to all.
