I’ve stayed here before for work reasons and I really enjoyed it.

Shower door difficult to open and close

We stayed two nights to have a nice look around Parkes. The motor inn was a great place to stay. Close to everything, within walking distance to all the good restaurants and eateries. The manager of the motor inn was most accommodating and allowed us to plug our plug-in hybrid car into a power outlet from the laundry. The room was large with a king sized bed and a nice large bathroom. Modern smart tv so we could login and watch our regular programs. Reasonably priced as well. All in all a very nice stay.

I had never been to Parkes before and found the comfort, convenience and vibe of the Motel great.

The weather, overcast and drizzly, but that is not indicative of the Motel.

leaking shower and stains from leak(side panel, not door side), quite smelly toilet and toilet refilled loudly after using for a long time, tight parking (main issue being the backing out as turning bay was occupied by vehicles)

A quiet location, which is good as many hotels in the area have trucks going past

the room was larger than anticipated with the seating and desk being useful. the separate recess for tea and continental breakfast was useful and made the whole room very pleasant. the location in town was handy.

Nicely refurbished motel in a great location - just a short walk to a range of restaurants etc. A very comfortable king-size bed and the separate kitchenette was ideal for us, with a full-size fridge and sink. Some nice extra touches like USB charging ports and a very obliging host.

Parking isn't allocated, so you don't always get a space right outside your room.

Love the room. The bed is comfortable. I feel safe. The facilities in the room is adequate enough for me. The location of the motel is close enough to several places to eat.

Parking. The parking is a nightmare. There is a turning point. But cars are parking in there. Barely enough for my car to make turn. My car is not a big car.

The location to all facilities one might need is exceptional. Short walks to every place you may need. Rooms are more than adequate and self sufficient. Highly recommended.

parking a bit tight but fine

We didn't have breakfast there but enjoyed the facilities to make a cup of tea and heat up something in the microwave. The location was prime to be in the town but unfortunately backs onto the park/outdoor stage, and there was a major concert on from Saturday afternoon through to night time. We had driven 6 hours to Parkes to attend a family funeral/memorial service on Saturday morning and spend some time with family, so some downtime was needed, but we couldn't stay in our room because of the noise. We had to put earplugs in to try and get an afternoon nap. It would have been impossible to listen to the TV if we had tried that. Also, we could hear the people in the next door room talking and snoring!

The room itself was lovely. Good to have a kettle, toaster, microwave and good size fridge. Nice to have two chairs to sit in too.

A great location. Close to anything what traveler requires. Good food options for breakfast or dinner.
