We traveled to Knoxville for a youth football tournament but couldn't find any reasonably priced hotel rooms. We got on VRBO and luckily found this place. We absolutely loved the location and the property! It was perfect for our whole family and had something everyone loved. From the pool table, game machine, dock and huge windows over-looking the water, this place was perfect. You are an easy drive to restaurants, stores and the highway. The host Colleen was super to work with and made our weekend so easy. My daughter left some of her clothes and Colleen made sure we got them back. I couldn't recommend this place enough and would love to come back in the summer. Jason Hoover

This place was one of our favorite places we have ever stayed! So much room to spread out! Awesome outdoor kitchen that made meals a breeze. Town not far to get back and forth from! Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the Norris Lake area! 5 stars all the way, we will go back again!

Wonderful house with lots of room and well furnished for cooking and entertaining. Outdoor kitchen and lower game room were great! We also recommend twin cove Marina for boat rentals, and golfing at Deerfield was phenomenal.

Excellent property and served our group well for the week. No complaints - only praise. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to return to after boating all day. Thank you and look for us again soon!

This house has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It was the best location in the neighborhood, the dock was large and kids loved the slide. The outdoor kitchen had all of our votes. Rain or shine you could enjoy the outdoors. PAC man arcade was loved by everyone. Easy drive to and from local grocery stores and liquor store. We would recommend this house for sure! The house and location are beautiful! Our family loved hanging out and cooking in the outdoor kitchen and large dock. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

This home is close to town, the interstate and ATV riding and Twin Coves Marina. Very few steps to the lake compared to most homes in the Twin Coves area. Plenty of parking without driving down steep driveways. The great room/ kitchen has space for a large group. Our favorite part was the outdoor kitchen with Bluetooth speakers, a sink, two grills, ceiling fans and a mini refrigerator. We had a great view of the water and enjoyed the outdoor space come rain or sunshine. Would highly recommend this property!

Our family of 15 just returned from our stay at this property. Colleen was incredibly communicative and responsive before, during and after our trip. The house was spacious, well stocked and perfectly located. Several of the homes in the area had a long steep walk down to the dock, and while this location still has several steps down to the water, is was much better than the neighboring properties. The outdoor space (grilling area, yard, fire pit) were large, had plenty of seating and were updated. We rented a boat and jet ski from the nearby Twin Cove Marina. We fished from the dock, spent our days on the water and our nights enjoying the outdoor spaces of this rental. If we ever go back to Norris Lake, we will without a doubt stay here again. Thank you for such an amazing stay!

Spent the weekend with friends and had a glorious time! The house is amazing! The outdoor kitchen was a great feature and great for grilling outside! Being at the end of the road, we had lots of space! Location was close to interstate and restaurants, grocery stores, etc. House was very well equipped and we did not want for anything. Colleen was fabulous and always available for any questions we had. Thanks again to Colleen for a wonderful weekend! We will definately be back!

This place has an awesome deck/side porch area. Great place to stay and the owners respond quickly. We would recommend this place to anyone.

It was an excellent house on Norris lake with nice amenities and a good location to ride sxs's at all three riding areas in the mountains

The outdoor kitchen was really nice and we cooked out there a lot. The house was pretty outdated except the upstairs master was pretty nice. Not sure how people are giving 5 stars, I have not found a 5 star place yet. I usually don’t leave reviews either but thought I should start. Location was good for what we were there for and having the lake right there was nice but quite a workout to get down to the pier and back up was brutal. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were a little too far from this location.

It was wonderful. Would have loved having more heat/working fireplace on the basement floor. Also love the bunk beds in basement but we have 4 couples so only bunk beds in the basement made it hard but overall, we loved it!

It has more than what you need for a family reunion vacation week. We enjoyed our family reunion, and the kids love the location, pool table and nature ! Don't hesitate to reserve this property!

We enjoyed our time there over Christmas had a nice tree. Was able to have our family all together.

The house was amazing. Plenty of room, very clean, kitchen well stocked. The deck and outdoor kitchen was great even in December. We had a great time!

We booked for 4 days (which would have put us leaving in Thanksgiving morning). The host reached out to us to let us know, our check out date was part of her Thanksgiving weekend package and we could shorten the trip or book a few extra days for the additional amount. I appreciated this so much because we chose to extend-most other hosts would have just declined the rental. The host was amazing from the start and even helped us find some food options while we were traveling so we didn’t have to cook after being on the road for 12 hours. The house was super spacious & well stocked- all we had to supply was our food and personal items! We would DEFINATELY go back!

Place was clean and in very quiet area on the lake. Owner was in great communication the entire time. Would definitely stay again.

We saw this property last year on our annual visit. Perfect location. There were 6 of use so there was plenty of room in this very spacious house. We really used the outside area. It was wonderful. The outdoor cooking area was a great plus. I think I am going to buy the bluetooth speakers that were out there. A great idea. It is always nice to have a covered dock. We even sat in the boat during one of the storms. The only problem is that the narrow waterway there is not "no wake" and some folks do not use common sense when going by. The extra frig downstairs was helpful. The place could use a bit of attention as far as cleaning goes, but all in all it was wonderful. If you have a large group this house will be a good pick. You can put your boat in at Twin Cove. They have a nice ramp. Just be aware the road going to the marina is narrow with many twists and turns and up and downs.

I was a little worried driving down the road to the house… Be sure to take RIDGE Road not what GPS tells you. The pictures make some rooms look larger but let me say there were 8 adults and we all had plenty of room and it fit our family perfectly. There were extra beds for others. Bathrooms on each level was nice. There is a washer and dryer. We loved the pool table and video game machine. It is located in quiet Twin Cove area but we found we fished from dock, swam at dock, rented a Tritoon about 5 miles away and kept at house dock. We did not get to use the firepit due to rain every day but was nice area. The house was clean and all kinds of kitchen supplies. The outdoor grill was awesome! The furniture outside by the grill area was very popular to sit and view, read, or just visit with eachother. The owner was quick to answer all questions or concerns. Felt safe and the neighbors put on an excellent Fireworks display so we stayed home for the night. They all wave when they go by. If you want to spend quality family time…it is worth it. P.S. the pictures on google maps is nothing like the house! My husband googled it and I became worried but the minute I walked in… felt like home and was so clean and perfect for our needs.

This property was the perfect size for six adults and two children. In addition to all of the necessary appointments in the house, there was a fantastic outdoor deck with a cooking area that included refrigerator, gas grill, and gas stove top. Access to the lake was a few stairs that lead to a floating dock. You really don’t need to rent a boat or have a boat because the dock can be your swimming platform. We had a great time there with our family.

Nice secluded area to stay in at Norris Lake. Especially nice area for young children. The steps to the water are doable. Our stay was wonderful!

Love the outdoor kitchen Everything here was very clean and very nice. Our host was very expedient in replying to any questions that I may have. Even when there is a plumbing issue they were able to arrange a plumber to come in and fix it and worked around our schedule. The outdoor kitchen and deck area was my favorite spot in the whole place. So nice to be able to sit outside and to prepare a meal and enjoy it with others day or night. The game room was nice. Would like to see some instructions for the arcade machine, didn’t know how to operate the menu. Pool table was level sticks were straight. Another big bonus to this property is the size of TVs and the quality of the electronics they provide. Only item that was of any concern was the walk to the boat ramp. Since the lake is in low season the water level is down. You have to walk down about 20 feet of walkway that doesn’t have railings and is about 8 feet above the rocks. This was a bit of a challenge for the older people. However the boat dog is great and also a wonderful fishing spot.

We had a very nice weekend stay - the home was very clean and all the amenities were available just as listed. We had plenty of room to enjoy some family time. The weather was cold and snowy but we enjoyed how cozy it was inside. The host was very responsive to all our questions. We would definitely stay again!

We celebrated an early Christmas here. The house looked just like it did in the photos. The house was well stocked with kitchen utensils dishes and linens . We done lots of baking while there. Owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to visit in the summer.

From day one of booking, communication with Colleen was excellent! She graciously replied quickly to every question, and offered so many tips and helps to make our stay meet every need of our group. Our family - consisting of 3 generations age 18-83 - came from 4 different states, but we had no problems with parking, and the ramp leading to the deck and front entry was especially helpful in getting my mom in and out of the property. We have rented from VRBO many times, but this has to be the most well-appointed kitchen we've ever had! Everything we needed was at hand and easy to find! Plenty of room to gather around the table for Thanksgiving dinner together without feeling cramped at all. The extra fridge was a wonderful bonus that came in so handy with all the leftovers. We really liked the floor plan with bedrooms on the main floor that meant less steps for my older mom, and she could join in on the evening gatherings in the huge living room area. The younger generation loved having their own space in the lower level with the bunk room and comfy sofa perfect for their gaming competitions. The house was clean, and it was extra nice to find a starter supply of paper products and soaps in the kitchen and bathrooms. The whole experience was great - from communication with Colleen to the accommodations - certainly made our stay wonderful! We didn't get to use the dock since it was November - maybe we'll have to come back in the summer!

House was absolutely amazing! The views were beautiful! Pool table was a big hit with the boys and the outdoor kitchen area great! Can’t say enough great things about the property!

My friends and I are huge UGA football fans and try to take a trip every year to root on our Dawgs on the road. This year we decided to watch the game in Knoxville and found this place online. Everything was exactly as we'd hoped. A beautiful home overlooking the water with incredible views. I cannot put into words how amazing this trip was for our group. Excellent communication from the host to make sure we had everything we needed. Anytime I am near the Knoxville area again I fully plan to rent this property. You will not have any regrets staying here. 10/10.
