This was our 3rd stay at Seagate and it was wonderful. The house is full of amenities and so comfortable. The hosts are welcoming and attentive. Thank you for an incredible week!

If you are reading this review, I strongly encourage you to stop right here and just go book this home before it is filled up. This is a spacious, well appointed, elegant and thoughtfully put together home. It is not full of clutter like “Live Laugh Beach” signs everywhere. I had two small dogs, two children and my partner with me. We were all very comfortable in this home. The upstairs and downstairs rooms have very nice mattresses and rooms with plenty of storage. The laundry facilities are just at the back. There’s plenty of room for dogs to run around in the back and for multiple cars in the driveway. The balcony upstairs is absolutely lovely to have a glass of wine on and look at your pictures from the day at the beach. The beach is only steps away and gloriously on the quieter side. Surf Beach is a two minute drive away and you can walk along the shore front between those points. This home is impeccably clean. I cannot stress to you how spotless the home was, and we thought the linen service was excellent as well. The owners have left smart touches all over the home, such as USB ports for easy charging and smart TVs throughout the home. This is a FABULOUS find. The street is gorgeous and quiet and all the neighbors are incredibly friendly. It is a very pet friendly neighborhood. We hope to be back!

This house has great potential. But our stay was not what we hoped it would be. Our trip down was delayed because we didn’t receive the access information until less than an hour before check-in. By then we had sent texts, emails, and called VRBO wondering if we had been taken by a fictitious listing. It delayed our trip down, which started things out on the wrong foot with little recognition from the owners. The house has great bones and enjoys a terrific location on a quiet street, but there were issues: The king bed in the master has collapsed springs on one side of the bed. Picture a hammock. The kitchen is not the chef’s kitchen it’s advertised to be. It’s oddly laid out, lacks task lighting, and had ants running about. The furniture is stained and the rugs really need to be steam cleaned. But the biggest problem was the over-use of fragrances to cover-up smells. There were tubs of odor emitting gel placed around the house probably to cover the rug smell and some mildew issues in the laundry room area. All in all, it was enough to give out daughter a sinus infection, which lasted the whole trip until we got home. For most, these issues won’t likely seem like a big deal. And while they put a pretty big damper on our vacation, we still enjoyed our stay. But given the owners have jacked-up the nightly rate five-times higher for next year than what we paid this summer, there is no way the house would be worth the money in our opinion.

A rental was wonderful. The owners had everything that you would need for a great vacation. The house was really clean and enjoyable, loved looking at the ocean from the deck on the second floor.

We enjoyed our time at Seagate. The house is as pictured, beautiful, spacious and clean. The towels and sheets being provided is a big plus (no more lugging them along). The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and only steps to the beach. We have already booked our stay for next year. We are excited to go back!

Our second stay at the Seagate and have already booked a third. Everything was perfect and our guests enjoyed this classic Ocean City Gardens home. Amenities are particularly appreciated by those of us who fly across the country to visit our favorite family resort.

We loved staying at the Seagate with our two year old and five year old. There was plenty of room for all of us plus grandparents. My husband and I liked relaxing in the upstairs living room after the kids went to bed. Both of my kids made a beeline for the stairs as soon as we got in the house, but the baby gates provided by the owner made it totally safe. There were also outlet covers throughout the house. We loved the beach toys the owners keep in the garage. Being able to go to the shore with kids without having to bring every single thing we would need was such a relief. We look forward to returning!

This is a beautiful accommodation with excellent amenities. We spent a wonderful, peaceful week here. The house is very close to a wide open, unspoiled beach with nesting pipers and terns. The ocean is also visible from the upper deck, where you can hear the waves at night. The house interior was very clean and fresh. The kitchen was well kept with excellent appliances. The bedrooms were bright and spacious, and the common spaces had comfortables couches and huge TVs - Perfect for families. Finally, a big THANK YOU to the owner, Chris. He was very responsive, helpful and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay.

This house was just wonderful! Perfect location, gorgeous house, clean and every amenity possible! We loved walking our pups around the beautiful neighborhood and enjoyed easy access to the beach! Chris was a great host and easy to contact with any questions! Loved our stay here!

We rented the house for an extended stay so family could come and enjoy time at the shore as their schedule allowed. The house is in a great neighborhood and close to the beach for walks anytime. We also enjoyed the closeness to Margate for dinners out. Having the sheets, towels and hair dryers provided is very convenient. Chris was very responsive if we had questions. We enjoyed our time at Seagate!

The house was spotless, bright, comfortable and had many amenities. We had 3 generations stay here and there was plenty of room. We all loved the location and everything about the house. We hope to return in the future.

Our family visited from out of state to celebrate the 98th birthday of our mother/ grandmother/great grandmother. Since she lives nearby with my sister, this O.C. rental was a perfect fit for us to get together. The accommodations were absolutely wonderful. We would love to return.

The listing does NOT do this property justice! The location is PERFECT! There is parking for at least 4 cars—we fit 2 cars and 2 SUVS with still room for another vehicle. Each room is decorated beautifully. The cleaning fee seemed expensive when we booked but after arriving, we saw how worth that money was. The rental was immaculate. We can’t wait to book our next stay!

Rental experience was very easy and the house definitely lived up to its listing.

We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and has everything you need! We had the perfect Thanksgiving! We enjoyed long walks on the beach with the family and dog. At night it was nice to sit on the deck hearing the waves crash. We caught sunrise because it was so easy being steps from the beach. It was perfect!

We were looking for a small getaway away from crowds. This home is at the north end of the island and since we were there after the summer season, we owned the beach! The weather was perfect and the home was excellent! I have rented homes before and never have I seen a place so well equipped. The cleanliness next to none, There were towels galore! (both beach and house). I truly have never seen that. I even found hair conditioner and shampoo. Who does that?The decor is inviting and well appointed and we were so very comfortable. Even after reading the positive reviews, The Seagate still exceeded our expectations. The house had everything we could ask for - multiple coffee maker options, linens, towels (bath and beach), beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, kites, board games, etc. The open floor plan was ideal for us to gather in the kitchen and living room. The Seagate is steps from the beach, which had plenty of space. We enjoyed morning walks with our dog around the lovely neighborhood and bike rides (the bikes are also provided!) down to the boardwalk. Chris was very responsive and provided great instructions and suggestions as well. We loved our vacation at The Seagate and would love to have the opportunity to stay there again.

We had an awesome time at The Seagate. 6 adults, 2 dogs, and a child under 2, and there was plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. They thought of everything, from baby gates and beach amenities, to the all important coffee makers (Keurig, Nespresso, a drip machine, and even an electric kettle for tea)! The house is beautiful, a few steps from the beach, and a quick drive to the boardwalk. Everything was at our fingers, but most importantly, we made great memories together. Thank you for hosting us, it was a very special week.

Everything about the experience of renting this property was so smooth! The house is lovely, great location, perfect for family of any size and ages. There were so many details attended to - from baby gates and extra towels to lists of favorite things to do! This was a great vacation made better with an easy and delightful rental experience!

The owners were unbelievably responsive. House was spectacular and amenities way above expectations. Everything was supplied linens, towels, Beach towels, bicycles to name just a few things. You could bring only the food you want to eat and be set. Beach so very close and very private. Would love to stay again, but already booked for 2023.

We had a wonderful week at Seagate house. The street is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of OC but still just a bike ride away. We loved all the amenities from the beach chairs and beach towels to the grill. The house was spacious and exactly as advertised. Chris is a wonderful host and we had a great time. This beautiful house had everything, and was roomy and comfortable for our family of 8. Communication with Chris was great. We've never been in such a well-equipped rental--I love to cook and brought a bunch of equipment, but they had everything. I suggest checking with Chris to see if they already have what you need before bringing it yourself. We enjoyed the bikes, and beach chairs, and proximity to the beach. Overall, and A+ experience, and we can't wait to return.
