We had a relaxing weekend in this wonderful rental. Very clean and well-equipped. Wade, the owner, was nice and accessible. The space was well laid out, and comfortable with a great kitchen space, smart TV's, washer and dryer, and bikes and more for us to use. The house is an easy walk to the beach and has an outside shower for when you return. It's near bike trails that take you to stores, donut shops and more. We had a great stay. Thank you, Wade!

The property is well maintained, clean and very comfortable. Check in was so easy. Wade checked in a couple of times via text to make sure their were no issues. We really appreciated access to the beach chairs, bikes, and kayaks. It was a great vacation!

The stay was great and the house was clean. The Beach house sits a good 5 min walk from the beach access but it sits in a very quiet area down a road with No Outlet so that was nice!! Neighbors were nice as well. House was in great shape. Thanks for a great stay!

The property was very clean. The property manager Wade was very nice and checked in with us everyday to make sure everything was fine and ask if we needed anything. We would definitely like to stay at this property again when we visit Emerald Isle. Definitely a 5 star rating!

Absolutely a great weekend and a great house. Super quiet and close to businesses but isolated enough. Beach was gorgeous and we will definitely be coming back. Will definitely rent this house.

I brought my tween/teen daughters and their friends for a few days for Spring break. House was very clean and stocked with what we needed. Wade was a great host, super responsive and clearly wanted us to enjoy the place. We took advantage of the bikes (bring your own helmets), Bocci ball, and hammock. The beach nearby is beautiful and quiet, just what we wanted.

This home was exactly what our family needed. The owner was very polite and made sure we had everything needed - even turned on the lights for us when we arrived later than expected. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we were very happy.

Wade was an amazing host with a fantastic beach home. Wade was extremely responsive and helped make sure that we were okay (we had to find a place to charge our vehicle, he searched the island for us). The house was super clean and had everything we could possibly need. We made the right choice!

We loved the location of the house to the beach access, a short walk. And there was a beach cart if needed, as well as bikes. The house was by far the cleannest property we've ever stayed in. The owner was really good at checking in with us throughout the week via vrbo. We would definitely stay here again. Emerald Isle is beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was extremely clean and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Having a washer and dryer in the house was great as that's definitely needed at the beach. Wade was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely book here again.

Amazing property. The first thing you’ll notice upon entering is how it is super-clean. It’s not just standard things that look like they’re in place. You can tell that surfaces were sanitized, the carpet vacuumed, etc. Even more meticulous items, like scrubbed baseboards and dusted ceiling fans. It’s VERY CLEAN. Owner is very welcoming, but also respects your personal space and privacy. He cares about the property and you can tell by the appearance and upkeep. I could not imagine a better VRBO owner. Other positives: -Enormous beach gear supply: chairs, umbrellas, skim boards, boogie boards, sand toys, a hammock, bikes, and more. -Gas grill and charcoal BBQ. Both very high quality. Cleanest grill I’ve ever used in a rental, too (again, this is a well-maintained place). Not only was there a full tank of propane, there was even a back-up tank. -The pictures don’t show it yet, but the owner added a very sociable picnic table and cafe lights. It’s a nice place to have an outdoor drink and/or eat dinner. -Plenty of room in the kitchen. It’s a bit hard to see in the pictures, but there is a bench with the kitchen table. It seats 6 very comfortably. -Comfortable beds and very quiet bedrooms. I didn’t hear anything from outside once I went to bed for the night. -Open living room with enough space for 6 to lounge, or, for 2 people to do at-home workouts. -Outdoor shower is great for washing away sand before entering the home. We were able to keep much of the sand out (even with 3 kids) and keep the home from feeling gritty or grimy. Just rinse feet & dry them before entering. -Close beach access. The road crossing is not treacherous. Never a long wait—30-60 seconds. The closest beach is also very nice: not crowded at all (and we were there at the height of summer) and family friendly. -Smaller things that are easily overlooked but important nonetheless: very good/quiet ceiling fans, washer & dryer, well-stocked essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, detergent, etc.), Comfy porch deck that serves as reading/coffee perch, very fast WiFi (we had tons of devices running, too), plenty of private/safe parking, located in a very nice neighborhood, linens & towels provided, easy to use Smart TV that connects to apps. We stayed for a couple weeks and had various family and friends visit. All were very impressed and thought it was a terrific place to stay in Emerald Isle. It’s a great property with an exceptional owner.

This spot was perfect for us - plenty of space, cozy, quiet, and perfectly located. I appreciated the beach gear, bikes, and activities that were available for us to use. My big kids loved the hammock and to just chill and swing. We had a great experience with this rental.

We just returned from our week at Emerald Isle. We had a great week and were sad to leave. Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00, but the property owner actually texted us that morning around 11:00 and told us the house was available whenever we were ready. This was very helpful because we had two small kids who were excited about going out on the beach. The house was extremely clean. It was great having linens provided without an extra cost like a lot of owners require. The kitchen was mostly well-stocked. Communication with the property owner was very easy. He lives in the other unit on the property, but was always very respectful and never intruded upon our time or space. He even offered to let us stay in his side of the unit while roofers were doing some repairs on the guest-side. This wasn't necessary because we were out-and-about, but it does speak to the accommodating nature of the property owner. The only thing that may keep us from returning to this property is the location. You have to cross Highway 58 to access the beach, and sometimes we had to wait for a few minutes while dozens of cars zoomed by. It's a pretty busy road, and having two small kids with us made it a bit nerve-racking. Obviously, this isn't a reflection on the house itself, nor is it something that's within the owner's control. Overall, we had a wonderful time during our stay at this house. If you're okay having to cross a pretty busy road, this is a great, clean house with a friendly property owner.
