Great house, well furnished, beautiful view, excellent hosts.

Had a great long weekend. House was beautiful, view was even better! Our hosts were responsive and kind. Would stay again!

Beautiful house fully equipped in a beautiful setting. April and Paul have thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. We spent a 3 day weekend getting married at the lodge with our kids families, and never left the lodge enjoying family time together, cooking, eating, playing games and relaxing on the decks looking out on the valley below. Throw in some evening dancing and enjoying the gas fire ring on the deck and you have magical evening. Thanks April and Payl!!

The view from the deck is beautiful. The deck has a gas fire and seating for 8+ people, perfect for watching the sunrise and relaxing in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty to dishes, cookware, baking pans and a crockpot. There were even extra coolers in the garage, which was nice when we hiked and took a picnic lunch. We would definitely love to come back again.

Property is great for all age groups, well equipped with great indoor and outdoor space. Outside patio on lower level and deck on upper level provides more than required space for a large group to enjoy the stunning view of the valley. Property was clean. All beds, couches and furniture were comfortable. I was always well informed about check in and check out instructions.

My husband and I are in our 80's and we were joined by family from across the country, ranging from 60 to 12 years old. There was something there for everyone. The younger folks had their own area to play games, billiards, and ping pong downstairs. Since we don't do stairs well, we had everything we needed on the first floor and were very comfortable. The hosts were exceptional with how they provided little extras. They even had coffee pods for us on the first day. I feel bad that I didn't get enough to leave replacements - even my replacements were all used up before I realized it. The fact that they had both types of coffee pots, an ice cream freezer, plenty of dishes and cooking supplies made it easy to enjoy time "at home" with the gathered family having meals. We really enjoyed the fireplace on the deck in the evening when it wasn't raining, and it was wonderful there were so many seating areas outside that someone could get get away from the crowd if they needed to. I can't say enough good things about both the house and the hosts, they were responsive and so pleasant. The views are fantastic and we left with many pictures, to include the precious deer wandering everywhere. We would highly recommend this rental for any family with various ages - or anyone else. It was spectacular.

Great location with awesome views of the valley below. Our family of 10 fit comfortably in the accommodations. Owners were in contact via text or phone and were able to resolve several minor issues quickly. Well equipped kitchen and new outdoor griddle. Check in and out instructions were in written in concise clear language. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The view is absolutely amazing

This is a great place to stay! We had plenty of room, everything we needed, and the owners were communicative and helpful. The two decks in the back both had beautiful views. We had some rain the week we stayed, and especially appreciated that the lower deck stays dry so we could still sit outside. It is close to fun activities for the kids, hiking and restaurants. Comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend!

The house was even better than we expected. The views were outstanding. What I enjoyed the most was sitting outside enjoying the view. It was very peaceful and quiet. The only noise was from the birds chirping. A great getaway to be able to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There were plenty of trails nearby for hiking and there was plenty of other activities available.

There were 11 of us staying at the location. There was plenty of space for us to all be together or spread out in various locations. The deck with the propane fire pit was so relaxing. The covered lower deck was nice when the sun was too hot. Both looked over a priceless view. We saw some of the most magnificent sunrises during our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked. The pool table and ping pong were both used extensively during our stay and the large dining table allowed us to eat every meal together. The rooms were comfortable, well maintained and perfect configuration for our family. The bunk room was huge and made it possible for our kids to have a lot of space to themselves. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone and I hope to return. Thanks for the memories!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The home and the property are stunning. This was the perfect mountain vacation for our family. The host, April, was extremely helpful and kind throughout the check-in process, our stay, and the check-out process. Highly recommend!

A family getaway to celebrate. So glad we found the Kettle View Lodge. I saw the picture of the view on VRBO and did not look ant further. Surprisingly, the actual view is far superior to the picture. Everything about the experience was a 10! Great house, great hosts, great golf course almost walking distance from the house. We will definitely go back.

Our big party of 13 family members (adults, small children and teenagers) had a wonderful time staying at this mountaintop property. The views were beautiful - we spent every night out on one of the 2 comfortable decks. There is so much to do at the resort and Harrisonburg is just a short drive away. April was extremely responsive to our questions and needs. Thank you for helping us create lasting family memories!

This mountain home is fantastic! Eleven of us, 3 generations (ages 7 to 62 ), had an amazing time. Close to all resort activities, yet you feel as if you are in the clouds. This home has everything you need and the layout is perfect for gathering yet proudes privacy and space. Can’t wait to return!!!

To begin, the owners were incredibly communicative from the moment we inquired about the property, through the days leading up to our stay, throughout our stay until we had completed check out. They answered questions about the property and the area and made sure we had everything we needed. The property itself is gorgeous and incredibly well maintained. Beautiful views and a beautiful home that is so well appointed. Everything we needed was provided and the home was incredibly comfortable - making us truly feel "at home." We had a large group of 14 and we were all able to sleep comfortably and the home was spacious enough for us to gather together - and to spread out at will. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the pool room, ping pong table and games. Plenty of places to gather to watch a movie or sit around the fire. The property owners even took care of the little things like hand soap,trash bags and dishwasher detergent. When we realized we'd forgotten a crockpot or needed a colander - no worries, they were there and easy to find. When we made a last minute decision to go for a hike, the owners came through with a recommendation - and it was a phenomenal hike. We truly can't thank them enough for sharing their home with us and giving our fr-amily an amazing time together!
