So much room. Nice size hot tub. Very roomy

This was a very good place to stay. The only concern we had was the lack of detail information when booking regarding pets. We have 2 dogs, after arriving it was noted in the rule book that dogs have to stay in the downstairs. This was not a good thing,considering everyone was upstairs in the living space. To lock them downstairs caused trauma and stress. Lots of barking and scratching at the door to the upstairs. We are also asked in the rules to keep your dogs from barking, impossible with this situation. We relented, broke the rules and let them come up. We cleaned thoroughly before leaving. Other than that is was a perfect place to stay. I would suggest you list that when stating dogs allowed. It would help to decide whether or not to rent the place.

The location was ok, the home was very large, nice and clean. The pingpong table which was advertised was not fit for use, but the children enjoyed the hot tub. We were very comfortable and thrilled we could bring our dogs. Thank you to Charlie and kind staff of Meredith.

The bad: A few of us wanted to take a trip to Lincoln city and rent a home that had a hot tub, and I had read some reviews on how the hot tub was not operational but they were a few months old. So I reached out to Meredith lodging and asked if the hot tub worked, they replied saying yes it worked. We booked our dates the next day. The next day I received an email saying the hot tub did not work, so I immediately requested a full refund due to their dishonesty about the hot tub. I hadn’t received a reply so I called, the person I talked to was rude and no help, and said they refused to give a refund due to VRBO(because it was less than a week from our dates). So I let them know I would contact Vrbo and she told me that would not be necessary and the hot tub would be fixed by our check in date.. to no surprise we arrive and the hot tub is untouched, the lid is covered in needles from the trees. I reached out to Meredith lodging because they told me they would refund the hot tub fee if it wasn’t fixed by our stay. They emailed back saying there was never a hot tub fee, but they would give us a small credit for a future stay. We still have never seen the credit. We felt that Meredith lodging was dishonest over and over again. We would have booked a different home that had an operational hot tub had we known from the beginning. The good: Charlies place itself was awesome all around! It was roomy, and cozy. The perfect place for family or friends to stay.

The house it wonderful, very well set up and clean, great set up tonstay in and a quick walk to the casino. However a major point in us booking it was the hot tub, which we quickly found to not be in working order. This was the main deciding factor in booking this house as opposed to others so finding that it was not usable with no warning was quite disappointing. I would also warn to make sure and read all of the check in materials they have at the house as the neighbor has no problem calling the management at any point if you have a vehicle so much as touch the road while parked and will make sure you are recieving constant calls even as you are walking back to the property. That being said lovely place to stay, just wish they had disclosed the hot tub situation.

Great house for family to stay together, especially when traveling with dogs. Plenty of space for everyone and great location to beach.
