We had a wonderful time at this property. It was the picture place for our family (5 adults, 2 kids) the location was amazing. Super close to the ski slopes and equally close to shopping and restaurants. The house was adorable and the views were breathtaking.

I will say I really enjoyed staying in this home. I love steamboat and I try to spend a weekend every year here for my birthday in October. It is such an amazing time to see the fall colors change. I really loved waking up and having coffee on their spacious patio displaying the Yampa valley. We were even able to watch a hot air balloon. The location was exactly what I had hoped for. The kitchen was great - our group cooked almost all our meals and had (almost) everything we needed. I also liked the modern amenities such as the washer/drier/fridge/dish washer and TV's that we were able to watch Amazon Prime on with a guest log in. I was overall very satisfied with our stay. I loved the charm of this cabin. I did ask for feedback from my group if they would like to stay again... and they were hesitant about a few things... 1. We did have flies in the house. We opened the windows and most of them left. ( It is the mountains and I have stayed in mountain homes that just have these kinds of things) 2. The shower pressure upstairs was not as good as the pressure downstairs. Even though we tried to keep the water inside the shower pan there was still a few drips of water into the kitchen downstairs. 3. The floors and doors are a bit creaky / squeaky (it is a vintage cabin - so I understand personally) 4. It was warm upstairs, and opening the windows using the fans made a big difference. Overall, we had a great time at this VRBO. The location was great and the place had a lot of character. The hosts were very nice and check-in/check-out was a breeze. No major issues throughout the stay. That said, the air conditioning appears to have been installed post-construction and doesn’t feed into any of the bedrooms (or so it seemed at least). As a result, the bedrooms were quite warm (the floor fans they provided helped a bit but they didn’t cool off until the outside temp dropped enough). The cleanliness was also lacking. We have two young children that stayed with us and after picking one of them up and noticing their feet, we realized just how dirty the floors throughout the house were. They definitely don’t seem to have been cleaned anytime recently. There were also a number of dead flies and wasps all over. Overall, I would recommend as long as you’re ok with the lacking cleanliness and no AC in the bedrooms.

On arrival, we could not enter the property. The front door was damaged and broken. Obviously not a new problem since someone had tried to Jerry rig a handle to make the front door latch work properly. It took us several hours and a phone call to the property manager to get this figured out. Not what we wanted at the end of a long drive. The other problem is that the unit is hot, especially upstairs. There is no air conditioning. Otherwise we found the unit clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the amenities which have been placed in the kitchen, such as coffee, filters, dish soap, paper towels, etc. This was a very nice feature. In conclusion we might rent this unit again, but we would probably try harder to find a different one before doing so.

Josh and Lacey are wonderful hosts. Everything was as promised. The property was clean and well appointed. The views are spectacular. Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time here in Steamboat. The place fit 8 of us comfortably. Amazing views and even our neighbors were very kind! We had a homemade personal pizza night and the home had everything we needed to cook. Such a fun and unforgettable experience with my mom and my best girlfriends!

Don’t believe earlier not so great reviews. The house is well appointed and very comfortable. If you enjoy eating in, this place is perfect. The kitchen has all the tools you need for cooking as well as drinking coffee, cocktails, red wine, white wine & champagne! Great location, convenient to everything yet private enough. Amazing views off the spacious deck, complete with patio table, chairs, umbrella and a great grill! We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Josh and Lacey!

Somewhat rustic and fantastic. Host is very attentive

Easy to find, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well set up, lots of floor space for young one in a walker, older kiddo with toys. Hosts were fantastic! Very thoughtful and responsive. The deck is large and has a spectacular view. Easy walk to some nice places near resort, short drive into town for more variety.

Overall impression - it was a nice/clean place to stay. Stocked well with essentials and overall fit well for our family to stay. I wouldn't say the next items are necessarily bad, just things that weren't expected. First off, the unit was not as big as what the pictures would make you think, and it was a little off-putting to know that the space is actually "shared" with tenants who rent below (so you have to watch the "noise" between certain hours which is hard if you have kids) The upstairs shower leaked no matter where the placement of the shower curtain was (which was always in as requested) and the main floor entertainment (dvd player etc.) didn't work (no cords connecting). Overall, it was a decent place to stay for the price. (Also, just a heads up - the upstairs bedrooms may not be the best place for older people or anyone with bad joints to stay as the stairs going down are pretty steep)

Extremely happy with this property. The host(s) supplied all the 'extras', including flowers for Mother's Day - well stocked kitchen. The view from the deck was fabulous. Quiet neighborhood. My family and I had a wonderful weekend at this location.

Owner Josh was super nice and gave us an early check-in. Thx! Buuuut, don't be fooled by the pictures. The deck looks beautiful with a nice BQ grill but was not accessible in winter nor did it have a grill. House is older with poor insulation , windows and door. Creaky floors with a poor heating system. Hot Upstairs or cold down. Upstairs shower is a water saver shower head and only puts out a mist. Hard to figure out the hot water. The actual shower head is loose inside the wall and leaks into the kitchen below. Owner said on a review in 2022 this would be fixed but is still broken 2023. Many blinds are nonfunctional or missing. Bifold doors come off track. Upstairs dresser is not the one pictured, drawers are broken and had personal items in them. Socks, underwear, etc. There was no hand soap nor dishwasher soap. Instructions said to check the dresser drawer in the mud room but none was found. Some boxes of tissue would have been nice. Very disorganized closets stuffed with junk. It's seems that the owner is the cleaner and does not have it professionally done. Outside driveway was covered in ice. ( I know it's been a tremendous snow year) but was not plowed efficiently. Sorry Josh but we were disappointed with our stay. I hope you can get some things fixed. 2 out 5 ☹️

Great location

We loved our stay here! The house was very cute and easy access to the bus stop only a 3-minute walk away. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and the hosts were responsive! Our only complaint is that the water pressure in the upstairs shower was really low so we primarily used the downstairs shower. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay!

Perfect cottage for a Christmas out of town and skiing. Very convenient to everything in town and the ski resort. House was well furnished and very comfortable.

Over all the stay was ok! I think I expected a little more for that price. The place was slightly hard to find at first, we got a late start so we didn’t get there until after dark which was our fault, but there were no lights on so we had to use our phone light to make sure it was the correct place. The place is obviously an older property, the door was a bit jammed and had really push it open. Also the property didn’t seem to have much insulation because you could hear everything from every room. We also had a number of flies and bees we found in the place during our stay. I only gave it a 3 for cleanliness because despite the place looking wiped down, when I went to make coffee there was still old coffee from previous guests in the coffee maker. Yuck! The towels provided were all beginning to have that old towel/mildew smell. Also mentioned in the description was an out door deck to enjoy the view, well a bunch of the outdoor furniture there was old, torn or broken down. The upstairs shower says it leaks into the kitchen if the shower curtain isn’t in the shower but it still leaked even when we made sure the curtain was in! I showered with a trickle of water pressure (literally) to help prevent that from happening. It was also misleading about parking, from the pictures it looks like the property allows for covered parking under the deck, but that spot is for the lower unit and this unit is up top and does have parking but not covered. That was our fault for assuming from the picture we had covered parking! Other then that the place was in a good location and besides those issues we enjoyed our time in Steamboat!

The space was perfect for our needs for a getaway with our children. Our host was so responsive and brought over an extra pack n’ play for our 7 month old even though they had one there already that we were using for our 2 year old. The view was beautiful! The kitchen was well prepared for us to cook most of our meals. The king bed upstairs was really comfortable.

This home is in a great location and has a spacious, open-plan lay-out with a big deck and gorgeous views! It has a large refrigerator and a well-furnished kitchen that made it easy to cook there. Beds were comfortable. On the downside, though, many of the window screens and handles were missing, and many of the blinds were broken. Upstairs water pressure in the shower was non-existent. Also, the front door was wonky, making it tricky to open and close properly. Basically, a top-notch property but in need of a little TLC.

Overall nice location comfortable. Nice deck and view were the best part of house. We were total of 6 people. Had enough space. Could have improved upstairs shower pressure. Would have liked larger couch so more than 3 could sit. Kitchen well stocked.

Everything was provided making cooking and relaxing very enjoyable. The location is close to everything and we really enjoyed going out to enjoy things in town while being able to return several times a day to relax and have a drink. The hosts provided everything! We will try to visit here again.

This house was beautifully listed and exceeded our expectations. The views and back deck are amazing with easy accessibility to the town. Beautifully decorated and definitely would book again!
