It was definitely a great location and was happy to find a room last minute during a holiday!
The rooms and amenities are a little dated for the price

We hung out at the bar/restaurant for NFL Sunday. We had a great time. Staff is wonderful and the owner is friendly and accommodating. Even the other customers were fun to hang out with. I’m sure another stay will be soon.

The location is great
The room had a shade but no curtains so the light came in at sunrise and woke us up and there was no way to block it out. The music at the club was loud and made it hard to sleep one night.

It is close to the beach. Good luck with parking hotel guests do not have privilege to park.
First of all, Our room was horrible. It was to a point where at the end of the night I was dreading going back to the room. There were two teeny TINY windows. And the one had an extremely loud air conditioner in it. There was absolutely NO natural light. Couldn’t even see outside. 2nd, outside of our room was where the staff threw away garbage all you would hear was super loud garbage being dumped and loud talking it was so horrible. 3rd, they do not clean the room daily. So there was sand everywhere from our bags bc there is no balcony or anywhere to leave our beach belongings and they do not
Vacuum or take trash. Nothing. The last Thing was the bed was sooo old and uncomfortable to a point I wasn’t sleeping. It sunk into the ground and was just sceevy to me. I was disgusted by the last day and checked out first thing in the morning. No extra perks, no breakfast, not even parking was guaranteed. Next year will be anywhere but there.

Very clean. The staff were friendly. Our room was small but perfect for us. Perhaps they have larger rooms for people traveling with children. This hotel is a very short walk to the beach.

The lady hat the front desk was really nice. Ir was a small walk to the ocean which was great. The hotel was nice to look at from the outside.
The rooms weren’t that clean, my back hurts from the bed, room was dark. It was extremely hot when we came into the room. The water took 10 minutes to get warm. (Which the hotel can’t change of course), it was good we came now and not during the summer because the price would be so extrem for that stay.

We did not have the breakfast. But the location was great. The rate seemed fair for time of year.
The bathroom had mold in shower and tile floor next to shower. Our room next to registration and the window next to trash area. So, dumping or trash/recycles noisy Sat. AM. Beds comfy but room AC seemed tricky so were were a bit hot.

nicely landscaped, short walk 2 beach/food/beer. short drive 2 theater, Barnegat Light, nice staff, coffee..
we had to move from our room due to noise/smoke(ground floor, right by office). we then enjoyed 3 nights in Suite 42.

Good location- close to the beach and restaurants in walking distance.
Bathroom was on the small side and could have used an update for the price of the room - beds were not comfortable and the room was small and overlooking the top of another building- left a lot to be desired. Staff checking us in and out were unhelpful and not all that friendly- for a run down kind of place, staff being friendly would have made all the difference.

I haven't been to the beach in 22 years!! It was everything I remember and more. Neon and I even made a friend with the new Surf City manager Renee. Hope to see you again next summer ☀️. 😊
