Family of six had a nice stay at this property. Big comfortable beds, clean rooms, great back deck with view of the water. Would definitely stay here again.

Property in Marathon was nice but after we checked in we received no replies from Heather about our concerns. The washer was not working so we could not replenish the bath towels so we used the pool towels and couldn’t do laundry. Nice pool.

Perfect location, on the Hawks Cay property. Very clean, adequate space. East parking. A few downsides: Kitchen not stocked with basics (salt/pepper, coffee filters), very difficult to communicate with property manager, as I tried through VRBO, cell number via text or call. You will not have access to resort amenities like the pools and lagoon, which is one of the best benefits of being on the hawks cay property, so plan to get a room through the hotel if you want to enjoy them. Overall a great location and property but made a bit stressful by the lack of communication.

This place was amazing! The only problem is the oven doesn’t work that well but other than that it was an awesome stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay, but be prepared to bring or buy all kitchen supplies. Unlike many rentals there were no coffee filters, any plastic wrap, baggies or other essentials.

We spent four nights at duck key with 10 of us (one family; kids from 20 down to 4y old) and Heather's property was perfect. The kids swam, rode paddleboards and fished from the dock and we took day excursions to Bahia Honda and Key West. We slept fine and the kitchen was sufficient. The water was beautiful and the breeze on the back porch made sitting outside quite relaxing. Communication was a little slow and there is no grill/grilling allowed at hawks cay, so plan accordingly. Overall we can't complain, it was a very good stay and we will seriously consider booking again.

We had a great week in Duck Key at this property. The property was comfortable and as described in the listing. The location was great and it was very convenient being able to walk to the main resort to grab coffee and snacks. We didn’t spend much time in Duck Key but it was a very peaceful place to wake up and fall asleep each night. My kids loved walking the boardwalk and saw several fish and even a manatee! Heather was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive via text. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay!!

We had a lovely stay in Duck Key. It’s within walking distance of some great restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend!

Property was good.......I sent an email before we arrived stating that this was a continuation of the Pete Oaks stay and that I should not have to pay for the extra fees. Also Pete made contact to credit my card and bill his for the Sunday stay.....I have not received a response or credit yet.....please let me know!!

We had a wonderful stay at the property. The location was great for us to visit both the Upper and Lower Keys. The view from the back porch and balcony is beautiful. We rented a kayak and were able to launch it from the dock behind the villa. My daughter really wants to come back, as she said the location and property was ideal.

AVOID THIS HOUSE!!!!! The owner is very irresponsible! She ignores your messages and doesn’t get back to you and she also enjoys canceling on you the day before your arrival!!! Do not stay in this house or any of her properties in the keys! Worst management ever!!!!!

Highly recommend this home; great value as there are no resort fees that you don't have time to use anyway. Home was clean, water views were great, beds were comfortable. Note that the homes are very close together; we were kept awake fairly late (by our standards) one night by neighbors, but I don't begrudge anyone having a good time with friends and it doesn't affect my rating. I'd definitely stay here again. Just make sure you download a white noise app if you're a light sleeper just in case.

We commuted to Key West for a wedding but enjoyed staying in Duck Key as our home base.

Property was neat, clean well manicured.

We loved the unit, spacious, quiet with a beautiful waterfront view. Especially loved the sunrise and sunsets. Part of the resort but amenities not included with rental. We did love walking to their restaurant Anglers and Ale where food and service was great.

We would defintely go back again. The villa was and clean and had everything we needed. My son loved the dock out back where he could fish. I t was awesome to sit on one of the decks overlooking the water and relax. The owners were great to deal with and answered any questions we had,

Property was as advertised, great location and big unit. The one disappointment was no high def TV. Many football games on but TVs are very dated and no HD service. This should be corrected.

We had a small group of guys who came for a fishing trip. This property was perfect for us.

We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to return! It was truly the perfect spot to relax, take in the beauty of the keys, and make some great memories. The property was very clean and comfortable with amazing views. The only problem we had was not wanting to leave!

We absolutely loved this property! We were blown away by how beautiful it was, on the outside and inside. And then walking out onto the back deck we were treated to a breathtaking view of the little harbor and boat dock. Sunsets here were amazing! I think we spent every night of our stay out on the deck. We were within walking distance of Angler & Ale. They also offered a pick-up option so we could order our food and bring it back to the condo. This was great with our little 18-month old since we usually ate passed her bedtime. And I will say, their key lime pie was the best we've had so far! It's pricey, but worth it and big enough to share. We've never been to Duck Key before and although it is a little bit of a drive from Key West, we did drive to Islamorada and Marathon quite often and we loved seeing the overseas highway. Duck Key itself is quaint and beautiful. It was a peaceful little spot of paradise, perfect as a family escape. It should also be noted that we thought we locked ourselves out with the key code (my husband locked the deadbolt from the inside and the code didn't appear to work when we tried to get back in) but I called the owners and they were very helpful and answered us right away. So impressed. We will be back!

Perfect little vacation house while staying in the Keys. We had three couples stay here, and it was very comfortable for us. I’m glad we stayed here instead of in the craziness of Key West. Would recommend!

This was a great stay on Duck Key! Close enough to the amenities in Marathon but far enough away that it is very peaceful. We really enjoyed the balconies and the views of the canal each morning. Would definitely recommend!
