Fantastic cabin! Our teens loved it. Definitely recommend.

I have no idea how this property has good reviews. At first, all seemed to be well with good, but somewhat excessive, communication with Kristin via text. Never have I had so many documents to review and sign. However, upon arrival we were very disappointed. Dishes all dirty in the dishwasher. Discovered later the dishwasher doesn't work. Pots and pans encrusted with old food. There are no cleaning supplies and hand soap at sinks are empty. Air return grate falling off. Mold all over kitchen ceiling. Missing coffeemaker filter basket so coffeemaker overflowed with the many different paper filters renters have purchased trying to fix the problem. We had to change multiple lightbulbs. Over stove light burnt out. Outside fireplace broken and inoperable. Inside gas fireplace broken. Kristin knew about outside fireplace broken and presented that she didn't know about the inside fireplace but saw after that previous renter left complaint about it in review. The cabin is tired and needs a serious deep clean. But Kristin defends her cleaners which confirms she's out of touch with the current condition. Outside was also filthy with melted plastic and trash all around fire pit in the back. Furthermore, Kristin never refunded me as promised for a pet fee, so I had to dispute the charge. Stay away! There are many more cabins for the price in much better shape.

Overall we enjoyed this property. The outside fireplace wasn’t working, which we communicated-unfortunately the person they asked to stop by and fix it never came. While disappointing, it wouldn’t deter us from staying again. Kids enjoyed the backyard. We loved the hot tub and inside fireplace. Bedrooms were great-everything was as pictured. They even have a small supply of seasonings/food items which came in really handy!

We had a great time at the cabin. Very clean with appropriate dishes and paper products provided. Even though it is in a neighborhood the backyard is secluded feeling and private. Lots of games and outside options for kids. Host has a fabulous guidebook of local activities and restaurants and the home is exceptionally close to the state park! We had a great time. Thank you!

This place is so awesome and perfectly located. One morning we had a group of 6 deers in our back yard.

We loved our stay! The boys had a blast and plenty of room to roam, explore, and play. The cabin was beautiful, charming, and relaxing! Everything we needed was provided, plus some!! We hope to be back!!

Piney Bear Cabin was the perfect getaway for our family at Christmas. It was cozy, clean and warm with the gas fireplace in the living room next to the decorated Christmas tree. The floor plan was idea for a family. We were able to spread out and use all the amenities....from the 3 bedrooms, the 2 baths, the large kitchen, the hot tub and the play area in the backyard. A big thanks to the owner, Kristen, for the constant communication.
