Our stay was great! The property manager was so responsive and let us know right away when the house was ready. She even left us a pie in the fridge waiting for us! The house was absolutely gorgeous and clean. The beds were also actually comfortable!! The pool and outdoor space were perfect. The walk to the beach is a little long, but we figured out the best way to get there is to golf cart all of your stuff (and most people) down there and have one person bike back as there is bike parking at the entrance. The driveway was large and fit all of our cars. The location was quiet away from the busy streets but perfect location to all parts of 30A. We would absolutely come back!

Shawna has a beautiful home in a perfect location. We absolutely loved being right in the middle of anything we needed. We enjoyed the bikes and loved the pool , the backyard and the grill. The layout is open and perfect for kids. Bedrooms and amenities were great. They thought of everything. Plenty of towels, blankets, fans etc. Anytime we needed anything they were quick and responsive. We would come again in a heartbeat.

We loved our week stay at East of Eden! The property was as advertised, extremely clean and within walking distance to beach. The pool was a hit with our two children. Shawna was super responsive to any requests/questions; sometimes responding within minutes . Would highly recommend this property for a family vacation.

This is one of our favorite houses in Florida. Nicely decorated and appointed, large pool and a great location! We will absolutely consider returning in the future. Shawna was great to work with and she immediately and personally resolved the only minor issue that we had with a slow sink drain.

We had a great vacation at this house. .35 miles to the beach and very short drive to restaurants and shops. Overall the location was awesome. I would recommend renting the golf cart. It came in handy transporting beach stuff and people to the beach. The bikes were great for the week also. The screened in pool was great after a day at the beach. Would 100% stay here again.

Our family (including our grandchildren ages 7 to 18 months) enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated the beach towels, sand toys, and pool toys. The large pool was the biggest hit with the kids. We paid to have it heated and it was well worth it this time of year. Beach access was easy. Shawna and John were great to work with. They responded to emails and texts very promptly before and during our stay. They also provided clear check in and check out instructions as well as very helpful house and area information. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

We were very impressed with the nice touches when we arrived. The house was very clean, and Shawna was easy to work with. The best part was the large, heated pool that we enjoyed every day.

We had a really great time. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The heated pool made it nice since the weather turned chilly. The only bummer we thought the golf cart came with the house and it was an extra charge..

This is a beautiful home- beautifully decorated and designed. It is down the street from access on a quiet section of the beach. The house is well appointed- it had everything we needed- beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. we chose to rent the golf cart available at the house but honestly it’s not necessary but definitely makes it easy to cart all the many items we had for a beach day. The property managers were very responsive and patient with our questions like where is the light switch for the bunks (behind bottom bunk pillows) or which remote to use to find Hulu. Thanks!

This is our second year staying at East of Eden. The house is perfect for our fall break vacation. Having the private pool and being so close to the beach makes it the perfect spot for us. Everything you need for your stay is provided - fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, beach umbrella and chairs, pool toys.

We really enjoyed the house. Great location. Loved that the grill was clean and a Weber. Beds were amazing and the house came with all the beach equipment we could have needed.

Everything about our stay here was great! The location to the beach was perfect. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. Pool was very large and extremely clean. Outdoor area was wonderful. Bikes and golf cart were very nice to have. The neighborhood was quiet. We have been coming to this area for years and one of the best houses we have stayed in!

The house was great for our family of five. Clean, bright, and comfortable. The pool is terrific and always felt perfect after a day at the beach. Great location for enjoying all that 30A has to offer. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning!

Our family of 4 spent a full week at this property and it did not disappoint. The minute we walked into this beautiful home we immediately noticed the attention to detail & cleanliness. We had everything that we needed to make our time there feel like home. The house is in a great location & an easy walk or bike ride to the beach. The pool is a great size & we used it every day that we were there. John & Shawna Jacoby were available to answer any questions that we had and they were extremely helpful & accommodating. We will definitely be back to this amazing property!

We just spent a week at East of Eden, and it was perfect! The house is beautiful with a nice big pool. The pool area is totally screened in, so no bugs, and our grandson could let his helium balloons “go”, but they never “went” away!😊 There is even an outdoor TV. The pool was cleaned twice during our stay! We added the golf cart and it was awesome for transporting our beach gear and people to the beach access at the end of our quiet street, and then just a short walk back to the beach from the house. The golf cart is a must! The fridge/freezer is huge and kitchen is very well stocked. Shawna and John were so great to work with. I emailed her just to let her know one of the umbrellas was broken, and we had a new one the next day!

The house was perfect for us, the walk to the beach is almost a mile, so make sure and rent the golf cart if you have little ones. The beds in the adult rooms are firm, so if you need a softer mattress you may want to bring a topper. There were plenty of towels, dishes and cookware. The private pool was so nice, make sure you purchase the temp control package with rental. We have been to this property late May-June and in August. The water was much more calm in August. We had a BLAST

We had a great week staying in this quiet neighborhood with close access to the beach! The home design details made very good use of the home's space. Enough dishes pots pans and utensils to make dinners, beach chairs and umbrellas were very useful as was the golf cart. The covered pool area was great as our week was very hot, no issues with mosquitoes and we even saw a deer one morning come up to the back screen. Loved the clean pool and enjoyed the TV out on the patio. Both main bedrooms were comfortable, the second bedroom has a ceiling fan, and the 3rd fun kid/bunk room is small but designed great! There is a pool alarm on the door to the pool, which was explained to be a FL requirement. This would definitely give parents peace of mind and was not an issue for us, however note that it is loud if you have any people / pets sensitive to loud noises. We would definitely recommend! This property was just as clean, relaxing and well-appointed as advertised! As great as the property was, the property managers were just as great. They were helpful and responsive to all questions that arose. Can't wait to go back!

East of Eden is a comfortable, modern and well stocked home in a great location...close to Rosemary beach and the HUB. The pool is the perfect size, can't beat the 4 included bikes, beach access is nice and close (5 minute walk, 1 minute bike ride), the golf cart was awesome for shuttling supplies and people to the beach and back (beach access is very walkable, but would use the golf cart to drop everyone at the beach, drive back to the house, then ride one of the bikes to the access) and there were beach chairs, umbrellas and towels for our use. La Costa Blanca property managers John and Shawna were very easy to work with, accommodating and responsive.

We had a wonderful 3 weeks of hiking, biking and swimming in the heated pool. Lots of great state parks nearby. Well equipped kitchen made meals a snap 😋. If you're bringing your dog, be aware they are not allowed on the beach, ever! This was very disappointing as our dog loves the beach.

Our family of five stayed here for two weeks over the holidays. The home was perfect for our needs...very clean, nicely decorated, open-concept, and plenty of seating in both the family room and dining area. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was equipped with most everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and having both closet and drawer space was convenient. It's a short walk or bike ride to the beach which was not crowded at all. We loved having the bikes and there were bike racks at the public beach entrance at the end of the street. John and Shawna were great to work with! We had a couple of unexpected issues pop up that were no one's fault, and they took care of them promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this property was incredible! After a long day of travel, we walked in to hear the soft notes of jazz emanating throughout the house - what a beautiful welcome! There was more than enough room for 5 of us to spread out! We got lots of use out of the pool and used the bikes daily to get to the beach for walks. The neighborhood was quiet but everyone we encountered was super friendly! The house is convenient to so many different areas - we easily explored the coast from Destin to Panama City! Our hosts were timely in answering the few questions we had. We can't wait to go back and stay again!

This home was wonderful for a week long vacation. The home had everything we needed and was very clean. Shawna was helpful to come fix the pool heater when we had a problem with it. I would highly recommend renting this home!

This house was just what we needed - clean, plenty of room for the 6 of us, affordable and plenty of amenities - pool, fenced yard, pet friendly, bikes, beach chairs and towels and the option of renting a limousine golf cart!

The pool was fantastic and we were glad we heated it so we could use it on the days it was a little cooler or rainy. The golf cart was a fun addition and made carrying all of our things to the beach much easier (even though it really is walkable). The first few days we weren't sure where to park it because the immediate beach access at the end of the street says no parking so we parked on the side of the road at the end of the street and didn't have any problems. There is also bike parking at the beach access so that is an option as well since there are bikes available at the property. The house also had all the beach necessities which we were hoping for but weren't positive would be there. When we were there there were plenty of beach towels and blankets. two umbrellas, beach toys for kids, and beach chairs. There were also the basic necessities in the kitchen laundry. They provided laundry and dishwasher detergent/pods and we had plenty of bath towels for 4 adults and 2 kids to cycle through for the week especially with the ability to wash them as needed. There really isn't anything within walking distance (other than the beach) from the house but the golf cart can be taken on 30A and through all the streets nearby. Just a few miles away is a shopping area with a bar and restaurants called the hub and a mile or two past that is a coffee shop and wine bar and a seafood restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating, live music, and play areas for kids. Although you can drive the golf cart on 30A just be aware that not all the shopping areas are golf cart friendly. Most of the Rosemary/Alys beach area doesn't allow them to be parked in the main areas so we needed to drive on the days we headed that way. Overall the house was lovely. The part of the beach it's on is also the quietest since there isn't parking at the access. We would definitely revisit and stay at East of Eden again!
