Es war alles perfekt

Het ontbijt werd op de kamer geserveerd maar had alles wat we gevraagd hadden. We kregen een hele mooie, propere kamer met een prachtig uitzicht. Niets was te veel. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf!

La vista del balcón de la habitación era impresionante ! Hotel cómodo, sin grandes instalaciones pero cumplió las expectativas . Mónica fue muy agradable y cordial!

Amazing view

Can be very noisy. You can hear clearly if someone's opening or closing their door. We were near the stairs so we can help people carrying their suitcases up and down. Very hard to sleep if people are doing that during odd hours.

 We rented the apartment. The outside space was incredible. The views, amazing, privacy good. breakfast was very good, croissants, fresh meats, and cheeses, fresh fruit, espresso. A few items extra for minimal charge. About the inside of apartment- bed comfortable, AC was very cold, furniture rustic and useful.

Property has mid way up, prepare to get in shape, worth it- take the road -apparently theirs a shuttle you can take around town for 2 euros pp-

Staff were friendly, room was clean and spacious.

Walls between rooms were paper thin we could hear everything and everyone at all hours. On our last day after we had been out for a number of hours we came home to our balcony doors open, a large number of flies entered the room. We asked for fly spray or a swatted to eradicate them as there were too many and the receptionist told us to turn off the lights and let them die in 15 minutes. It was a complicated & unhelpful situation, which could have been prevented if the doors had been left closed in cleaning services. As well as providing some help to eradicate them.

The welcome from Il Gabbiano staff was fantastic. We were shown to our room which had the most amazing view over Positano and the Amalfi coastline towards Praiano. The room & property was spotless with an exceptionally clean bathroom, wardrobe and even balcony. Breakfast served daily on your own private balcony was a treat. One of the reasons we chose this property was ease of 'drive-up' access - no stairs to navigate!

Not much, everything was as described and as Positano is a town of stairs and steep inclines, this property avoided both by offering vehicle access (and parking) to the door.

Beautiful location and very clean rooms. Staff available 24/7 and are very accommodating. Hotel is on the street accessible by car so it was easy to get luggage in and out. Would highly recommend !

Unable to bring a local friend down to the room to see the views and accommodation but they are upfront about this rule.
