Reception staff were very efficient

The room was "tired". Toilet seat broken, electrical socket in room broken. Room needed a revamp. Tinned fruit salad on offer for breakfast!

Great stay and location for first night after arrival at Cherborg

The Cositel is one of our favourites when we visit Normandy. Well situated in a quiet location conveniently near the main roads north, east and south. The breakfast is good in the salon that has been expanded in the last 2 years. They can now also supply you with a satisfying ready made evening meal if needed. French towns are notorious for most of their restaurants being closed on Sunday evenings. But the new trend is to the 'Woks' that seems to be in most trading estates or suburbs. These are self-service buffets that will also grill the food of your choise if necessary. Good value and highly recommended! Coutance is no exception!

no restaurant, no draught beer and only one white wine. There was no atmosphere at all.

Everything was perfectly fine. Most of all I was extremely grateful for the help and consideration given to us by the staff at reception who were always cheerful and accommodating - marvelous - thank you.

Great bfast with local cheese and dairy products and apple juice

Not as close to the city centre as indicated. Need a car for all movements. We found it slightly on the expensive side when compared to what it offers.

Great quiet location a few minutes outside the Coutances centre with plenty of parking. Nice room and big beds in our twin. The outside deck and comfort chairs looked atractive for an afternoon rest though we were too late in the day to take advantage of those.

Really two things. The restaurant was closed for the weekend so we had to go into Coutances after a long day's travelling and the shower hose needed some serious re-configuration to get it into place for a decent shower for a tall man

Not a lot -

Very tired facilities. Thought new ownership would have boosted this place - evening meal poor (bad news as quite a distance outside town) breakfast acceptable. Grubby tired decor in rooms
