Wonderful! Just what we needed. Best location ever. Close to the park and right in the middle of restaurants and shops. Third time staying here. I’ll be back!

We LOVED our time at the little yellow cottage! Felt just like home. We loved be in the center of all our favorite spots and discovering new favorites.

Cute little place next to a park and within walking distance to everything.

Great location for visiting the parks and restaurants. Trails next to property for walking the dog.

Just what we were looking for. It tops the list for future visits to door county.

We had a few issues with this listing. The roof leaked over my sons bed while sleeping. Stayed all day the next day waiting for roofer. Poor parking. Pest control showed up to check the traps. We love being able to stay in different places that is the fun to our vacation. We realize its other peolpes property and there will be some good and bad rentals, this particular one was not our favorite.

My husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed at the Little Yellow Cottage and loved it. It was well stocked, clean and comfortable. It is right by the Peninsula State Park and within walking distance of great food and shopping. We loved our stay of a week here and at the first opportunity will stay again. Highly recommend this little sweet gem! The hosts thought of everything to make their guests comfortable.

The little yellow cottage was perfect for the 2 of us. Had all the amenities including a great jacuzzi bathtub and TV's in every room. Bedrooms are small but we managed just fine. It is right in the heart of Fish Creek and you can walk to a lot of places.

Stayed with three adults and one toddler. They had a packnplay which was great, just brought our own sheets. However, the bedroom space is very tight with multiple dressers, just barely fit at the end of the bed. Very close to walk to the state park, as well as the best pizza and custard. Central location to explore nearby towns as well. The two mini fridges were set so cold our beverages exploded and veggies froze. The storage shed was clean and well stocked with outdoor supplies, it is a few driveways down from the gas station. Unfortunately the kids bike trailer was missing the hitch so we didn’t get a chance to use them. Loved the extra toys to keep our toddler busy, nice they supply plenty of toiletries and coffee. Cozy but everything you need if you plan on spending most of your time out exploring. Would stay again!

We were impressed with the yellow cottage during our short stay in Fish Creek. We loved the location and were able to walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated the Kurig with coffee pods in the morning. Owners were friendly and provided excellent communication.

The cottage was perfect for a short getaway and in a great location. The place was clean and beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again!

Visited with my husband and 2 kids (4 and 6). House is in a great location and the right size for sleeping and some meals. The pool and storage unit with bikes and kayaks were major perks and appreciated. We will be back.

The little yellow cottage was perfect for our little family get away! Walking distance to restaurants and stores (even with 2 little girls on scooters)! Pool was perfect when we didn’t want to pack up and go to the beach. Peninsula state park beach was amazing for the littles too! Cottage was clean with plenty of towels and everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Yellow Cottage. It was the perfect size and location for our Spring Door County getaway. The cottage is very well stocked with paper products, soaps, linens, kitchen items and anything else you might need during your stay. They are also extremely dog friendly with a bed, toys, and suggested places to walk your dog. We appreciated the WiFi and Roku in the evenings when we cozied up after a day of hiking and exploring. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to book a stay in the Little Yellow Cottage again next Spring.

We had a great experience staying in the little yellow cabin. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Great location in the middle of everything. We appreciated the stroller and toys for our toddler and the gear for our dog!

Had a great time exploring door co and washington island this week. Some of the most beautiful topography I have seen. Accomodations were great!! They were as described and very convenient in the heart of Fish Creek.

Bedrooms & beds very small, no flexibility for early check in, amount paid not worth the short time spent.

The property was nice however from the ad i had believed the pool was just for our cottage, not 5. Also, as i know its a pet friendly cottage, the carpets could have been cleaner. It was a great location close to everything and it was good for our stay.

The cottage was just right for the two of us plus our dog. It was very clean and had a lot of extra supplies that you might have forgotten. It was peaceful and felt like being at home. It is in a beautiful spot and close to everything you might want to experience. We definitely want to go back. Many of our friends have asked about our stay and are hoping to book a stay.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the little yellow cottage! The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. We loved the nature trails right in the backyard, perfect for walking our dog and going on walks with the kids. We walked to Wild Tomato for dinner both nights because it was so good and convenient. The cottage is small but was perfect size for 2 adult and 3 young kids. We did use the bikes and biked into peninsula State Park. The storage unit is a ways away so it would have worked better to have our truck to transport them but we made it work with the van. It was perfect they had helmets and bikes with training wheels. We also had bonfires in the fire pit, there was lots of places to buy wood locally. The neighbors are close but it wasn't an issue at all. Would definitely stay here again :)

We scheduled a three day weekend at Little Yellow Cottage. Our group consisted of two couples, my wife and I, and our daughter and her partner. Pros: Very clean property, good location right across the street from the entrance to Peninsula State Park. It is right on the main road through town so might be a bit busy in the summer. Kitchen is well equipped. For a summer stay the Adventure Shed has a lot of gear. There are also snowshoes in it which we used for hiking in the park. Fish Creek is a nice community to stay in. LYC is also dog friendly with a crate and bowls on site. Cons: It is very small (description says 500 sq Ft). Bedrooms are very tight , one person will need to crawl over the other to get out of the bed first. There is no pantry for food storage, just a small crate on top of one of the two small refrigerators. The freezer is small so don’t plan on bringing much food that needs to be kept frozen. Lastly, none of the directions to get to the adventure shed were correct. We did eventually find it and sent information and photos to the property management company so hopefully they update the instructions. Overall we had a nice stay and would recommend this property for a couple or family with one or two younger kids.

Great location/clean/great communication. The only thing I think you need to add is a bed side table in each room. I used a folding chair😁

We had a wonderful winter weekend at the Little Yellow Cottage. The location is ideal, Fish Creek is by far our favorite town up in Door County. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away.

We had an excellent time exploring Door County. The little yellow cottage in Fish Creek was perfect for two of us. Comfortable and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and the cottage was well equipped. Being Centrally located on the Peninsula allowed us to hike the great parks and shop the adorable little boutiques in all the towns. We will definitely be back.

I had a nice stay at the little yellow cottage. Location is fabulous as it’s walking distance to town of Fish Creek & nice being right across from Peninsula state park. There is also a nice trail right out the back door for families with dogs. We enjoyed that as well. I would stay again if in the area. Carpet does need either replacing as it’s tired or a very good cleaning as it had a fair amount of stains. Other than that the place has everything that you could need!

Wonderful cozy cottage located just past the heart of shopping. This cabin had everything we needed for our stay in Door County.

I really hesitated to leave this review, but... well here I am, leaving this review. The property just wasn't what we were expecting. The listing indicates that there is room for six to sleep. We are a family of five, and there was not room for all of us. The bedrooms were REALLY tight space wise and pull out sleeper sofa matress was so uncomfortable none of us could sleep on it. While I understand the property is pet friendly, we did not bring a pet, and weren't expecting the carpet to be in the condition it was. It had visible stains and I was just grossed out by it. The kitchen table in the photo shows six chairs, there were only four chairs in the house, and you had to move the table completely in order to even fit four people it, not a big deal, but then the only lighting for it was a table lamp with a cord that couldn't reach the outlet once you moved the table. The only plus side was the proximity to the state park and the downtown area of Fish Creek.
