Three Birds is tucked away on the most beautiful piece of land, and the peace and tranquility were supreme. We were close to all our favorites: Julie’s Farmstand, Granite Hall, Round Pond Coffee, Shaw’s, La Verna Preseve hike (a must!), Pemaquid Beach (another must), and Contented Sole for the live music and pizza. We loved our stay!!

Stayed 3 nights, owner was very helpful on recommendations. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Don't miss Deb's Diner in Bristol. Son really enjoyed upstairs loft. Would highly recommend property to others.

My husband and I are in our late 60s, and we were traveling with our twin grandsons, aged 12. Perhaps this property was just not exactly what we were looking for - it certainly was clean and the hosts were responsive in their communication to us. The location is accessible to many sight I want to say that all the reviews I had read about the property before booking our trip were 5 stars. Because of this, I will just touch on a few things: -the property description indicated use of kayaks on the small pond on property. When we arrived, the information sheet in the cottage said that due to the drought, there would be no swimming or fishing in the pond. (And based on the level of water, there would be no kayaking either). I think this should be addressed in the listing, as our grandchildren were very disappointed - we ended up renting kayaks on Round Pond -the kitchen set up was a challenge to me - granted, we go out for lunch and dinner, however, I do like to make breakfast in the mornings, and the appliances and space made that difficult (for me) -please be aware of the ships ladder to the loft area - Although it was made to be quite sturdy, it is still of a pitch that you would not want younger children, or older adults using it -the porch was pleasant in the morning and afternoon to relax on, however, by evening, the bugs would make us move back indoors -screens would be a huge improvement, as it is a lovely place to sit -dish and hand soap is not provided

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at 3 Birds -- a week in July last summer in Chickadee and this past week in Puffin -- and we will be back next summer! Our experiences have been terrific Pamela and her family have paid attention to every detail in creating a beautiful and relaxing environment -- from the thoughtfully designed and constructed cabins to the tasteful furnishings and appointments. All three cabins look out to a small pond that is home to a chorus of bullfrogs and an open field. 3 Birds' location in Round Pond is ideal for taking advantage of all sorts of adventures and things to poke around and into. Our favorites: Pemaquid Beach, Monhegan Island, Round Pond Harbor, Damariscota (especially Skidompha Book Shop), and Granite Hall (especially for generous scoops of Giffords ice cream every night after dinner!). Or you can do absolutely nothing at all -- just sit on the porch and listen to the birds, the bullfrogs, and wind blowing through the leaves. Pamela and her family are extremely responsive to questions and requests. Everything about 3 Birds is just right. We highly recommend it!

June 30th (Friday) to July 5th (Wednesday) 2023. My family and I (two teenagers, husband and our dog) absolutely loved the cabin space!! So much thought went into making this cabin a beatiful place to stay!! My teens loved the loft, I loved how the kitchen had everthing you needed to enjoy food in and our dog and husband loved sitting outside on the porch. We walked LaVerna Trail in the mornings with our dog, a must place to go to and a sort drive to Pemaquid Lighthouse twice for the beatiful coast. Just a beatiful area to be. The only drawbacks, the ticks. No, seriously I'm not exaggerating. Not even here two hours and we were covered in ticks and we spent the night finding them everywhere in our cabin. Deet spray is must have and additional protection needed for our dog!! We sprayed her down on top of tick prevention meds she is already taking. Our 3rd night our dog got sprayed right in the face by a skunk right outside our cabin door. I dont think I even got off that last stair before my dog found the skunk. So much for a quick outside pee before bed. That was a disaster being our very 1st encounter with a skunk. In summary, we loved the cabin such a beatiful little place for family time and the area is beatiful. The owners are good people too!!

We had friends and family staying in the cabins for a family event. Everyone raved about how cute, clean and comfortable they were. Thank you Pamela!

This property was so clean and peaceful. Lighthouse just down the street, easy to get around to boothbay and other areas. Pamela was wonderful to work with and made cabin #2 very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Did recommend to my family in boston. Thanks so much for sharing your piece of heaven.

We loved our stay in this new and well appointed cabin. So many thoughtful details and super comfy! The property was also wonderful and great for walks and bird watching.

The cottage was immaculate and beautiful! I loved the natural beauty of the surrounding woods, so peaceful and quiet; and so close to some of our favorite places in the area. You will not be disappointed by this little slice of paradise!

The location is PERFECT for anyone wishing to explore Damirascotta, New Harbor, and Pemaquid Point. We loved everything g about this cottage… enjoy!

Charming cottage in wooded area, with deck overlooking small pond. Every evening we sat on the deck with a cold beverage and listened to the frogs.

The cottage was exactly as described, cute and homey have a bonfire or picnic. It's camping without camping. Take it from someone who does not camp this place was a dream. Loved every minute. The Directions easy to follow. Loved the view and quietness listening to the bullfrogs in the pond was great. Can't say enough ocean just a few minutes away, light house location it was a great place to just unwind and disconnect from electronics but had tv and Wi-Fi if you really need to connect. Extremely Dog friendly place. A few forest paths to hike if you choose. Highly recommend it to everyone. Will definitely keep on list for future trips.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The cottage was comfortable, convenient, and clean. The area is super cute, we enjoyed the restaurants we went to, the salt pond down the road, the LaVerna hiking area, and Pemaquid beach was the nicest beach I’ve ever been to in New England. Such a great stay!

This little cottage is perfect! Everything you need for your stay and then some. Pamela is a wonderful host. Great communication and very responsive to any and all questions. This little gem is just what we needed for our Maine vacation. We really didn't want to leave. The accommodations are just as described. Everything was very comfortable and the bed..oh my gosh.. the bed was the best! The location was perfect for home base for our daily adventures. It was very clean and private. Our English Bulldog Tallulah Belle enjoyed herself as well. We loved our visits from Max the dog, he was the best greeter. Being pet friendly was an added plus for us. You will not be disappointed. We will be back. We just loved staying at 3 birds, Thank you Pamela for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

This was a last minute reservation on my part. I was unfamiliar with the area. I wanted a get-away with my family. The hosts made this work out easily. Pamela is a warm host and good communicator. Everything was as she said it would be. Once we arrived, we had our privacy and use of their beautiful land. If I had any suggestion at all, it would be to make sure you bring your own items such as foil or ways to store leftovers. The cabin was beautiful, well-cared for and really perfect. We are very grateful and would stay here again for sure!

We had a great time at Three Birds!! The kids enjoyed the lofted area and we enjoyed the porch overlooking the pond. Great retreat and location!

The listing was as described and a real treat to stay at. Three cabins are on the property and are brand new. Host was very responsive and very nice and polite. Area was a delight!

What a serene and peaceful cottage! The owners have put a lot of thought into the design, layout and amenities. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like this was “home”. We loved the decor - a mix of old and new furnishings plus a king size bed that was ultra comfortable. We are “foodies” who appreciated the kitchen’s set up - induction cooktop with stainless steel cookware, convection oven, charcoal BBQ, every kitchen utensil needed to make any meal. The dining table doubled as a large prep space. For the freshest seafood, we went to nearby 2 Ladies Lobster Seafood Market(excellent lobster, crab, scallops, haddock plus take out chowder and lobster Mac n Cheese). For produce, nearby Julie’s Farm Market and for everything else, Hannaford’s in Darmariscotta. Our favorite restaurant was Lusty’s at Broad Cove Marine. It’s a working fisherman’s dock/marina, hidden away with spectacular views. Their boiled lobster is amazing (as well as everything else on the menu) and the prices are great(BYOB too). As for traveling with our dog, Pamela and Joe have created a dog friendly property with trails, pond and a large open area for lil girl to enjoy. This property is a hidden gem!!!!!

This little cabin is soooo cute! The decore is perfect...I kept taking pictures so that I could use some of the ideas for myself when I get home! There was an issue that was out of Pam's control (no electricity) but she went out of her way to keep us informed and helped us to still be able to enjoy the cabin. She was quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns and was very gracious. The cabin is very well stocked and even despite the electricity snafu (once again...not Pam's fault!) we still managed to enjoy ourselves immensely. I highly recommend Pam's cabins if anyone is staying near the area. You won't be disappointed!

Pamela and Family have thought out every aspect of the experience. It was a great property in a great area! We didn’t want to leave.

We were so pleased with our experience. The location is excellent and the property is new, well-maintained, very relaxing and the owners were super. We would definitely return again.

My family and I booked all 3 cottages and it was a perfect home away from home and "base camp" for our daughter's wedding on 7/10/2021. Our daughter was getting married at the 1812 Farm just 10 minutes up the road, and this was a perfect place for us (her parents) and family including 89 year old grandmother, aunt & uncle & cousin, plus several bridesmaids to stay. The cottages are brand new and so beautifully constructed and decorated. They were super clean, comfortable and had everything we could ever want or need. We even had a "rehearsal dinner" BBQ/Lobster boil in the pouring rain (thanks Hurricane Elsa) out in front of the cottages. Pam & Joe were so welcoming and accommodating for us the entire time we were there and we are so thankful we found these gems! Perfect location near New Harbor (gotta go to Shaw's Wharf for seafood), Pemaquid Light, Round Pond, Bristol, and Damarascotta! Huge THANK YOU to Pamela & Joe for the perfect home away from home! Cabin was spotless, owner very responsive, back porch delightful, access to lobster plentiful. Damariscotta 15 mins, Wiscasset and Boothbay a few more, Pemaquid Lighthouse close by. It was just perfect for us. Thank you Pamela!

The five of us enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the deck each morning was a wonderful way to welcome the day. Six year old Polly was able to explore outside and run off some energy. While snug on the inside, we still had space without feeling cramped. Great design and site location.

Great week at the cottage. Pamela and Joe are great hosts. Perfect spot for a private friends and family getaway by renting all three cottages.

My family booked The Puffin cottage at Three Birds Farm for 4 adults. Pamela was WONDERFUL! While we weren't in town for a fun event (memorial service), Pamela made everything about our stay easy. She was extremely responsive in communications and even left a hair dryer outside for us in the morning when she realized there wasn't one in the cottage. The location was great for what we need and I'm sure the ease of access to Round Pond and downtown New Harbor would make this a top notch vacation cottage. We did well with 4 adults, and I'm sure it would be even more fun for a family with kids (kids love a good loft space!) The space was clean and new, very fresh. We didn't spend much time on the back porch overlooking the small pond, but it seemed very peaceful. It was also easy to find with the directions and landmarks that Pamela provided. Thank you Pamela for a wonderful stay! We would definitely stay again and recommended it to our friends and family (and strangers).
