We loved this house! Perfect location and house layout. Great deck and living room space. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Have been doing this trip for about 5 years now and would definitely stay here again!

The house fit our family of 9 perfectly (two families of four and a grandparent). Everyone had a comfortable space. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a great trip. The oceanfront location was gorgeous!

Another great vacation in Emerald Isle. This was the 3rd time visiting EI and our 2nd time staying at this house. Amy is an excellent host. Communication was great. The house itself it’s beautiful. It’s stocked with anything you might need and more. It has a really homey feeling to it. Nothing compares to going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. Top Notch property and Top Notch neighborhood!

I've been renting oceanfront houses at EI for many years, and this was one of the very best. The layout and furnishings of the dining/living area were great for indoor times, decks were in very good condition, and the kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with quality pots, pans and knives. Amy was a very responsive host. We'd definitely stay here again!

It is so wonderful to be right on the beach in such a lovely home. This is our third time staying here and it is perfect with kids. The kitchen is really well equipped and there are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large family or group. I can’t imagine a better spot.

We’ve stayed here several times and we love the location, easy direct beach access and space. Host is always accommodating and even allowed us to check in 2hrs early so our kids could nap upon arrival.

After 20+ years at this cottage the quality is disappearing. Overall cleanliness is lacking. We had to clean the decks, patio and windows. The dinning room set is grimy as well as most of the woodwork(door jambs, handrails and baseboards) Although some amenities have been replaced, this should be considered expected given the age of the property.

Great oceanfront location on a quiet street. Beautiful property, well maintained, very clean, comfortable beds, well furnished kitchen, plenty of parking under the house and in the driveway, beach chairs and toys, owner is easy to work with and responds to inquiries quickly. Our second stay at Top Notch and we hope to return.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Top Notch. It was really nice to have a connecting door to our extended family next door. We could easily visit when we wanted and shut the door if we needed more privacy. There were 2 doors (stairwell) in between the 2 sides of the duplex which was helpful because you could not hear sound from other side. Nicely furnished as well.

My husband and I spent five nights at Top Notch and had a wonderful time. There are views of the beach/ocean from most of the rooms and I especially loved the "wall of windows" in the living/dining area. Breathtaking. Beach access was easy and right out the door. The beds/bedrooms were quite comfortable and nicely decorated. The living space was one of the most comfortable we've encountered on VRBO. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We were impressed with the amount of towels provided - a set placed neatly on each bed. We had a few questions for Amy about check out procedures and she got back to us very quickly. All in all, we had a great experience and were really sad to leave. We wished we had booked a longer stay and look forward to returning soon. Notes: Surf's Up Grill has excellent service and food - can't beat the grouper tacos. Publix has great sandwiches and prepared foods at a reasonable price. Do not miss a stop at Elly's Gift Shop and their fantastic fudge. Highly recommend Emerald Isle, our new favorite coastal destination, close to Swansboro, Atlantic Beach, etc. Thank you, Amy, see you again soon!

Amy was so sweet and accommodating! The house had everything we needed and more. Definitely worth checking out this home! The view was so beautiful as well.

The property was exactly as described, looks just like the pictures and has so much more than described. Just walking in and seeing that oceanfront view was spectacular! Amy has really thought of everything a guest could need; This beach house has all the comforts of home, and was setup perfectly to host our family. The rooms are spacious, and we felt like we were in a single family home rather than a duplex. The main family room, dining room and kitchen have plenty of room to spread out, socialize, cook dinner in, and hangout. The layout of the home with the bedrooms spread between all floors helped everyone have their own space when needed. Amy was very helpful and fast to respond. The home is in a great location, the beach is very deep in front of the home and is beautiful! Don't hesitate to book this spot- you won't regret it

This was the perfect house for our family vacay. We had 8 adults and 3 children. Everyone was able to have their own space. We enjoyed the beautiful views. Great location for those who want run around Emerald Isle.

Beach front sunset view allowed us to see a Space X launch from Florida. Spacious downstairs allowed for all 9 of us to comfortably gather.

Clean experience. Great communication and advice on things to do. Had a memorable time.

This home was perfect for our annual girls' trip. 8 of us comfortably stayed with plenty of room to be all together ❤️ The views are nothing short of spectacular. The location on the island is convenient to everything you want. Amy is a perfect host! She's responsive, helpful, and kind. I'm thankful for this lovely home for our beach trip memories.

Pots were worn and lids scares. Eating utensils were a mix match of old stuff. Dishwasher worked poorly even though we rinsed before. Most plates were not microwave safe. No dish to heat food in microwave. Kitchen sink and faucet were old and warn without sprayer. Countertop was pours - home for germs and grease In our 45 years of renting on Emerald Isle, this was viewed as not acceptable.

We love visiting Emerald Isle and staying right on the beach at this home. It is so convenient to just be steps from the beach and be able to run up quickly for lunch or a drink. The house is well equipped and great sized for our family of 5 plus grandparents!

We recently rented Top Notch for a Girl's Trip. There was ample space for 10 adults. The house was clean, kitchen nicely stocked, and you cannot beat the ocean view! Amy was fantastic to work with, she responded quickly to questions and provided some great recommendations. I highly recommend Top Notch!

We enjoyed staying at Amy’s beach home. The room was spacious, the 4 flights of stairs wasn’t an issue for us. It was nice having 4 full baths. A couple of things needed to be checked on and was done quickly and efficiently. We didn’t bring beach chairs but was able to use one left at the house and rented 4 more. The house is nicely located. I would definitely from Amy again.

Top Notch was a beautiful home! Well stocked kitchen, rooms spacious with just the right amount of furniture. Well taken care of. Amy was very responsive and super kind!!! Was a wonderful stay at EI!

We had a wonderful time for our family vacation in this comfortable home. We were an extended family group of seven; we had plenty of room. The house was spotless; the ocean views were beautiful. The house is very convenient to shopping and dining. There was plenty of dining and cooking equipment, except take a large nonstick frying pan if you need one! The kitchen was even stocked with some basic herbs and spices. The owner is very responsive, if you have any questions.
