MINT Resorts the Blyde is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The hotel is new and modern, with sleek and stylish decor that creates a luxurious atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view of the lagoon. Waking up to such a picturesque scene was truly a treat for the eyes and soul. It added a sense of tranquility and serenity to our entire experience. The staff at MINT Resorts the Blyde are truly amazing. Bongani and his team deserve a special mention for their outstanding hospitality and excellence in service. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Their attentiveness and friendly nature made us feel like a valued guests throughout our time there. I would like to express my gratitude to Bongani and his team for their exceptional service. Their dedication and commitment to making guests feel welcome and cared for is truly commendable.

My room was so spotless I liked everything about it, and the beauty of the whole hotel, not forgetting their service it was out of this world they were so friendly.

The view from my room wasn't giving at all, but hopefully on my next stay you'll place me by the sea side.

People who booked in the hotel must have reserve seats at the pool/beach because day visitors occupied everything, besides that I'm happy.

The lagoon, the friendly staff as a whole starting from the securities to the receptionists. The restaurant, play room everything in that place is👌the room was perfect everything in it was tops.

The fact that there's no microwave in the room was not good 🙁 please try to provide each room with a microwave. Some of us eat a little and take some left overs with a doggy bag to the room and later when you want to eat the food is cold and it's not eatable please.

The lagoon

I didn’t get my buffet breakfast and the service at the hospital was horrible. I didn’t even get to finish my food after waiting for than hour for a plate of eggs. I couldn’t check out late but I had that option. Only few staff members are professional the rest are just clueless.

I loved everything about the hotel, starting from security as there is control of entry and exit using access code and everything else. The lagoon was exactly as expected. All our expectations were met and the stuff was so kind and helpful. The room was clean and it was refreshed daily which we really appreciated as other hotels you have to pay the cleaners to refresh your room. If I were to rate the whole experience out of 100% I'd give this place a total of 100%.

Going in the first time and going out the facility the last day was a bit of a hustle. It took longer to be given an access code

After having a bad experience while having dinner the night before as when we arrived and were seated we were totally ignored. My husband had to approach the manager to find out how do we order food as the waiters served everyone around us and we were ignored, it felt like there was a racial issue as we were the only people of color. The food arrived after a long wait and it had to be returned as it was cold. My husband had to once again get up and take his plate to the chef to have it warmed up. The music was loud and we felt we were in a bar. I would not recommend this place to family and friends.

Staff members were great

We booked a room that was available overlooking the lagoon, which was disability access. We phoned to enquire about it and we were told there's not much difference between it and the other rooms. When we arrived, it was just a room with a bed. Luckily the lady working there was able to accommodate us with another room, though not overlooking the lagoon
