A stunning location in a stunning setting. Yes, Civita di Bagnoregio is (or was) a dying little town but the atmosphere is absolutely great. I loved the appartment the hosts were very friendly and although I paid a bit more than usual I thought it was very much worth it.

The breakfast consisted in packed up things, nothing fresh.

Beautiful special town. Perfect location

Civita di Bragnoregrio is a magical ancient town atop an eroding cliff. Awesome renovation of the property. Great communication. Had a couple of very good meals in town. Made some new friends there also. Slow down and enjoy the views and the breezes!

Logistics are complex to get there the first time. I definitely recommend filling out the long online police application in order to drive your car down to the bridge in order to drop off bags and family. Then you must return to the top of the hill and park in the back lot immediately to the right of the road you just drove up and use the back parking pay station machine to get the discounted rate for parking for staying there. You also must get a parking permit/pass printed out before you get there and put it on your dashboard. The owner of the apartment will supply that ahead of time but you need to have access to printing. If you have luggage I absolutely recommend paying five euros to have a small vehicle take your bags from the beginning of the bridge right to the apartment. Five euros on the return trip also, but best investment you’ll make! Would be awesome if the property had a washer.

Perfect location close to restaurants and in the middle of Civita. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. The host was always available when we needed her and helped with everything we needed.
