It is hard to know where to start when reviewing this property and expressing our gratitude for our hostess because everything aspect of the cottage and our stay was truly 5-Star++! When I booked our family getaway, it had to be special because this would be the last time (for a while) all of us would be together as our kids turn into young adults and move on with their schooling and careers. I felt I was paying a premium for Wiggleswick Cottage (because we have stayed on Georgetown Island in other rentals over the years for less money) but no other stay compares. It was worth EVERY penny and more. Seriously, I would have paid more!! If you have stayed at a five-diamond resort, you will know what I mean. The difference can be felt in every single touch and appointment in the home. Sara's attention to detail, thoughtfulness, safety, quality, communication, and hospitality is beyond compare. The home flows so well. The location and view from the home are fantastic. Quiet, peaceful, and full of great energy. The waterfront is stunning. The sunrises and sunsets from the amazing porch and huge yard were gorgeous. The furnishings, linens, homewares, etc. are high-end. The stay was authentic Maine, comfortable, cozy, yet current, fresh, and well-equipped. The only surprises were incredible, fun, and inspiring ones. From the stunning fireplace to the gorgeous windows flowing with light, to the spare phone chargers to the dryer sheets, and everything in between, Sara (the owner) has thought of everything. She is a world-class "homemaker" which made us feel right at home. I have a dog, but she could not join us for our trip. I wondered if it would smell like other dogs or if I would find fur from prior guests. I can honestly say I would never know Sara allowed for dogs if it were not for the amazing equipment and accessories she had for her dog guests! I have thought back on other stays we've had in Maine and beyond and how they have paled in comparison. It's so nice in this day and age to not only get what you paid for but to feel like you received an incredible value and true benefit. That's how I feel!! Sara and Wiggleswick Cottage set the standard, the GOLD standard, for vacation rentals. We are grateful for our time there :-)

Very clean and every little detail was well thought out. The host was very responsive and it's super dog friendly !!! We will be back for some summer time fun!

We came to Georgetown for a family emergency and this cabin was just what we needed. We were able to recharge and relax. Sara went above and beyond to get us in and even left us a sweet card and treats. Lots of little touches all over the house. Highly recommend

This was our 2nd Annual trip to Wiggleswick and the best vacation with family. The cottage is more than top shelf with the comfort of everyone in clouding pets taken into consideration by the super friendly and knowledgeable hostess. We look forward to next year and beyond.

We were blown away from the second we created the hill to the property. Sara goes above and beyond to give her guests a fun and memorable experience. Yard games, a beautiful lawn, a very well kept home, welcome gifts for us and our two dogs. She answered questions quickly. We couldn't be more happy with the vacation we had at Wiggleswick!

Wiggleswick Cottage was a perfect place to spend a week with our kids this August. The cabin is simply but beautifully decorated. Everything was spotless. We had absolutely everything we needed there for our stay. It's obvious that our hosts put considerable time and energy into ensuring that guests feel welcome and cared for. And dog beds everywhere! Kayaking was delightful. There's so much to watch when relaxing on the dock. Delicious seafood just down the street. Even the cool and rainy day was pleasant - reading in front of the fire in the living room. We loved it.

Perfect location for a beautiful Maine getaway! We had such a wonderful time and had all the amenities we could have wanted!

Our family of 5 (all adults) loved our stay at Wiggleswick Cottage with it’s open comfortable layout. It was super clean and Sara has thought of everything! We loved that it is very close to the harbor at Five Islands, but not in the village itself. Reid State Park is within a 10 minute drive and we spent time at each of the three beautiful beaches. Our group was interested in hiking and Sara provided lots of information about the many trails on the island! She’s a very receptive host and responds very quickly to any questions. She even brought over a charcoal grill since we were inexperienced with the gas grill. Belvedere (the dock) was a huge highlight and we kayaked from there several times. So many places to explore. We highly recommend Wiggleswick!

I spent three glorious days at this little piece of heaven and my soul is all the better for it. It was my dogs first trip with me and it was an excellent experience for us both. We enjoyed the agility equipment very much. It’s probably the most relaxing place I have ever stayed. Quiet, serene, stunningly beautiful and SO comfortable. A true home away from home. Sara has thought of everything. I’ve rented a fair amount of properties in my life and nothing compares to this. This place has all you could ever want or need and MORE! There are so many extra little touches that it’s like opening gifts at Christmas. I even loved the smell of all the soaps. THANK YOU so much for the little welcome gifts, Willoughby loved his cookie and ball, and I very much appreciated the tag. He wore it proudly. I’ll treasure the memory of my time spent at Wiggleswick Cottage. Also, playing centipede on the Atari was EPIC!!!! Thank you!

Couldn’t be happier with the house, yard and location. Great place to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Our dog Phoenix may have enjoyed it the most!

I have to say the pictures are great, but this home is much better in person. It is so cozy and inviting. We felt at home right away, Our two dogs settled in right away too, The host, Sara, was fantastic. Her attention to detail was out of this world. She was such a thoughtful host. She left a gift bag with goodies for our dogs, Moose and Harley! She also left goodies in the fridge for my husband and I which worked out amazing since we checked in late. Everything in the house has cute i.d. tags so you can easily find things. She provides her guests with so many extras around the house. It was so easy having the dogs there. She has blankets for them to relax on, runners (leash) outside and toys for them to enjoy. Best of all was the incredible fireplace. We lit a fire each night and sat and enjoyed a glass of wine. It was so cozy. The walk down to the ocean is a lot of fun and the view was stunning. There is nothing like the Maine Coast. We can't wait to come back. Thanks Sara!

Ten stars for Wiggleswick’s Cottage and our time in Maine. The host was communicative and the house was immaculate. The property is lovely and the house amenities are top notch. I highly recommend this home for families with dogs. And I’m sure it is just as good in the summer as it is in the winter. We definitely want to return!

Our family had a perfectly delightful stay at Wiggleswick the week leading up to Thanksgiving. The cottage was spacious, warm, and beautifully decorated. Everything we could have needed besides groceries was provided, making us feel right at home - truly a no-hassle vacation. Sara, the owner, had every base covered to ensure we had a great stay. This included a detailed mobile app guide that introduced us to the area, Wiggleswick, and provided every bit of information and direction needed. The area is fun with great hiking and a long beach with big surf just a few minutes away. Bath, with nice restaurants and arty shops, etc. is a mere 20 minutes away. To make us feel even more welcome, an exceptional platter of delicious cheeses, fruits, nuts, and olives, along with candies was waiting. Even our dog was pampered with a bag of yummy lobster dog treats. Late November is not a typical time to visit Maine, but we had an exceptional experience. I imagine how wonderful the summer must be. We enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful home on a great piece of property on the ocean. It was very comfortable and welcoming. Sara did a wonderful job making us feel very welcome into the home!

Wiggleswick Cottage is in a lovely, private spot by the water. The cottage is beautful inside and out and very well maintained. Everything was made so easy for us. All drawers and light switches were labeled making finding things a snap. We felt very welcomed there; everything about the cottage was comfortable and inviting. We only used rhe downstairs but could easily have accommodated our daughter and her family with a petfect set up upstairs of a large bedroom with full bath next to a room with bunk beds with thick mattresses! And for our 2 dogs, there were beds, dishes and even blankets to cover furniture so they could vacation in luxury. The waterfront had a gorgeous view; we were too late in the season to enjoy the water so maybe next time. Nonetheless, we appreciated the lovely back porch as well as two well placed chairs on the property (with a stove to keep warm had we needed to), all facing the water view. There was not much open in the immediate area in November but Reid State Park has a great beach to enjoy and Bath isn't far. Finally, thank you so much to Sara who reached out to us, when it was looking like our stay would feature gale force winds and inches of rain, and offered for us to delay our trip for a few days in hopes of better weather. We were so taken with her kindness and did end up having glorious weather by moving our stay to the next week.

We had a great stay at Wiggleswick cottage! Our 3yo son enjoyed the cottage and running outside. We also played fun games outside which are provided by the owners. We enjoyed campfire, seeing boats on the water and hearing ocean waves at night. Sara was great with responding to our questions and enjoyed seeing our pictures of us enjoying her cottage and our daily trips to pumpkin farm, wild animal kingdom, Bath, Boothbay harbor and Rockland, all of which are short drive from the house. Beautiful home and the location! Thank you Sara!

This is a fabulous cottage that is beautifully appointed with everything you need to a perfect vacation. Sara is a 10 STAR host! We don't think there is a better place to stay in the entire state of Maine.

From the minute we booked our trip Sara was such an amazing host. I wanted to leave a review before we even arrived. She has everything in the house that you could possibly need including beach chairs, kayaks and a lobster pot. She tastefully labeled the cabinets in the kitchen and the light switches so you know where everything is. The wrap around deck is wonderful just to sit and have your morning coffee or just enjoy a drink. We enjoyed our stay at Wiggleswick so much, so relaxing and peaceful! Our dog Louie loved it as well. The property is amazing, just a short walk to the water. We loved sitting on the dock watching the lobster boats and even saw some seals swimming. Sara has a guidebook that you can download that recommends restaurants and things to do in the area. She has thought of everything!! We went on a pontoon boat tour that she recommended and we loved it. River Run Tours. I would definitely stay there again and I would give Sara and her property ten stars if I could!!
