The pictures tell it all. The property is very nice, comfortable and clean. The owner has a big vegetable garden and we could help ourselves to fresh produce. The home is less than a 10 minute walk to the harbor. I highly recommend

We had a wonderful, relaxing 7 days by the water. Our host was delightful and very helpful in pointing out the best activities and places to visit in the area. Though most of our time was spent sitting on or kayaking off the dock behind her lovely property.

We loved our week stay at this cute apt. It was just what we needed for exploring in our convertible in Maine. Marion welcomed us when we arrived. She had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the wine, flowers, blueberry muffins and maple syrup that she had on the coffee table. We made breakfast's there and walked to Boothbay most evenings for dinner. Enjoyed the waterfront dining. It was so relaxing sitting by the cove in Marion's backyard. It was a wonderful vacation and Marion was a terrific hostess!

Our stay at Three Schooners (there really are three wrecks in the Cove) was delightful. Host Marion not only was most welcoming when we arrived but continued so through our stay. The ground floor apartment is clean, very well fitted out and cozy. Walking just steps into the lovely garden to observe the tides and wild life on Mill Cove is a special and quiet treat. But you are also only 5-8 minutes walk to the center of Boothbay Harbor with all it has to offer. The delightful Maine Botanical Gardens are only 7 minutes' drive via rural roads and you have equally easy access to Southport Island a few minutes west and Ocean Point on the east. All in all, a 5 star hideaway!

Every word on VRBO about Three Schnoorers was the truth. We valued everything from Marion our host to the private parking. Don't hesitate to rent here. We left rested and energized, yet we explored from Freeport to Pemaquid to Rockland. Don't miss Moody's Diner!

Lovely accommodations. Full kitchen. Laundry facilities. Our only complaint was no air conditioning. Not that it was too hot, just musty and muggy. May I suggest a dehumidifier. Beautiful backyard and garden.

Marion was the perfect host. Cozy apartment, very clean, bright, and all of the kitchen supplies we could ask for. Perfect location to walk into town. Welcome goodies were very much appreciated. Lots of hot water, and access to the washer and dryer which we used several times. We will not stay anywhere else in Boothbay so I plan to make my reservations very early before she books up. It was a wonderful 4 day stay.

This location is very convenient to the downtown restaurants, shopping & other activities! The rental is clean & comfortable & the perfect size for a couples get-away! Very enjoyable! Easy communication with the owner too!

The stay with Marion was just perfect. Great communication before our stay and a wonder welcome on arrival. The accommodation itself and it's location were excellent, could not be faulted in any way. It spoiled us for our vacation through New England as none of the other places we stayed were as good as here. Definitely a home from home. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment & the hostess Marion was very helpful and accommodating. She had blueberry muffins, maple syrup and wine waiting to greet us. Very short walk to town with access to shops, restaurants and boat dock. Took several boating excursions and ate some wonderful seafood. Nearby hiking trails made for a wonderful stay. Our only suggestion would be for more comfortable seating in the TV area. The outdoor space is lovely overlooking the cove and we were able to harvest some vegetables from Marion’s lush garden. We hope to return again to this lovely place R&M

We greatly enjoyed our week+ at Three Schooners. It was a great stay on many fronts: Host - Marion was terrific. Available, friendly, helpful, but not at all intrusive. The apartment is the bottom floor of a three floor house, and Marion lives right above. We saw her occasionally as she wattered the garden, but still felt like we had all the privacy in the world. Property - The back yard is on Mill Cove in Botthbay Harbor (around a bend from the main harbor, but easily within kayakaingor walking distance). Two kayaks are available for your use. At high tide you can kayak in and out. Out low tide, the cove turns into a mudflat. The backyard has lots of seating options so you can sit, relax and look at the cove. There's also an abundant garden and Marion welcomed us to pick what we liked. Apartment - Very clean and nicely equiped apartment. We didn't cook any meals, but you could if you wanted to. I appreciate that Marion has some basic food stores available. The bathroom was nice. The bed slept really well. The kitching/dining area was bright and useful. The living area allowed views out to the cove. If I had one small critique it is that the little sofa was not the most comfortable. Everything was clean and nice. Location - Three Schooners is an easy 5 minute walk to downtown Boothbay Harbor where you'll find all the shops, restaurants, entertainment and waterfront. It was nice being so close, but also being able to retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We walked to dinner every night. You could also kayak over if you were so inclined. Boothbay is certainly touristy, but not overly so - not syrupy sweet like some tourist towns. Boothbay felt like a mix of vacationers and locals, and was not overcrowded. Attractions - we especially enjoyed the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. It would have been even more fun with kids or grandkids. Our other favorite was the trip to Monehegan Island. The hike on the ocean side was terrific - an incredible mix of forest, rocky ledges, and rugged dramatic views. We saw dophins, porpoise and whales during our short hike. The opposite side of the island is the definiation of Maine-quaint. Plenty of places to eat or shop for local crafts. There's even a craft brewery. If we were doing it over, though, we'd take a picnic lunch and enjoy our lunch on the trail overlooking the ocean. Restaurants - our favorites: Mine Oysters, Ports of Italy and Shannons Unfinnished.

This was such a nice place for either a quiet getaway or an adventure. Marion was a great hostess and we felt like family at our little oasis. Her garden was there for the picking and the backyard was very peaceful. Boothbay Harbor is a great town with shops, food and trips on the water if you wish to go. We walked almost everyday to eat because we were so close. We loved it.

If I could give Three Schooners and Marion 10 stars I would! The apartment is just like the pictures Very clean and has everything you need. Perfect for my husband and I. The yard, gardens and dock make a very peaceful place to relax have a glass of wine or coffee etc. The location to town is just a few minutes walk! The host Marion is a very kind and helpful person. If you need anything she is there to help. She wants you to enjoy your vacation and her town! Can’t wait to go back!

If you're debating on whether to rent this property: don't hesitate; book it now! Great quiet location 5-10 minute walk to the heart of town. The incredibly well-stocked kitchen and the bedroom are bigger than they appear in the photos, and the apartment in general was super clean, comfortable, and everything worked. The backyard has nice views of Mill Cove, lots of furniture, and is an excellent place to relax. We enjoyed salads of fruit & veg from Marion's amazing garden. Speaking of Marion, her hospitality was second to none. She was very friendly, helpful & communicative, and was readily available if needed, but also non-obtrusive. My wife & I will absolutely give this property first look should we return to Boothbay.

I can't say enough positive things about the property. Very clean, location is amazing, beautiful backyard. So close to town, we walked all the time. Easy entry to unit, very comfortable, had everything we needed. Amazing, gracious hostess! Definitely would stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Three Schooners. The location was top notch, out of the main drag enough that you're staying in a pleasant neighborhood, but an easy enough 10-minute walk to most of the harbor attractions. We popped back and forth between town and the apartment most days and blessed not dealing with parking. Marion was a lovely host, communicative but not intrusive and she had some great recommendations for the area that we took advantage of. Plus she keeps a beautiful yard and garden. The apartment itself was quite as advertised, well sized for a couple and entirely pleasant.

Perfect couples apartment right on the a cove.. We were there early spring and temperatures were a bit lower so we couldn't enjoy the grounds as much as we would have liked but the property was lovely. Marion was a perfect host - respected our privacy but around just enough to make for a welcoming experience. She gave us some great tips about local sites that we really enjoyed. Our first VRBO experience and she made it a tremendous one.

Short walk to downtown shops and dining make this one bedroom apartment ideal. Large furnished kitchen made cooking a pleasure. Large backyard with multiple seating areas, a great elevated view of the water and a flower and vegetable garden that you are welcome to enjoy. Truly enjoyable. You are staying in a basement apartment. You will hear noises.

A clean, quiet and comfortable place to relax. Well-equipped kitchen for eating in. Convenient access to washer/dryer. A short five-minute walk into town so no worries about finding parking. We were encouraged to pick veggies, which we helped ourselves to generously. The location is perfect, a short walk to the town center. Stay with Marion…you’ll be glad you did!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and loved it! The location is amazing for being close to town. About a 5 min walk into town. The apartment was clean and the Host, Marion, had great suggestions for us. We loved kayaking here but be mindful as you are limited to high tide times. Definitely worth the kayaking though if you can get out and do it. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Warm welcome with flowers. wine and home made blueberry muffins! We took two boat tours: Monhegan Island and Puffins. Both were excellent! Great seafood, scenery, hiking and just walking around. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable - a great place to come back to after the days adventures. Lovely setting with gardens and right on Mill Cove. Highly recommended! Marion is a wonderful hostess!

Wonderful location with a beautiful garden area! Very quiet and relaxing space. Loved that you can walk to shops, restaurants and boat excursions. Host is so friendly and has much knowledge of the community. One of the best places I have stayed in with VRBO!

the large garden and lawn is filled with wonderful,flowers, plants, sculptures and birds, overlooking a dock of kayaks on a cove of the harbor. the apartment is cozy and comfortable, and quiet at night.... the host is available and helpful whenever needed. this is well within walking distance of the main streets of the town, yet away from traffic and noise...

This is a very clean, light filled, large one bedroom apartment. The bed is possibly the most comfortable bed I've slept in, while staying at a VRBO property. The pictures do not do it justice. Not only is the apartment large, but you also have the entire backyard for your personal use. The backyard overlooks Mill cove, we took advantage of the glider and enjoyed drinking wine, listening to the birds, and the waterview. Downtown is a very short walk with restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Therefore, instead of having to search for parking and paying for parking, just leave your car at the apartment! Marion, our host, is a year round resident of Boothbay and helped us with several dining and destination tips. We are already planning our return trip for next summer. I can recommend this listing without reservation. Enjoy!

Great location, just a few minutes walk into town. Very clean apartment, good space for 2 people, lovely back yard and garden. And the owner was very accommodating and nice. We arrived to a basket of homemade blueberry muffins and a bottle of wine. Definitely recommend.
